anwhile, in the Creta regions, Nathaniel who was watching his sister crying in pain, grabbed another paper of the ancient book with a neutral look on his face.

Though he was trying to keep a cool facade, anyone who truly knew him could tell how angry he was because he wasn’t able to help his sister who was writhing in pain.

He didn’t know what exactly happened. Nathaniel had been busy finding spells that would ensure Elliana didn’t lose her life even after the siren took her powers back.

Thus, thinking she was only having a ntal breakdown because she was to tell the truth to Sebastian the next day, he didn’t react or go there to calm her down.

This was sothing no one would be able to help her with.

It broke his heart to see her crying, and as much as he sympathized with her, he also knew that unraveling this truth was far more important.

With a sigh, he looked at the pen on the other table and raised his hand towards it, making the pen appear in his hand before he started jotting down all the changes of eye color he had observed in Elliana so far for research purposes so he could find a reliable spell for her.

"Damn it!" He heard Azura’s cussing before the witch appeared in front of him, and he raised his brows at her.

"I suppose the eting with your daughter didn’t go as expected?" Nathaniel asked, roaming his hand on the screen in front of him and changing the scene to the mountains that were under his jurisdiction so that Azura wouldn’t find out about Elliana’s crying or the witch would go and cause a ss there.

Azura turned to him with a wrong expression.

"Don’t remind about it. When I reached there, I had all the plans to save Elliana’s powers from going haywire, beco the heroine in my daughter’s eyes, and nd things between us," Azura paused.

Nathaniel placed his pen down gently and looked at the witch queen who clearly wanted his attention and sighed.

"And then?" He asked.

"Circe is getting out of hand," she said.

"Circe? Right. Elliana gave them a na," Nathaniel said and Azura nodded.

"Elliana didn’t have an idea what they were doing. But that’s not the important part. The important part is that it was all sirens. Three sirens were there. They were the three sirens who were trying to find the person who had their queen’s powers in the vampire kingdom. Elliana’s singing gave them the vibrations they were searching for. I don’t think they have seen Elliana’s face or know who she is, but -" Azura stopped.

The ntion of Sirens already reaching Elliana was enough to send Nathaniel into a frenzy, and now Azura was making it harder for him by being all secretive.

"But, what?" He asked.

"I saw her. The reincarnation of the siren queen. I couldn’t catch her to have a word with her, but she was definitely there," Azura looked at Nathaniel, who bit his lips.

This wasn’t good.

For how long has this siren queen been observing his Elliana? Could it be that she was planning to take back her powers?

And now that she must’ve seen all the witches trying to get their hands on Elliana for those powers that can bring a dead person back to life, the siren must be feeling even more urgent to get her powers back.

Does that an they didn’t have much ti? No. There was still one thing he could do. Nathaniel clenched his teeth, looking at Azura.

"Queen Azura, I think it’s about ti we perform that binding spell," Nathaniel whispered, and Azura’s eyes widened.

"Binding spell? Have you lost your mind?" Azura raised her voice, and Nathaniel clenched his hand on the handrest before shaking his head.

"I must do this. If my life can save Elliana’s, I am ready to put it in front of her anyti. If this is what it would take to protect the only person I truly loved with all I had, I will. And you won’t co between us," Nathaniel whispered.

Azura’s eyes brimd with tears. There she was who wanted to take her own daughter’s life and then there was this man who was ready to die for her, all in the na of love.

She felt her heart ache for her stepson.

"You will die, Nathaniel. Don’t you understand that you are equally important to ? We are trying our best to find King Eros. If sothing happened to her, you would die too. How do you expect to tell your father that I couldn’t save either of his children? Please have so rcy on too," Azura looked at him pleadingly.

Nathaniel stood from his place before walking to the window, closing his eyes.

"This is my decision, Queen Azura. You guys lived for so long without us, just think that we were never saved, to begin with. My life never held any aning to the kingdom either way. So it’s better that I at least protect the to-be Queen of the Dark Witch kingdom," Nathaniel whispered.

