"Mr. Ye, I have gathered the information you asked to look into. The paternity test report is indeed from a legitimate testing institution, and all the data can be traced," said Old Zhang, who used to be Ye Junli's assistant and had previously served as an assistant to Ye's father. A couple of years ago, he had applied for early retirent and then opened a private civil and comrcial investigation firm, also known as a "private detective agency."
Upon hearing this, Ye Junli's fingers tightened.
Old Zhang continued, "According to the investigation on Ms. Xu Wanwan, her mother, Yu Huiying, had previously worked as a nurse at the Hai City First Hospital, where she gave birth to a daughter.
On the day of the delivery, there were two other expectant mothers who also gave birth to baby girls. These two pregnant won were Mrs. Gu Qi, your wife, and Mrs. Song Jiaxi, the wife of Mr. Xiao Yongze."

Old Zhang shook his head, "I couldn't identify them. They had clearly made thorough preparations, and after following the surveillance trail into a shopping mall, all traces of them were lost."
"However, I have a hunch..." Old Zhang hesitated.
"What hunch?"
"Do you think it could be Zhen Kechuan? After all, he's a master of disguise, and the criminal investigation departnt hasn't been able to find him for years. Now that Mr. Ye Junwen is with him, could it be related to them?"
Upon hearing Old Zhang's speculation, Ye Junli felt a chill. If it really was them, what was their motive?
For the company's managent rights? But their appearance would undoubtedly attract the attention of the police, making the company's managent rights useless.
For money? Zhen Kechuan certainly wasn't short on money. And what did all this have to do with a paternity test?

Ye Jinng was sitting by Ye Jinchen's bedside, munching on an apple.
"Brother, I have only two more days until school starts, and I have to take make-up exams. It's going to be so tiring!" she whined.
Ye Jinchen tapped her head and laughed, "You're complaining even before the exams? You've been ho for two months. Aren't you well-rested enough?"
Ye Jinng grumbled, "I was recovering from my injuries, not resting."
Ye Jinchen rolled his eyes at her. "Okay, okay, Jinng is the most hardworking one. When you go back to school, study diligently and review thoroughly. If you fail even one subject, you'll be banned from eating at for a week."
Ye Jinng's eyes widened in disbelief. She was no longer her brother's beloved little treasure!
Xu Wanwan couldn't help but giggle. "Jinng, have faith in your abilities. You definitely won't have to go without at."
Ye Jinng considered this and realized it was true. The courses from last sester were too simple for her, and exams were just a "piece of cake." She imdiately cheered up and continued munching on her apple.
At that mont, Ye Junli walked in.
"You're all here!" Ye Junli greeted the group with a smile.
"Hello, Mr. Ye," Xu Wanwan responded politely.
Ye Junli looked at Xu Wanwan, his expression clouded with uncertainty.
"Dad, you're here. Isn't the company busy?" Ye Jinchen asked, sensing his father must have so important matter since he visited during working hours.
Ye Junli snapped out of his daze. "Oh, I happened to be discussing business nearby, so I stopped by to see you."
Ye Junli turned to Ye Jinng and said gently, "Good girl, Daddy forgot the fruit he brought for your brother in the trunk. Could you go get it for Daddy?"
Ye Jinng nodded, "Sure, I'll go get it."
Ye Junli stroked her head, subtly plucking a few strands of her hair and hiding them in his palm. "Good girl."
Ye Jinng felt a slight sting on her scalp but didn't think much of it. She turned and left the room.
"Wanwan, I'll go with you," Xu Wanwan said, about to follow.
"Wanwan, let her go alone. Why don't you keep us company for a bit?" Ye Junli smiled warmly.
"Yeah, Wanwan, you don't need to go with . It'll only take a few minutes. I'll be back soon," Ye Jinng chid in. "Wanwan is really clingy, isn't she? I wonder if Brother Ting will get jealous of her."
Xu Wanwan had no choice but to nod.
Ye Jinchen sensed that his father had intentionally sent Jinng away to discuss the paternity test matter. After ensuring Ye Jinng had left the room, he asked in a low voice, "Dad, have you found sothing?"
Ye Junli nodded and turned to face Xu Wanwan.
Feeling nervous under his gaze, Xu Wanwan tentatively asked, "Mr. Ye, is there sothing you want to say?"
Ye Junli sighed, "Wanwan, don't be nervous. I have sothing to tell you."
"What is it?" Xu Wanwan asked politely.
Ye Junli took out his phone, found the photo of the paternity test in his gallery, and handed it to Xu Wanwan. She widened her eyes in surprise as she accepted the phone.
"A mysterious person secretly sent this paternity test report. I had soone investigate it, and the report is genuine. However, there are doubts about your background."
"So I want to ask, would you be willing to take a paternity test with ?"
Ye Jinchen didn't expect his father to be so direct about it and gulped.
Actually, Ye Junli had initially planned to simply discuss the investigation results with Ye Jinchen and figure out how to gently break the news to Wanwan and Jinng, so they could accept it more easily.
I didn't expect to see Ye Jinng and Xu Wanwan right away. My mind instantly didn't want to drag things out any longer, but I was also afraid of hurting Ye Jinng's feelings, so I smoothly sent her away and talked to Xu Wanwan about this matter first.
Xu Wanwan had long stopped agonizing over the issue of acknowledging kinship. Just being lifelong good friends with Ye Jinng was quite nice, after all, the Ye family had treated her very well, so whether they acknowledged their kinship or not wasn't that big of a deal.
However, she didn't expect the paternity test to suddenly appear, which caught Xu Wanwan a bit off guard.
