Adal awoke the next morning to a knock on the doors of the Antarctica Library.
He did not rush to answer it. Instead, he cleaned himself up and headed down afterward.
Juliette was still fast asleep, tired after her first day of work.
When he arrived at the door, he noticed a figure staring through the glass window with pink eyes.
Her hair was tied up in a bun, which seed to be an uncommon style in the Iglantis Empire, but it gave space for her silver crown to sit comfortably.
Adal opened the door.
"Opal. What have I done to deserve a visit from royalty?" he joked, stepping aside for her to enter.
Opal Overlove remained where she stood. It was only then that Adal noticed the worried look in her eyes.
"Adal... It’s great to see you, but I have not co here to bring good news. My father is growing restless. It’s been a few days, and so far he has seen that the library remains closed, and the royal family is still comfortable in their palace. Until then, he does not want seeing you..."
Adal had to admit to himself that her words stumped him. He should have still had more than two weeks to deal with the royal family, according to his agreent with the King.
Why was he being rushed?
Adal let out a sigh.
"All pieces will fall into place soon, Princess," he said with confidence.
Yet Opal was not sure she believed it.
"I must leave before sobody sees and reports it to him," she said, before turning around. "The sunrise is beautiful today... I hope that soday we might enjoy it together, without anybody stopping us."
She was right. The sky looked beautiful, and the empty streets were quiet, as it was still too early for the day to begin in Antarctica.
So Adal took the chance to gently grab the back of Opal’s neck and pull her toward him.
"A-Adal?" she yelped, before suddenly being pulled into a kiss.
One hand remained around her neck, while the other dropped to the curve of her buttocks, gently kneading his fingers into her soft mounds like dough.
His tongue explored hers for a few monts before he pulled away.
Opal looked dazed, her tongue hanging slightly from her mouth. A string of saliva stretched between them before snapping.
Her eyes snapped back into focus, and suddenly she seed invigorated.
The woman looked around, worried that soone might have seen.
Adal couldn’t help but laugh.
"Don’t worry, Princess. I haven’t forgotten that you have needs as a succubus. I know that your fingers can only do so much."
Opal blushed, surprised that the man had rembered her unusual class after everything that had happened between them since they ford their connection.
She cleared her throat and wiped the drool from her lips.
"T-thank you, Adal. I hope to see your success soon."
And with that, she left the busy librarian alone to deal with the many tasks that had fallen onto his plate.
....
Once Juliette had woken up and showered, she dressed herself in her librarian outfit, looking as beautiful as ever.
Adal did the sa, and the pair stepped through the Outer Realm Gate.
They made their way downstairs, and when they arrived, both of them looked toward the door.
Despite it being an hour before opening ti, a lone woman stood outside.
Her cheeks were deeply flushed, and her hair, which was usually worn in a top bun, had now been straightened and fell to her shoulders.
Adal smiled and opened the door for her. Imdiately, he was flooded with mories of the previous night.
"Penelope, it’s great to see you."
The green-haired beauty hesitated at first, but then nodded.
"I... I am here to work," she said, her voice trailing off.
For so reason, the concept of working a job was more nerve racking than riding Adal’s eight inches, and falling unconscious for the entire night, laying in her own fluids.
"I know," Adal responded. "I left you the note, after all, since I couldn’t speak to you. I tried, but I’m sure you know why it was difficult."
Juliette listened, confused and unaware. Her friend Penny simply played with the hem of her modest dress shyly.
Adal laughed and gestured for her to co in.
"Let’s get you a change of clothes. We will be opening in less than an hour."
~~~
Thirty minutes later, Adal stood behind his counter, with two won standing before him.
Juliette and Penelope both stood there, dressed in white blouses with black dresses over them. Their curves were still on display, but the clothing was modest and presentable.
They looked distinguished and well put together. Their green and brown hair contrasted with each other, as did their personalities.
But what he liked most was the fact that both won felt indebted to him.
They admired Adal and appreciated everything he had done for them.
He could see it in their eyes and sense it in their behavior when they looked at him. Both won harbored a constant desire to please him.
Adal made them feel like no other man could.
"You both look beautiful. Juliette, if your father and ex-husband saw you right now, they would regret ever treating you the way they did. And Penelope, if your past self could see you now, she would never believe she would beco such a woman."
The pair blushed and thanked him shyly in unison.
Afterward, Adal filled them in on their tasks for the day and carefully explained that from that point onward, they worked for him, which they accepted without complaint.
Finally, he explained what they should do in his absence. After all, he had plans for the day, and perhaps for the rest of the week.
While the two won ran the library, he would be paying a visit to Lady Cho to see if she owned an Outer Realm Gate that could take him to the land of the Sun Elves.
It was ti to begin searching for Musa Desertsword.
