To say Sebastian was annoyed would be an understatent. When he had thought they would be going on a vacation to beaches, he had sothing calm and relaxing in his mind, but this was far from calming.

He didn’t mind Elliana enjoying the night with her friends. It was the least botherso thing to him. The thing that was most bothering him was the cacophony of voices of the girls around him who were pretending to be whispering to each other, but their voice was loud enough to reach his eardrums.

"If I had a bodyguard like that, I would never go out to look for another man,"

"I know, right? He can protect from danger and my body from being touched by another man,"

"Imagine a dangerous-looking man like him actually falling for a soft girl!! Ah, it’s the dream of every other girl,"

"Yes, this human friend of Samantha is surely lucky. Look at the kind of hunks she has tailing her. And now the aristocrat kids too,"

"I know, right? This is what we call being lucky. If she wants she can have her bodyguard and any of those boys too. Shall we go and ask him if he is looking for a companion for the trip?"

"Maybe soone to fool around with or bang around. I will happily spread my legs for a hunk like him. Ah, the kind of vibes he is oozing, it makes want to touch myself already,"

These were so of the sentences that the girls had been spouting, and Sebastian was on the verge of breaking the railing that he has been gripping tightly for the past ten minutes.

He looked over to Elliana who was jumping around and dancing and heaved a drawn-out sigh.

"Sir, Mr. V is on the line," Lucas murmured to Sebastian, trying to keep their business and the na of the vampire Duke as confidential as possible.

"Okay," Sebastian took the phone from Lucas and nodded at him to keep an eye on the princess before he walked away to talk to the Duke.

"What is it?" His voice was curt as he found a calm spot on the ship.

"As precise as always, aren’t you? Anyway, I don’t have much ti either. If my wife saw talking to anyone at this ti of night, she is going to throw a tantrum, and that’s the last thing I want. Is your wife like this too?" The Duke asked, and Sebastian leaned on the railing before closing his eyes.

Was his wife like that too? He doesn’t think so, but then, it’s only now that she has started to open up with him and show her true colors.

The turric milk incident was the first ti she threw a small tantrum like that. It was beyond cute, and if it had been any other occasion or if things weren’t so complicated between them, any normal husband would’ve fucked his wife then and there.

Her scowl, the way she narrowed her eyes and knitted her brows like a kid hidden in an adult body. That was the first ti, but that was more than enough for him to lose his mind for her.

Maybe it’s only now she is getting comfortable with him. So who -

"Are you there?" The Duke’s words brought him out of his thoughts, and he humd.

"I apologize if your wife is a sensitive topic for you. Anyway, as I was saying, we have gotten so information on the annual ball after a couple of weeks. Sothing massive is going to happen," The Duke said, and Sebastian narrowed his eyes.

"What do you an by sothing massive? What exactly have you guys heard?" He asked.

"Look, I don’t know, but we are not even allowed to talk about it to anyone. This isn’t limited to just your royal Kingdom. Many other people seem like a part of it too. The rumors are -"

"What rumors? Is it about us?" Sebastian asked, trying to gather as much information as he could.

"The rumors about the rogue vampires are spreading in the internal system. And though we expect people to panic or demand answers from the Central at a ti like this, everyone is strangely calm about it. I understand that the news is spread only in the core system, which consists of highly trained and collected people, there should be so buzz there, no? It’s almost like -"

"Everyone was inford about this before the rumors started, or they already knew what was going on.

The core system directly works with the central, and I believe my grandfather already spread this information among them so no one panics, and they could handle the information in their area if they hear of any leak," Sebastian completed the Duke’s sentence before looking at the waves forming under the ship.

These waves though weren’t too harmful looking, they were enough to drown soone in themselves.

A true definition of calm yet destructive.

"But you say there are rumors about it. It ans soone is there who is talking about it outside the system," Sebastian smirked.

"It’s not a good thing for us, right? If this information leaks, it will send an uproar into the public," the Duke said, and Sebastian scoffed.

"That’s what they should expect when hiding such vital information. For now, you guys keep a lookout for other Dukes, and it would be better if you guys can find out about this one person who is leaking the information because he can’t control his mouth.

If anything happens, I know they are going to co for and bla because I recently got into a drama with my grandpa. So we need this scapegoat because sothing is definitely going to happen," Sebastian said, and after so ti, he ended the call.

He might as well go back to the princess and see what she is doing. He just hopes she is ready to go back to the room because he can’t take those girls’ gossip anymore.
