"What is going on?" lony whispered to Daniel who looked at the powerful standing man behind Elliana with their suitcases and sighed.
"et, Mr. Tian. He is Elliana’s bodyguard for the trip, and the man behind him is his secretary," Daniel said, and all of Elliana’s friends looked at each other.
"A bodyguard and a secretary for the bodyguard?" lony repeated, and Daniel nodded.
"Is everyone here? Ohh Lala, who is this beauty?" A boy walked up to Daniel before placing his hand over his shoulder and inhaling deeply.
"A human? Given how pretty she is, she must not be our food," The boy said, and Sebastian’s eyes drooped.
He was barely controlling himself and punks like these have to co and comnt on Elliana like this, huh? Food? Should he show him who can be a portion of the food here?
"Hey, Mickey, cut it. Don’t you see the man standing behind her? She is her bodyguard," lony whispered, and Lucas looked at the girl.
"Miss if you can tell us about our rooms, we can place our Miss’s luggage there," Lucas said, and lony nodded.
"Do you want a balcony room, Elliana?"
"I don’t have a -"
"That would be perfect," Sebastian interrupted before Elliana could deny it.
"Oh...uh okay. You can take room no. 103 and 104," lony averted her gaze, sothing about Elliana’s bodyguard putting her off.
"When will we leave? It’s the first ti I am -"
"If you want, I’ll take you to one for as long as you want," Sebastian murmured, and though his voice was low, it was audible to everyone and Lucas closed his eyes annoyed.
"Of course, I am sure the Master will allow it when she has her vacation and is done with her exams," Lucas quickly covered, and Sebastian realized his mistake.
"We were actually about to gather for the snacks before we are off to our rooms to introduce ourselves to others. There are like 50 more people on this ship, but their zone is different from ours. Our group includes around 15-20 people only," Samantha said, and Elliana humd.
"Tian, let’s go to the room and settle well. It’s in half an hour when the ship will start moving, right? I am actually a bit tired because I had to do everything at such short notice," Elliana’s words were plain and void of any emotions.
Her behavior was slightly different from how she was at the palace, and Sebastian realized that even though she has made new friends, she wasn’t trusting them enough to open up to them.
Or was her jolly nature her illusion?
"Hey, Mr, can you help with the luggage? It’s quite heavy and -" A girl, dressed in a body-hugging dress entered where they were standing, and Elliana narrowed her eyes when she noticed the deep cleavage of the girl, making her bre*sts look like they were about to fall because of how much she was leaning.
"He only takes orders from . I am sorry, but I am quite possessive of my bodyguard. You guys better not try to bully him," Elliana’s eyes turned dark, and this was the first ti Sebastian was seeing her becoming too serious and her gaze darkening in dominance like this.
Was she jealous? Sebastian’s pupils dilated a little.
Maybe Lucas was right, this trip would surely be eye-opening.
"Geez, it’s just taking my luggage and placing it into my room. Why are you fussing so much about it? Do you think you are entitled just because you are Daniel’s crush or sothing?" The girl asked, and Sebastian’s left eye quirked at the words.
Daniel’s crush? Is this how Elliana is known in the University?
His hands clenched to his side. His wife was actually known at the university as so other boy’s crush when she should have taken his na.
Sensing Sebastian’s aura turning dark and the chances of him blowing their cover increasing, Elliana sighed.
"Exactly my point. It’s just taking luggage to the room. I heard all of you vampires are really strong and can lift such asly things easily. I an, Samantha and lony could do it. Maybe I was under the wrong impression, and you are just weak like that. If that’s the case, I can lend you MY bodyguard to help a weak girl -"
"I am not weak," The girl seethed, and Elliana smirked.
"Then carry your luggage yourself. Do you feel entitled?" Elliana’s words were harsh, and her gaze was full of loathing.
Even though the girl in front of her was a vampire and a well-known businessman’s daughter, she still felt that the human in front of her was oozing strange kinds of dangerous vibes, and the girl backed off with a scoff before leaving.
"She really showed her her place. We don’t see Gabrielle tongue-tied daily. Damn, she is possessive," Drake said, nuzzling his face in lony’s neck, and their friends chuckled.
"You haven’t seen her. She is always like this. Don’t you see how Alcinder doesn’t talk too much in front of her?" lony scoffed.
"Yo, my cheetah," Dexter’s casual voice ca next, and he slung his hand around Elliana’s shoulders, making her stumble back.
"Geez, leave alone, you hooligan," Elliana pushed him away and Dexter was about to make fun of her when he felt soone’s piercing gaze on himself.
He turned to his side and noticed two n dressed in suits and masks.
"Who are they?" He asked, and when he heard the truth, his gaze shifted to Elliana.
"Oh, you had indeed ntioned sothing like that," Dexter said.
"Hey, guys! What are you all doing there? Co here and rock it!! It’s a vacation, not a mourning cruise!" Soone shouted from so distance before the music started playing, and everyone cheered loudly.
"You will join?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian shook his head.
"I’ll watch from the sidelines. Just enjoy it. I am here for any problems," Sebastian said, pulling out his phone, and Elliana nodded.
Daniel held her hand and pulled her to the party area where they were playing music and dancing.
"Elliana! Show us your best steps," lony shouted as she flailed her hair, dancing to the music.
"I couldn’t co to the school event and dance with you. Won’t you give this honor to dance with ?" Dexter said, and Elliana’s eyes turned sharp.
"Sure," Elliana whispered, placing her hand in his.
As soon as Dexter held her hand, he twirled her before dipping her backward, making her co up with a jerk, making her hair loosen up from the hair tie.
"You have gotten better at it," Dexter said, his hand only in respectful places.
"I had to," Elliana smiled.
What Elliana was unaware of was that soone was looking at her, observing her every move, and feeling a bit jealous.
