PLANET MARS.
DEATH'S DOOR DOCKS.
Alex walked out of the spaceship. He raised his hands to shield his eyes from the bright light of the morning sun. The dock he found himself in was a private one, away from the general docks of Grim city on Mars. It didn't contain much other than himself, a few spaceships, and so attendants that looked like they were there to receive him.
"Sir Alex you've arrived. we have been waiting for you. If you would please."
A man that looked like he was in his early 40s with a ponytail on his head said from a few ters away. And made a gesture with his hands facing a hovercar...
Alex turned his head to his right and glared at the bald grumpy looking attendant that ca out of the spaceship with him.
The attendant broke into a cold sweat. He found it hard to look into Alex's eyes and felt like if he looked away he would be killed on the spot.
"Who asked you to relay my location?" Alex asked with a tinge of nace behind his words.
"Sir Alex I... I only thought of making the journey a lot more comfortable for you." He replied in fear.
"You still have the audacity to lie to . Give a reason not to kill you right now. Tell , who asked you to relay my location?"
Alex said with the sa tone a gentleman would use to speak when drinking tea.
He reached his hand out and grabbed the attendant's Neck. He was strangling him. He released the attendant from his grip...
"Speak now or you might as well never speak again or even think of speaking."
'Cough cough cough!!'
The attendant coughed violently. His head had turned beetroot red.
"Forgive my insolence, Sir Alex. It was the Head supre that commanded it!"
Alex raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Since when did he give this command?"
"Before we left for Planet Venus sir."
The bald attendant got on his knees.
"Forgive , sir, I have wronged you. Please have rcy on ." The bald attendant pleaded.
"You have wronged indeed. You've also done sothing worse than that. You've already made angry."
"Crack!!!"
The sound of bones snapping echoed out. Alex broke the attendant's Neck...
He took in deep breaths then turned to face the attendants that were there to receive him. They all had a blank expression on their face as nothing had happened. He covered the distance between them.
"Who's the head here?"
"That would be , Sir Alex." The man with a ponytail said with a smile.
"Clean this ss up."
"As you wish Sir." He said and gave a bow. The head attendant snapped his fingers and two junior attendants ran towards the body with a broken neck...
"This way Sir Alex," The head attendant said.
He led Alex towards a luxurious hovercar. The hovercar was the latest "Benediction" SUV series, The "Benediction III"... The car looked sleek, it wasn't sothing that anyone could get their hands on. But there was a fleet of them in front of him at the mont...
'Extravagant as always. You would think such type of organization would keep a low profile.' Alex sighed inwardly.
The interior of the Benediction III looked as luxurious as the exterior did. And there were snacks inside there too..
'They really ca prepared. I'm hungry. I'll eat just one.' Alex thought to himself and picked an energy chocolate bar...
"Where would you be going to first, Sir Alex?" The head attendant asked.
"The headquarters," Alex said.
*********
GRIM CITY.
DEATH'S DOOR HEADQUARTERS.
The Benediction III finally ca to a stop and Alex stepped out imdiately. He didn't wait for anyone to open the door for him.
Alex stared at the humongous building in front of him. Right in front of him was the headquarters. A building that was 152.4 ters tall. With a huge sign at the top of the building. Written on it was.
"DOORS TO WONDERS. GRIM CITY'S BEST 5 STAR HOTEL"
Alex knew that the building in from of him was just a facade. The actual position of the headquarters was under the hotel. He made his way towards the entrance.
Alex stepped into the hotel. He was greeted by the familiar round hall with pure crystal marble floors and flourished with wooden tables by the side. Expensive cushions were placed at different spots in the hall. A lot of rich individuals pacing around. Alex had been here a few tis.
Doors to wonders is a hotel that gave their custors the feeling that they were in the past, on Earth. They focused on the way things were from that Era.
He made his way towards the VIP elevator.
"Ding!!"
The doors to the elevator opened and he wasted no ti in getting in. He pressed the button with the letter "D" written on it. The elevator doors closed. He felt as it descended.
"Ding!!"
The doors to the elevator opened once more and Alex stepped out.
'The design and architecture of the underground base were like that of a castle from the dieval era. A lot of secret passages were present here. Almost everything was similar to that era, they were pretty much old fashioned.' Alex said to himself.
All the staff insight stopped and looked at who stepped out.
"Welco, Sir Alex!!!" They all chorused and gave a bow.
Alex acknowledge them and gave them a nod.
He turned in the direction of a statue holding a scythe.
The statue was 10ft tall, wearing a robe that had a hood, which covered its head. And it held a book in its left hand. Written on the book was.
"Monunt of death."
He stood a few ters away from the statue and stayed still for a few seconds. A red light illuminated his sight and scanned him after it was done a stairway going down, appeared behind the statue.
********
"Head supre Sir Alex is here. He is on his way to the judgnt Hall right now."
The head attendant that received Alex reported to the Head supre.
"Should we stall for so ti or let him proceed?"
The head attendant asked.
"Did he eat from the snacks that were placed in the car?" asked the Head supre.
"Yes, he did my lord."
"Then let him be. Good job, you can take the rest of the day off."
"I thank you for your kindness Head supre," The head attendant said and left the hall.
"Urni!"
The Head supre called out.
"Yes my Lord," Urni replied without revealing his position.
"Bring Sheila here. And tell everyone to not intervene when Alex arrives here."
"As you wish my lord," Urni said.
