On the other side, Shi Shuning had not been in a good ntal state for the past few days. Busy with company affairs on one hand and worrying about Ye Jinng's safety on the other, he had not had a proper rest for a long ti. At this mont, he was lying on his desk dozing off.

Two consecutive text ssage notification sounds woke Shi Shuning up. With hazy eyes, he picked up his phone and opened the ssage. Upon seeing the text, he imdiately beca alert.
He directly opened the location and sent it to Policeman Shi, then strode out of the office.
In the hospital, Xu Wanwan had just laid down on the hospital bed when her phone rang. Thinking it was a spam ssage from an unfamiliar number, she glanced at the ssage content, and Xu Wanwan sat up abruptly.

Gu Qi and Ye Jinchen imdiately beca alert. At this ti, Ye Junli rushed in from the neighboring old man's ward, waving his phone excitedly, "ng ng sent her location, I'm going to find her now..."

Ye Junli saw the anxious look on Xu Wanwan's face and nodded.
Gu Qi's eyes turned red, "You guys go, I'll take care of things at the hospital and look after Dad and Jinchen. You must bring our good girl back safely!"

Ye Jinchen saw Gu Qi's reddened eyes and hurriedly comforted her, "Mom, don't worry, everyone will co back safe!"
When Ye Junli and Xu Wanwan arrived at the parking lot, they received a call from Shi Shuning.
"Uncle, ng ng sent her location. I've already forwarded it to Policeman Shi."

Shi Shuning paused, "Okay, be careful."

One car after another sped through the silent night, with cars starting from different locations eventually converging.
A few police cars led the way, followed by Shi Shuning's group of private cars.

Ye Junwen finished his shower and heard the sound of a movie playing outside. He felt both tense and excited, never expecting that he would finally be with ng ng.
With anticipation, he opened the bathroom door, only for a blast of cold wind to dispel the warmth from his body.
Ye Junwen shuddered and looked up to find the bed empty. Turning his head, he saw the window wide open, with the curtains billowing in the wind. His heart sank as he rushed to the window to look outside.
Outside, a rope made of tied clothes swayed in the wind, but there was no one on the ground.
Ye Junwen couldn't believe that everything Ye Jinng had done was just to deceive him and escape!
He stumbled backward, listening to the movie playing on his phone. Ye Junwen turned his head to see the pink diamond necklace lying quietly next to the phone.
Ye Junwen's eyes widened as he picked up the necklace.
"Why! Why don't you even want to accept a necklace!"
Ye Junwen raised his hand and threw the necklace to the ground.
Ye Junwen's gaze darkened, and a bloodthirsty, demonic voice erged from his throat, "Ye Jinng! You better run faster, or else, when I catch you, I'll break your legs!"
With those words, he left the room and called for Zhen Kechuan.
"What's the matter?" Zhen Kechuan was woken up, feeling annoyed.
"Ye Jinng has escaped!" Ye Junwen gritted his teeth.
"Escaped?" Zhen Kechuan's brows furrowed as he walked towards Ye Jinng's room.
Seeing the rope made of clothes tied to the window, Zhen Kechuan's expression darkened, "So she had been prepared."
Ye Junwen's face was cold, "She tricked into coming to her room to watch a movie, and even tricked into taking a shower. She must have escaped during that ti."
Zhen Kechuan noticed the phone playing a movie on the bed and felt a sinking feeling, "Your phone was left here while you were in the shower?"
Ye Junwen nodded, and the next second, he realized sothing, his eyes widening, "Did she contact the outside world?"
"We can't stay here any longer. Hurry and put on so clothes, and let's go! Once we find a safe place, I'll help you capture Ye Jinng again!" With those words, Zhen Kechuan imdiately ran towards the room.
"Damn it!" At this mont, Ye Junwen wished he could capture Ye Jinng and severely punish her, but since their location might have been exposed, they could only escape first.
Ye Jinng groped her way through the darkness in the forest, running frantically. She was exhausted but didn't dare stop, as it was too dark to see the path clearly. She kept bumping into tree trunks or tripping over roots, but she didn't dare make a sound, fearing that her location would be pinpointed.
She didn't know how long she had been running when she finally spotted what seed like flashlight beams in the distance. Only then did she stop in her tracks.
Not knowing if it was friend or foe, Ye Jinng crouched down and slowly peeked out until the illumination revealed their clothing, and Ye Jinng stood up and started crying.
"Woo woo... police officer..."
The police dog barked a few tis in her direction, startling everyone. They imdiately shone their flashlights towards Ye Jinng, causing her to shield her eyes from the bright light.
Shi Shuning focused and saw her, "ng ng, it's ng ng!"
He imdiately ran over and hugged Ye Jinng tightly.
Ye Jinng, feeling the familiar embrace, cried out loud, "Woo woo... Brother Shuning, I missed you so much! I was so scared!"
Shi Shuning patted her back soothingly, "Don't be afraid, it's safe now. I've always been here!"
Xu Wanwan and Ye Junli also approached. Ye Junli choked out, "ng ng, Dad is here too."
"ng ng, I'm here too!" Xu Wanwan followed.
Ye Jinng then erged from Shi Shuning's embrace and saw her father and Wanwan, feeling even more aggrieved.
"Dad, Wanwan, you finally ca..."
Xu Wanwan cried and hugged Ye Jinng. Ye Junli embraced both his daughters and patted their backs, comforting them, "Dad's taking you ho!"
Policeman Shi saw this reunion and felt relieved. Thinking of the two fugitives, he continued to have the officers search according to the location.
Ye Jinng, upon hearing Policeman Shi's voice, raised her head, her voice choked with sobs: "Officer, I'll take you to find them, there's a castle over there..."
