"What do you an?" Elliana asked.
Does he know that she has lost her mories and is suffering? Does he know that life has been hard on her?
Could he feel her pain? Elliana looked at the man before her with hope, unsure why it mattered to her.
"What I an is, what if you don’t have so answers to the questions at the mont? So what if things have been ugly in the past? You have your future ahead of you. It’s okay. You can learn to smile, can’t you?" Sebastian said.
Elliana stood there, frozen in her place for a few seconds.
She kept looking into his hazel eyes, his Hazel eyes that were so beautiful when he uttered these words to her.
Why was he being so good to her? Right. He proposed friendship to her.
"Shall we?" Sebastian extended his hand towards her.
Elliana looked down at his hand, her heart skipping a beat.
This action had no aning in making her feel so good. It has no aning, making it look like he wasn’t asking her out to move ahead inside the carnival area but asking her out on a date.
She hesitated for a second.
She was about to lift her hand and place it in his hand when soone held her hand, and she turned to look at Prince Vincenzo.
"Didn’t you want to co here? What are you waiting for?" Vincenzo asked and pulled her inside the carnival.
Lucas looked at his King, who clenched his extended hand before turning to look at the girl leaving.
He looked at his boss, a sigh leaving his mouth that captured Sebastian’s attention.
"Do you think one of these days I will end up punching my brother?" Sebastian asked and left, leaving Lucas shocked with his choice of words.
Lucas looked at Ambrose, who shrugged.
"I am fine as long as we are getting a lady boss. I feel like we deserve so warm womanly touch to our cold and monotonous palace," Ambrose said. Lucas shook his head at him before following his King to ensure he seriously didn’t end up punching his brother.
Alcinder and the group reached the carnival shortly. They t near the soft toy store, where Elliana’s gaze was fixed on a particular plush duck.
"Do you like it?" Sebastian asked.
Vincenzo beat him to it and bought the plush toy before the girl could even say anything.
"Here. Take it as a gift from my side," Vincenzo said before he extended his hand and pulled Elliana’s cheeks.
"It’s cute. Just like you," Vincenzo said, and Elliana blushed, her cheeks and ears turning red.
Lucas imdiately coughed loudly, catching everyone’s attention.
"I... Water," Lucas coughed, and Prince Vincenzo narrowed his brows.
But seeing the subordinate’s face turning red and no one moving from their place, he shook his head at his brother before leaving to get so water.
As soon as Prince Vincenzo left, Lucas cleared his throat before taking a deep breath.
"I feel much better now. Oh, that rollercoaster ride really looks fun. Let’s go there," Lucas didn’t even give anyone any chance to object. He held Elliana’s hand, pulled her to the ride, and knew too well that his King would follow them.
"The first seat is the most adventurous. Co," Lucas pushed her inside the seat, pulling lony away from the seat, who was about to sit beside Elliana to enjoy the first seat.
"I am sitting here," Lucas said, and lony pouted.
However, as soon as Sebastian climbed the small stairs, he stepped aside.
"Wait. How can I sit here? Prince Vincenzo went to bring water for . It would be so disrespectful to him. Why don’t you enjoy the ride, sir?" Lucas said before he ushered his King to sit beside Elliana.
Once the operator closed the barriers and locked them, he smirked, proud of his work, before descending the stairs to be able to record a video for them.
Ambrose, who was watching Lucas working so hard, couldn’t help but chuckle at him.
He shook his head before taking out a cigar from his pocket and lighting it up.
Since this girl has arrived in their lives, he doesn’t know why, but he has started to feel protective of her, too.
This was the first ti he had the urge and need to have a lady boss in their palace.
Were they not functioning well earlier? Everything was fine. Then why does he feel like that? Why was Lucas and their King acting like that?
What kind of connection did she co with?
He was a firm believer and believed that everyone cos into your life because destiny has written them into your life. And for so many people to be affected by the presence of this one girl, things weren’t as simple as they looked.
He looked at Prince Vincenzo, who was walking towards them with a scowl on his face, and scoffed, knowing all too well how this was going to end.
Things hadn’t even started properly, and he could already see a love triangle forming.
Just like an onlooker, he was surely going to enjoy the show. Ambrose smirked at his thoughts before averting his gaze towards Lucas, who finally walked to him.
"Prince Vincenzo, thank you so much for bringing water. Sothing was stuck in my throat, and after coughing violently, I felt much at ease," Lucas said, faking things.
Vincenzo looked at the ride that already started before humming at Lucas.
He wasn’t a fool to not see what this subordinate was trying to do.
"Be careful next ti. This trick won’t work all the ti," Vincenzo smirked, not at all ashad of letting him know that he knew everything.
Lucas felt a little embarrassed but didn’t say anything in return. He was ready to go through that kind of embarrassnt for his King’s happiness that was getting affected by a particular girl these days.
"Hmm," Lucas said, dismissing the matter and taking out his phone shalessly as he started to record the video.
Vincenzo shook his head at the subordinate before taking a deep breath and calling his father to ask them about things he had asked him to look into.
