Normally, in the first round up to 8 people can participate but what is this?

His eyes landed on Li Fan, and a slow, sinister smile spread across his chiseled features.
” Ahem* Ahem* But perhaps our dear friend Li Fan can make up for the rest of your worthless hides,” Bai Lung took a step forward with his movents that felt lithe and predatory.
” After all, we wouldn’t want to disappoint our sect, now would we? ”
Others instantly looked at Li Fan with narrow eyes, tho, BaibLung didn’t put the other four into his eyes but they were geniuses of the Blood Celestial sect.
They were at first to second stage of the Qi Grandmaster realm which is pretty good since most people below 50 are generally at Qi Beginner or few at Qi Master.
They all looked at Li Fan with eyes filled with hatred unable to fathom why this brat was praised while they were seen as trash.
Usually, they would be praised and looked up by others… But here! Sigh!
Rather than hating Bai Lung, they were hating Li Fan for taking the spotlight.
They were unable to fathom what was so special about this guy who was just at the second level of the Qi Master realm.

” Failure is not an option. We’ll do whatever it takes to secure victory even if it ans eliminating a few…’ distractions’ along the way,”
His piercing eyes swept over the group, daring anyone to challenge him.
Then, with a dismissive wave of his hand, he turned and sat in a chair waiting for the barrier array to diminish.

Li Fan was bamboozled, unable to comprehend what just happened, he thought sothing bad was about to happen but Bai Lung just went and took a seat.
While Li Fan was confused others nodded their head at Bai Lung’s words, they may be weak but failure isn’t an option, if they can eliminate a few disciples of other sects, they can gain a huge advantage.
First, the enemy sect will lose so points while they will gain so.