"But -"

"It’s for the kingdom," Nathaniel whispered, and this ti Azura couldn’t say anything.

Not because she cared about the kingdom more than Nathaniel, but for a second it almost felt like she heard King Eros speaking.

The sense of deja vu hit her. These were the exact words that King Eros said when he had to give up his child to Arizona because the kingdom didn’t accept him as the prince.

’It’s for the kingdom,’

Azura’s hand clenched. Just how much does their family needs to suffer?

At the sa ti, Elliana, who had cald down after crying her heart out, sat and looked at Vincenzo, who was scowling at her.

"Are you okay now?" He asked, and Elliana nodded, feeling much better.

"Good for you, because I am feeling anything but okay. Do you even rember how many tis you punched ? You heartless woman! Why do I have to go through this pain?" Vincenzo said.

After a few seconds when she didn’t say anything, his gaze softened when he looked at the girl who was looking at her feet.

"What is the plan now?" Vincenzo asked.

One thing he knew and learned about Elliana was the fact that she doesn’t stay low for too long. It was as if she had so kind of self-motivating chanism to fight all the negativity around her.

He was sure sothing was brewing in her mind.

"We go back. I am not a coward, Prince Vincenzo. I don’t run away from my problems. Besides, I think it was wrong of in the first place to get angry when I already knew the reason why Mr. Marino was doing this. I knew about everything already, so it was my fault for leaning into his act. Let’s go,"

Elliana stood from her place before clicking her fingers and her makeup and dress cleaned within a second, amazing Vincenzo.

"I swear I need this kind of skill too," he whispered.

"So, are we teleporting?" He asked, and Elliana chuckled softly at his excited face before she held his hand.

anwhile, Lucas who was finding the princess and had asked all their spies to look for her, felt like losing his mind.

Where the hell did she leave? Who was the one who took her away? There was no way she ran away like that herself.

She was a re human, and no matter how fast she was, she would never be able to surpass a vampire’s speed.

Losing all hope after looking for her for more than 40 minutes, Lucas finally walked back to the hall where Prince Sebastian was standing with Brooklyn.

Sebastian looked up as soon as he felt his subordinate’s presence. Seeing the disappointnt and worry on his face, Sebastian imdiately understood he wasn’t able to find the princess and his hands clenched.

He turned around and was about to walk again when Brooklyn called him.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"I have to find her. She is my responsibility, not to ntion she bled too. What if she is in any kind of danger? I don’t want to ss up anything and have any obstacle co between and the throne," Sebastian used the sa excuse that he had been using to stay away from Elliana to find her.

"In that case, you won’t have to go anywhere," Brooklyn said, and Sebastian narrowed his brows.

What did she an by that? Was she dumb? He just now told her that he needed to look for her and -

"She is here," Brooklyn said, and Sebastian didn’t waste a second in turning around.

His gaze imdiately fell on his princess, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw Vincenzo’s handkerchief wrapped on her hand with so green substance that must’ve been herbs.

Elliana didn’t look at him, rather she looked at his grandfather.

"I am sorry for the small mishap, King Abramo. As a human I should’ve been careful not to get hurt," She bowed in front of the king, and the man smiled before waving his hand.

"It’s all good as long as you are fine, Princess. Are you feeling okay, now?" He asked, and Elliana smiled.

"Yes. I feel fine enough to have my first dance now that I missed earlier," Elliana whispered before smiling, her eyes crinkling in a crescent moon shape before she turned around and looked at Vincenzo.

"I think it would only be fair if I invited people who didn’t have their first dance with , no?" She asked, and Vincenzo’s eyes widened when he realized what she was doing.

"Princess -"

"Would you like to offer your first dance, Prince Vincenzo?" Elliana extended her hand.

Sebastian took a deep shaky breath, the monster inside him growling when they saw their wife elegantly asking so other man’s hand for dance.
