Glenn waved his hand and a book with a black cover with [I] written on the cover, ca flying from his back and placed right in between them.
"This is the way!" Glenn said pointing at the book.
Luke looked confused as he kept shifting his gaze from the book to Glenn.
"This is a thod of mana cultivation. Or rather prana cultivation!"
"Prana?" Luke asked.
"Mana is a magical energy present in our surroundings. We mages and wizards gather mana and cultivate our circle for casting magic and getting powers." Glenn kept on explaining.
"But there is another energy that governs life, that is Prana. It is a higher force of energy than mana and cultivating prana can even extend your lifespans."
"Then why didn’t you use it? You could have lived till now!" Luke asked.
"Passively, elves, dragons and dwarfs gather prana, though very minutely and use it only for extending their lives. But humans don’t have ways to access this energy nor the other species."
"But why? Then what is this prana cultivation book? If you all can’t, then how will I be able to?"
"Hold your horses, young man!" Glenn gave a laugh and continued.
"The reason is that we all and also the other species, all in the Vyomir continent are born with a magic circle in their heart. So, we can cultivate mana but not prana, since it requires not magic circle but unlocking your chakra, which the magic circle blocks. So, you can say that being born with a magic circle is a blessing as well as a curse!"
"But you, who has a shattered circle can be considered as not having a circle since it is not functional! You can perform this cultivation thod and cast magic using prana."
"Whoah!! Does this an I can even live longer too?"
"You can if you cultivate only to live. If you cast magic or fight, you will use up that prana you accumulated, so you have to refill your reserves. And also, the cost of casting magic through prana is greater than using mana, but in turn the magic is enhanced far more!"
"I can use all these spells I’ve been seeing till now! finally!" Luke couldn’t stop smiling.
"Well...there’s the problem! The spell that uses mana, can’t be used using prana!" Glenn said ekly.
"WHAT!? Then what’s the use of cultivating it? Why did you say it enhances the spells then?" Luke yelled in anger, feeling betrayed.
"I only saw the person who used this cultivation thod to perform the spells. The sa spells we used but far greater in power. Later we got to know that the incantations and the formulas of the spells he used are different than ours."
"Then you would have the spell book too, right lord Glenn!?"
"I’m sorry young man. But it has been lost."
"But I believe if you cultivate using this thod then maybe you can discover the ways to perform spells too!" Glen said with a warm smile.
’This old man is just playing with . Getting my hopes up for nothing. Still, sothing is better than nothing.’
"Thank you, lord Glenn!" Luke bowed his head in thanks and took the book in his hands.
"Only on one condition though! You can’t let anyone see this book or tell them about this thod."
"But what will I say to father? He will banish if I can’t heal my circle."
"Well just tell him the truth that it is a thod I passed on to you on the conditions that you can’t tell or show others."
"Alright then! Thank you again, lord Glenn!"
"Hohoho! Ok then! let send you back." Glenn waved his hands again as a blue light shined on Luke’s body and after a few seconds, he vanished from the spot.
"Are you sure you won’t regret this?" a voice ca from Glenn’s back.
"I don’t know! But there is sothing in this child that made give him the book." Glenn said without being surprised as if he knew soone was behind him from the start.
"You said the sa thing back then when you gave it to him too."
"But this child resembles you more than him! I feel he will correct the mistake that we did back then!" Glenn said as a smile crept on his face.
"You’re still delusional old man." He said and then vanished from the spot.
"You still haven’t changed your ways huh! Pay so respect you fool!!"

Luke opened his eyes and found himself still in the water. He was getting out of breath and moved his legs as he started swimming back up. The water shifted and he erged out of the water gasping for breath.
Drake rushed to his side and helped him move out of the water. He was soaked from head to toe. With Drake’s help he limped out of the platform and sat down on the ground.
After cooling down a few seconds, he then observed the surrounding.
Leo was out earlier then him and was standing beside his father and looking at Luke with a smirk and a red sword in his hand.
The duke had a cold expression, his eyes were glowing and he was looking towards him. Disappointnt was oozing out of his face towards Luke.
"Bring him to my chamber when he can move." Danver turned around and left leaving those words.
Leo walked near him and with a disdainful look started speaking. "I was out ages ago! I t the ancestor and he passed his magma sword!"
"Since you returned empty handed, I guess the ancestors refused to et with you. I can understand them! Why would they et a bastard son!"
"Can you help up lord Drake? I have to tell father sothing!" Luke ignored him outright and didn’t spare him a glance.
"Yes, young master!" Drake helped him stand up and both of them started walking out of the room.
’Enjoy your last days you bastard! You are being thrown away anyway!’ Leo gnashed his teeth in anger in being ignored as he saw them walking out.
