Chapter 767: Chapter 767 The Wind Rises_1 Chapter 767: Chapter 767 The Wind Rises_1 “`

Whoom!

A grand Formation was revealed, its seven-colored brilliance like a canopy of the heavens, enveloping three mountain peaks securely within.

Within the flowing lights, the mountains stood tall, with pavilions, terraces, and various buildings embellishing them.

Mists and vapors swirled, like floating ribbons, twining around the peaks.

Moreover, a few idly white cranes, rrily crying out, frolicked amongst the mountains.

From atop Mount Taixu, several figures erged from a grand yet ancient hall.

The leader declared loudly, “Open the mountain gates, welco the guests!”

“Open the mountain gates, welco the guests—”

As this voice spread throughout the whole Kunlun Mountain, the Mountain Protection Array also split open at that mont, like an opening gateway, warmly inviting the outside world in.

In an instant, nature’s spiritual energy, as if tangible, surged out.

Whoosh!

The sound of cleaving through the air rose sharply as beams of Sword light appeared from afar.

Disciples from various Sects, who had been waiting at a distance, flew in on Flying Swords, landing one after another in front of Mount Taixu’s Sect entrance.

“Welco, my fellow cultivators!”

Sect Master Tyrese Gill of Mount Taixu, who appeared to be only in his fifties with jet black hair and eyes sparkling with spirit, said.

Behind him stood his chief disciple, Aaron Gill, along with Jeremy Hall, Trey Hols, and others.

The first to land was Elder Cliff Simmons from the Dongxuan Sect. He clasped his hands together, laughing, “Haha, I am flattered that Sect Leader Gill has co out to et us personally, how shaful.”

“Elder Simmons, it’s been a while since you’ve been unhard.”

“Thanks to your blessings, all is well.”

Cliff Simmons smiled and, glancing at Aaron Gill beside him, raised an eyebrow and remarked with a smile, “This must be Nephew Gill, is it not? After many years, you’ve grown even more impressive than before.”

Aaron Gill, adorned in a moon-white robe, displayed his tall and graceful figure to its fullest, a warm smile on his handso face, the very image of a modest gentleman.

When faced with Cliff Simmons’ praise, he rely smiled and said nothing.

Trey Hols voiced with so speechlessness, “Uncle Simmons, the last ti you saw my junior brother, he was only ten, what sort of impressive air could he have had?”

Cliff Simmons’ smile stiffened, then he laughed heartily, “You youngster, still as honest as ever.”

Tyrese Gill gave Trey Hols a reproachful look, then turned to Cliff Simmons with a smile, “Elder Simmons, please, this way.”

“After you—”

Cliff Simmons clasped his hands again, and a disciple was already there to lead him into Mount Taixu Sect, while Tyrese Gill remained to continue welcoming the others.

The Dongxuan Sect was famous for its Formations, with individual prowess considered average among the five Sects.

This ti, apart from Cliff Simmons, they brought only a few disciples, all outstanding among the younger generation.

“Uncle, that Aaron Gill seems rather arrogant.”

“Indeed, what’s with that attitude? When our master complinted him, he didn’t even utter a word.”

Arriving at their accommodations, the disciples of Dongxuan Sect couldn’t help but complain.

Cliff Simmons furrowed his brow, speaking lightly, “It’s but a trifle of common courtesy, no need to mind it.”

He paused for a mont, then said in a low voice, “Don’t speak of things you shouldn’t, beware the walls have ears.”

The chief disciple of Dongxuan Sect, Irvin Harrison, asked, “Uncle, has that Aaron Gill really reached Foundation Establishnt?”

Cliff Simmons nodded, a grave expression on his face, “He has indeed reached Foundation Establishnt, and his realm may even be not low; I felt a bit of pressure from him just now.”

Hiss!

Hearing his words, the disciples were all taken aback.

In the era of declining magic, with the withering away of the strong, Cliff Simmons’ leading the group signified that he was the ceiling of Dongxuan Sect’s combat power.

However, even such an expert at the Late Foundation Establishnt phase felt pressure from a junior.

