"Why are you just standing Shane!? Move from the side and shoot at its head." Luke yelled at Shane who was just standing behind Noah, while Noah was holding a wolf beast back with his shield.
After collecting the cryo lilies, Luke and Adriana's team bid their farewell to each other. Instead of staying together, they wanted to compete with each other fairly, since this was a tournant and a great price was at stake.
"Will the tower still be there? You said it vanished underground after you were out." Ruby asked.
Luke had told them about his experience after they moved their separate ways. He told them about the dragon tower and how he had awakened after passing all the trials. When he showed them his dragon form, they were stunned. They couldn't believe their eyes at first.
Luke explained everything he found about the dragons from Stormbreaker, their existence in ancient tis and how there may have been a secret related to their disappearance. They believed everything that Luke said, and accepted his new form quite fast.
They were now moving towards the direction of the tower. Since he had left in a hurry, he wanted to et Stormbreaker again, and was hoping that he may help Shane and Noah while taking the dragon core potion.
"I hope it's still there. I want you all to et him. he's a great senior, and I'll feel assured if the dragon core potion is used in his presence."
Ruby's face imdiately fell. Luke had explained to them about the potion he got as a reward. Shane jumped up in excitent when he heard that he can awaken circles and use mana too. Ruby was excited for Shane too. But when Luke told them about the dangers, she denied it's use imdiately.
Shane got adamant and wanted to awaken no matter what. This was his only dream that he had wished to be true from a long ti. Finally, when he was being presented with an opportunity, he didn't want to give it up under any circumstances.
"Are you still worried about him?" Luke asked, seeing her down.
"I want him to awaken his circles too. I'd be the happiest if this happens. But…if the price to pay for that cos to be his life, then…I'd rather…I want him to stay like this only." She sighed.
"I know it's not my place to say anything, but don't you think it's Shane's decision whether he wants this or not? If out of fear, you stop him from getting what he has been wishing all his life, who do you think he'll bla? He'll hate you forever."
"I know! But…I just want him to be safe. After our parents died, I've been taking care of him like a mother. He's everything to . If he's not there, what would I live for?...This is too hard a decision for . I don't know if I'll ever be able to allow this." Ruby said. Her eyes moist, almost on the verge of tears.
THUD!!
Just then the wolf beast fell on the ground.
"I just hope you can support him. And have faith in . Shane and Noah are like brothers to . I'd do anything to keep them safe." Luke said as he looked at Ruby with a wide smile on his face.
Noah took the mana stone out of the beast and along with Shane moved near them. Ruby released a long sigh. She stood up and followed Luke as both of them approached Noah and Shane.
"Let's move then, I think we're not much far from the tower." Luke started moving ahead as the others nodded and followed him.
Shane was furious at his sister and was not eting her eyes. He's been ignoring her throughout the journey.
"Stop acting like a child. I'll allow it." Ruby said.
All of them stopped on their tracks and turned to look at her, surprise and disbelief all over their faces.
"R-Really sister? Hahaha! I knew it. You're the best!" Shane jumped up, and hugged Ruby excitedly.
"Alright. Alright. But only in the presence of the dragon senior. If we can't find him, then you'll not be taking that potion." Ruby said sternly.
"What the hell are you waiting for Luke. let's move fast. there's no ti." Shane scolded Luke and started rushing ahead, hurrying the others.
The three of them chuckled and started moving again.
They kept moving at a fast pace, killing any beasts that ca in the way. Luke and Ruby always stayed at the back, letting Noah and Shane handle all the fights. This was what Noah had asked himself. With Luke being present for any uncertain event, he wanted to train and grow as much as he could.
"Can you really not use the ring and teleport all of us together? It's too far man! my legs are killing now." Shane whined asking Luke to use his ring.
"I tried nurous tis, but it was of no use. I can only bring one person with . So, we can do nothing other then walking." Luke said.
"How far though. I don't I can walk anymore. Noah! Let's fly. Just like earlier. Take in your arms."
"Shut up!" Noah yelled with a disgusted look on his face.
"I think we're here." Luke stopped abruptly as he said. He closed his eyes and started lifting up from the ground.
Blade like horns jutted out of his temples and his hair turned black. His pupils narrowed into slit like form and transford as he changed into his dragon form. Prana moved out of his body and spread around in the area.
After a few seconds, the ground started shaking vigorously. Dust rose from a spot a few ters ahead of them. the tower started moving out of the ground and slowly a huge tower appeared in front of their eyes.
The three of them stood with mouth agape. Though they had heard it from Luke, seeing it with their own eyes was different.
Just then a door appeared in front of them. it slowly opened and a bright light ca from the other side.
"Let's go." Luke said with a smirk on his face.
