"Thank you," Sebastian said before he pecked her lips.
Elliana looked at him confused, long forgotten about their position. It wasn’t the most important thing right now.
Well, it was most important, but she needed to see why Mr. Marino was praising her chemical formulation so much.
"So do you think it will work? Is it poisonous enough?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian raised his brows at her.
"If it was a gift, it’s indeed working. And poisonous enough? By poisonous enough, did you an it is strong enough to make teach you? Yes, it is. I love what you did with the hands," Sebastian said.
Hands? Does he an bonds between the molecules? Elliana scrunched her nose.
"The eyes are pretty too," he added.
Eyes? The carbon and oxygen molecules are definitely not eyes. Is he talking about Benzene? The more he was speaking, the more confused she beca.
"Eyes? Whose eyes?" Elliana finally asked.
"Yours of course," Sebastian showed her the papers, and Elliana raised her brows when she noticed the papers.
What the hell? How did this happen?
The chemical formula in front of her had changed to a portrait of her with Mr. Marino with them sitting on so kind of hill and Elliana was leaning on Mr. Marino, her eyes dazed like she was half asleep, while a soft smile etched on her face. Mr. Marino was wearing the half mask like he has been doing these days.
To say she was shocked would be an understatent. She clearly rembered these were the formulas she was constituting, then how - she paused.
Her powers, did her powers do this? She was indeed talking to herself earlier, could it be that she wasn’t talking to herself but her powers? Was that even possible?
Elliana looked at Sebastian who took the papers from her hand and placed them aside.
"What gift do you want in return for such a good drawing?" He asked, and Elliana looked into his genuinely happy eyes, feeling guilty.
She was sure he wouldn’t have had the sa expression if he had seen those poison formulas.
"It’s nothing. I should go back to studying," Elliana tried to pull herself away from him, but rather than leaving her, he grabbed her hair in his fist gently, forcing her to look at him.
"Should I pleasure you? You are quite aroused, aren’t you?" Sebastian played with the hem of her panties, and once again, Elliana forgot about her problems, getting lost in his eyes.
"Or we can save that for later," Sebastian placed his mouth on her neck, sucking the spot for a few seconds, his hand traveling on her body as if he was exploring every sensitive spot of her body.
"Rrrrrr," a sound ca from the back of his throat, and both Sebastian and Elliana froze in their places.
Sebastian imdiately left her neck and looked at her, his pupils dilated while Elliana looked at him with disbelief all over her face.
He helped her stand, his breathing ragged, and Elliana looked at him, concerned.
Did he just growl at her?
"Mr. Marino -" she started but he cut her off.
"You should bring the books to the table. Don’t lie on the floor like this," he murmured to her, his eyes extrely dark, probably the darkest shade of hazel she had ever seen, and she looked at him confused when he took the papers, turned around, and left.
Elliana looked at the books, that were scattered around and then at the long trail of shelves behind which Mr. Marino disappeared as if he was never here.
She wanted to worry about Mr. Marino, but right now there was sothing more worriso to her.
She dialed Nathaniel’s magical number.
Nathaniel, who was sitting in front of the dean of the magical school, felt the incoming call and looked at the dean, raising his hand in the air to stop him from speaking.
"It’s her. I am going to pick up the call. You should see her," Nathaniel said, and the dean nodded.
"Sure. Even I would like to see what kind of girl she is that you are so worried about," the Dean said with a scoff.
He was having a hard ti believing that there was an 18-year-old girl who was even more powerful than the strongest level 9 aristocrats.
"Don’t provoke her," Nathaniel said in his cold voice before picking up the call.
"What is it, sunshine?" Nathaniel’s deanor took a 180° turn, and the Dean was amazed at this soft voice that he had never seen or heard this mixed breed witch using ever.
"Hey... so ummm... I know you must be busy but I have a very simple question. Can you please clear my doubt?" Elliana asked, and Nathaniel clicked his fingers to see where she was.
Seeing her standing in the library with books all around, he raised his brows.
"What is it?" Nathaniel asked, looking at the Dean who was observing the girl carefully.
"Can... is it possible for your powers to talk to you?" Elliana asked.
Nathaniel looked at the dean.
"It is possible, but only the most refined witches with more than a hundred years of experience can do it," the Dean said, and Nathaniel humd.
"You heard it?" He asked, and Elliana nodded, the confusion and uneasiness on her face making Nathaniel sigh.
"Tell what happened," he said, and Elliana nodded again.
"Well, what happened is that-"
Elliana told him everything from how Sebastian ca when she was preparing the formulas and she didn’t want him to see it and how she prayed to the moon goddess, and it was at the sa ti she heard the voice in her mind. The voice asked her to not pray for other people’s powers when she is powerful and stuff, and the next thing she knew, the papers had indeed changed.
She obviously hid the fact of what she did with Mr. Marino, and Nathaniel humd.
"What do you have to say in this matter?" Nathaniel asked.
"Probably just her conscience," The Dean said, still not believing that an 18-year-old girl would have the powers to activate the otherworldly personality trait of her witch powers that witches ditate so hard for.
Nathaniel smiled thoughtfully.
"Are you alone? Can we co and visit you?" Nathaniel asked even when he knew the answer.
"Hmmm, okay. Just be careful of your aura," Elliana said, and she didn’t even take another breath when she saw Nathaniel and a dark-skinned man sitting in front of her.
"Give your hand," Nathaniel said, and Elliana did as she was told.
Nathaniel closed his eyes, his powers feeling suppressed as Elliana’s powers were indeed taking a structure completely different from inside her head space. It was almost like how werewolves had a wolf soul in their head space.
’Who are you trying to touch, mixed breed? Can you really ta ? Can this fool ta ?’
Nathaniel heard before her powers opened their eyes, the color bright pink this ti, and Nathaniel gulped.
He looked at the girl, who was looking at him with the most innocent expression ever.
"Did you hear anything else?" Nathaniel asked, and Elliana shook her head.
Nathaniel smiled at her. What a bitchy witch powers! They are really refining themselves at the speed of light, aren’t they? Nathaniel sighed and looked at the Dean.
A cunning smile appeared on Nathaniel’s face, confusing Elliana and the dean.
"Can you let that man hold your hand too? He will try to touch your soul, so don’t be surprised," Nathaniel grinned, and Elliana looked at him for a few seconds before nodding and walking to the dean, looking as innocent and soft as ever.
The Dean looked at the smile of the harmless girl and smiled before extending his hand.
Elliana placed her hand on his, and the Dean concentrated on her soul.
He wanted to asure the powers so that he could decide what grade to admit her in.
Thump! Thump!
"You dared to lay your finger on my soul?"
The Dean’s heart thumped loudly, sothing ringing in his head before he opened his eyes in shock and was thrown away from Elliana.
"Mr!" Elliana looked at Nathaniel in horror.
"I didn’t do anything, I swear," Elliana’s eyes welled with tears as she hugged herself, seeing the man’s nose bleeding and Nathaniel smirked.