Therefore, Aaron Gill’s realm must at least be at the Late Foundation Establishnt!

Irvin Harrison exclaid in amazent, “Such a young cultivator at Late Foundation Establishnt, could he beco the only one to achieve Core Formation in centuries?”

“Core Formation? That’s a pipe dream.”

Cliff Simmons scoffed and said, “If Core Formation were that easy, our Sect Leader wouldn’t be in closed-door cultivation.”

Amidst the Kunlun Mountain range, atop an unnad peak, Greg Jensen stood at the edge of a cliff, gazing into the distance at the crowd in front of the Hanging Temple’s gate.

Luis Cotes stood by his side, also looking in the direction of the Hanging Temple, and said, “Xu, my friend, shall we go in?”

As they were about to enter the Hanging Temple, Teresa Cotes’s heart thumped with nervousness. Hearing her master’s words, she subconsciously looked at Greg Jensen.

Greg Jensen turned his head and looked at Luis Cotes with a half-smile, “Uncle-Master, you’ve forgotten, I am Bowen Griffin.”

Seeing him speak seriously, Luis Cotes couldn’t help but chuckle warmly, “Bowen, my nephew, you’re right. It’s Uncle-Master who misspoke.

So… Nephew Bowen, shall we go in?”

Greg Jensen smiled again, “Uncle-Master, you are wrong again. You are the leading elder for this mission. Whether we enter or not, it is not up to to decide.”

After being corrected twice by Greg Jensen, Luis Cotes felt a bit annoyed and huffed, “My dear nephew, let’s go then.”

“At Uncle-Master’s command.”

Greg Jensen smiled, mounted his Flying Sword, and swiftly carried the two away.

At this ti, in front of the gate of the Hanging Temple, only Malcolm Gill and Aaron Gill remained, as Trey Hols, Jeremy Hall, and others had already gone in to greet the guests.

Malcolm Gill’s face was void of a smile, and he frowned as he asked, “How many have arrived?”

Aaron Gill thought for a mont before answering, “Almost all the small sects are here. Of the five major ones, only the Hanging Temple and the Danxia Sect are left.”

Malcolm Gill nodded, “The Hanging Temple practices physical cultivation, filled with vigorous vitality. They must take part in the matter at hand.

As for the Danxia Sect, well, they can co if they want. Their presence isn’t crucial.”

Aaron Gill opened his mouth, as if he wanted to say sothing, but held back.

Malcolm Gill gave him a cold glance and said, “Core Formation isn’t just your affair, it’s a significant event for the entire sect.

On this matter, I do not wish for you to harbor any other thoughts. Do you understand?”

“I know, but…”

“Aaron, it’s a necessity.”

Malcolm Gill sighed and continued, “With the Rebirth of Spiritual Energy, an era of great contention is upon us. If the Hanging Temple doesn’t seize the advantage now, how can it stand unshaken in the future?”

Aaron Gill looked troubled, the struggle evident on his face.

Malcolm Gill went on, “It’s better for a few outsiders to die than for our own senior sisters and junior brothers. Your only goal in the upcoming secret mission,

is to concoct the Blood Spirit Pill, kill everyone, and then marry Louisa Burley to suppress the raging vital essence within you. Do you understand?”

Aaron Gill felt that his master was right, and his expression fird, nodding, “Master, I understand.”

Malcolm Gill nodded approvingly, about to offer a few words of encouragent, when the sound of breaking air approached once more.

His expression subtly changed, and as he looked up, his brows knitted tightly together, “When has the Danxia Sect’s Sword Control Speed beco so fast?”

Before he finished speaking, a sword light landed nearby, revealing three figures—it was Greg Jensen, Luis Cotes, and Teresa Cotes.

Malcolm Gill put on a smiling face and cordially greeted them, “Who do I see here but Elder Luis of the Danxia Sect? It’s been a while, all well lately?”

“All is well,” Luis Cotes replied flatly.

Malcolm Gill was unfazed and turned to Teresa Cotes with a look of pleasant surprise, “Oh my, how Teresa has grown. Would you be interested in marrying into our Hanging Temple?”
