It has been 15 days since they arrived in the mansion where their clients were residing. While everyone has been taking shifts guarding the daughters, Alex has been using his ti catching up on proper sleep that he missed out on when he had been in the forest with Nana.
Camron stepped into the room where Alex was taking a nap. "I know that you're awake, Alex." Camron sat by the edge of his bed.
"What do you want?" Alex asked with his eyes closed.
"You have been like this for over 2 weeks now, just sleeping here and eating whenever you feel like. Don't you want to do sothing else?"
"Like what? I wasn't assigned to do anything. Or are you here because you think I'm tarnishing the image of our team?" Alex opened one eye and peeped at his friend's expression. He smirked when he saw that Camron didn't fall for his trick.
"You know that I don't care about that. Everyone in our team knows that you are not to be underestimated." Camron said frankly.
"Good, so what's the real issue?" Alex sat up and stretched his hands.
"While I don't care about how those other teams see our team, I am not comfortable with the image they have of you. I don't know why, but it doesn't settle well with ." Camron fell into his thoughts.
Alex had a weird expression on his face. "Sotis, I swear I wonder if you are gay and have fallen for ."
Camron faked a loving smile and stared right into Alex's eyes. "Maybe maybe I am. When it cos to you I just can't help myself." He raised his hand and placed it on one of Alex's knee. He gently caressed his knee.
"Get your hands off my knee, you weirdo!" Alex slapped his handoff.
"You are just that handso," Camron proceeded to unbutton his shirt slowly.

"Make another move and I will use this spear to stab you." Alex threatened with his silver spear.
Camron raised his hands and tried hard to hold his laughter back.
"Hahahaha!! I'm sorry, I couldn't miss this chance to tease you. Hahahaha!!!!" Camron let loose and started laughing frantically.
Alex chuckled at the scene the two of them just played. "If you do sothing like this again I'll castrate you." There was a smile on Alex's face but he ant it.
His threat only made Camron laugh harder.
['I think that woman has rubbed her fetish of causing harm to the male genitalia on you.'] Al comnted.
Alex winced a bit when Al said that. He threatened Camron the sa way she threatens him, with an innocent smile on her face.
Alex facepald himself. ['Please don't speak of that woman again.'] Alex pleaded. During his stay here he had forgotten about Nana.
"Alright, I'll stop laughing now. You should at least roam the city, you might find sothing that you want. The last ti that you were here, in the capital city, you didn't have the opportunity to check the city out. Don't you want to at least see if there's anything that might interest you?" Camron ntioned.
"Hmmm."
['Sothing like the Midas flower?'] He thought to himself.
['Will that flower appear in a place like a city? I doubt it. Mr. Guardian didn't make that clear to us though.'] Al ntioned.
['True. I also don't think that such will surface in the city.'] Alex reasoned.
['But Camron is still right about sothing, we might find sothing that we want in the city, and a little touring has never hurt anyone before.'] Lex interjected.
['Unless you have a price on your head. Hahaha.'] Al burst into laughter. ['Rember the guy we killed on Venus, Alabama? That fat rich guy that was on a tour with quite a number of Milfs.'] Al said.
['No, now please shut up.'] Alex dismissed Al.
['Touch. I'll let you have this one rabbit.']
"I guess I'll head out and find out what this city has that I might like."
"Great!! I need you to help buy so cultivation pills." Camron flashed a blinding smile at Alex.
"You cunning fox, you tricked ." Alex was surprised and annoyed, but at the sa ti happy to see that his friend was not as nave as he has always made him out to be. "I don't know if I should be proud or worried," Alex uttered.
Camron chuckled. "Co one, it's nothing like that. You happen to be the only one with a lot of ti on his hands around here, so while you are exploring, can't you help a friend out?"
"I'll help you this ti, but not because you asked to. You earned it with your deception. What pill do you want to buy?"
"Vast-edges pills."
"Huh? That's the na?"
"Yeah, is there anything wrong with it?"
['No, just thought it was going to be sothing like aspirin.'] Alex thought to himself. "Never mind, where can I get what you're looking for?"
"It's a common, but a bit expensive pill, you can head to any apothecary and you'll find it there."
"Alright. I'm heading out now." Alex said and walked to the nearest window.
"But that's not the way to the door," Camron stated.
"I'd rather not see so bald heads on the way out." He said and jumped out the window. Where his room was located was on the second floor of the mansion.
-Thud!
He landed on the ground. "Don't cause any trouble while you are out there." He looked up and saw Camron's head protruding from the window of the room.
"Yeah, yeah." He waved his hand and made his way to the gate of the mansion
"Ahh, I forgot to give him the money for the pills, then again, he is rich." Camron realized his mistake
Alex had been walking for a while before he saw another person. Where the mansion was located is secluded from the rest of the city.
The first person that Alex t, he assud the person was a farr. It was an old man in dirt-covered clothes and a hoe with a wooden handle hanging on his shoulder.
"Excuse, do you know where I can find the nearest apothecary?" Alex asked the old man.
The old man gave him directions and Alex thanked him before he left.
['So you do have so manners.'] Al jokingly said.
['If I think that you deserve it then you get it.']
['Indeed, you-.']
"Gather round, gather round everyone. Cultivators from different parts of the western continent, gather round and feast your eyes on a pill that will have you wanting more. A pill that can help boost your cultivation by several folds."
A chubby middle-aged man with a beard, standing in front of an apothecary attained the attention of the cultivators around.
"I know that everyone is wondering what type I pill I have for you. First, let tell you how we ca upon this pill. While we went out searching for a rare ingredient needed by the head alchemist of our apothecary, we stumbled upon the remains of a cultivator. Not just any cultivator, a cultivator whose cultivation is estimated to be at the Heaven realm. On this cultivator we found a storage ring with 8 pills in it, all of which have the sa effects, to increase the cultivation of whoever consus it."
"Wow!" so of the bystanders exclaid.
"Show us the pill!!" soone from within the crowd voiced out.
"Now, now. Patience my friends, I will show you the pill and let you judge on your own if what I have been saying is the truth or not. Now this pill, we do not know what it is called but we have decided to give a na, it is called the evening primrose." The chubby man brought a little wooden chest from his storage ring and open the chest.
A fragrant intoxicating aroma filled the air and invaded the senses of everyone there. Just from this, they could tell that the QI and properties in this pill weren't of ordinary origins. There were 6 light-yellow pills inside the little chest, resting on a neat white piece of cloth.
When the aroma reached Alex, he starred at the light-yellow pills in the little chest and tightened his fist.
['Although it is not as intoxicating as that of the Midas flower, it is still sothing. I have to get my hands on this pill, all of them.'] Alex was determined to get these pills now.
"How much for a pill!!" soone from within the crowd asked.
"The pills are going to be auctioned out 4 days from now, here in the halls of our apothecary. We will sell at most two pills to one person and to qualify you to need to buy yourself an invite, the invite is also limited and will be auctioned out two days from now." The chubby middle-aged man announced.
['These damn profiteers. Trying to earn the best out of sothing that isn't even theirs in the first place.'] Al cursed at them.
['If I was the one I would do the sa thing.'] Alex ntioned.
['Don't buy the pills.'] Al suggested.
['You know that you wouldn't be able to stop from getting these right?'] Alex said to his alter.
['Just shut up and let finish. Don't buy it, instead, we should steal it. After all the pills aren't theirs, to begin with.'] Al said mischievously.
