Chapter 1999: Chapter 1992: Demonization

After a round of playful banter, the atmosphere lightened considerably. Bai Xiaotian comforted Gu Hualing, saying, “Don’t worry, Brother Lu is a fortunate person, nothing will happen to him. With the three of us here, how can we not rescue him?”

Gu Hualing’s pale face was already much better than the day before, showing a hint of a smile as she nodded.

Shen Luo raised his hand and waved, and a blue-green flying boat appeared before him, adorned with cloud patterns and faintly covered by a layer of shimring light, indicating it was no ordinary item.

“This is the Spirit Flying Ship gifted by the National Master, said to reach the Northern Ju Lu Continent in seven days. There’s not much ti left for your recovery on the journey, focus on healing your wounds,” Shen Luo said.

“Okay,” Gu Hualing nodded.

With that, the three of them boarded the ship and set off with the wind, transforming into a streak of light, disappearing beyond the horizon.

Ti swiftly passed, and it was now the seventh day.

Shen Luo and the others were traveling aboard the Spirit Flying Ship amidst the high-altitude clouds, with the Northern Ju Lu Continent already in sight.

“Things don’t look too optimistic,” Shen Luo stood at the bow of the ship, hesitantly remarked.

Bai Xiaotian’s brow was furrowed, a look of worry etched on his face.

A few thousand feet away before them, pitch-black clouds churned in the high altitudes, enveloping thousands of miles of sky, from which waves of dense demonic Qi and intense bloodthirsty aura emanated.

Gu Hualing, who had been ditating with closed eyes, slowly opened them, looked over, and said in surprise:

“When I escaped from here a while ago, it wasn’t like this. It seems now the entire Northern Ju Lu Continent has been tainted by demonic Qi and is starting to overflow.”

“The situation might be far worse than we anticipated. We need to brace ourselves for fierce battles,” Shen Luo sighed.

In the midst of the conversation, there ca a sudden clamor from below the sea of clouds. Shen Luo controlled the flying boat to descend below the clouds, only to see hundreds of demon creatures on a black-painted ferry, breaking through sea waves heading outward.

“Why are these guys crossing the sea? Could it be they aim to invade another continent?” Shen Luo hesitantly asked.

“No matter their intent, let’s go down and take them out. Interrogate a leader and we’ll know everything,” Bai Xiaotian said.

“No, we’re here to rescue soone, we can’t alarm the enemy,” Shen Luo shook his head.

“That bunch looks like a haphazard crowd. The leader, the Bear Demon, seems to have the highest cultivation level, but only around the Late True Immortal Stage. We can handle them with ease and discreetly sans exposure,” Bai Xiaotian chuckled.

Shen Luo was still hesitating, thinking that such a large contingent mysteriously disappearing would surely alert the Demon Clan.

“After all, so many days have passed, no one knows where Lu Huaming is now. When we land at the Northern Ju Lu Continent, we’ll need soone to query, isn’t snagging one from these below easier?” Bai Xiaotian continued seeing Shen Luo still hesitated.

Concern brings disarray; with Lu Huaming’s life at stake, Shen Luo was indeed a bit too tense.

“What do you think?” Shen Luo asked Gu Hualing.

“I think Bai Daoist friend is right,” Gu Hualing nodded.

“Alright, then let’s do it,” Shen Luo exhaled, speaking.

“You co with ; I’ll first take control, then you strike to kill. Can we finish in ten breaths?” Bai Xiaotian asked.

“As long as you can hold control, that should be no problem,” Shen Luo was sowhat surprised, responding.

“Watch ,” Bai Xiaotian chuckled, his form leaping downward.

His figure turned into a golden light, plumting straight towards the sea surface.

The demon creatures on the pitch-black ferry were imrsed in the joy of setting out, suddenly perceiving an ominous shadow descending from above. As they looked up, they saw a ten-feet-tall Golden Body Warrior from the sky, falling onto them.

“Enemy attack!” The Bear Demon was first to notice sothing amiss, shouting loudly.

Yet before his voice could cease, the Golden Body Warrior had landed on the ship. At the mont of impact, a burst of golden light erupted around it, transforming into a massive, translucent Golden Bell, enveloping the entire ferry.

“Buzz”

As the Golden Bell enveloped them, a heavy bell toll echoed.

The sound remained within the bell, not projecting outside.

The demon crowd on the ferry suddenly felt as if their chests were struck by a mountain; those of weaker cultivation imdiately had their organs shattered, becoming a ss, and collapsing dead.

The remaining True Immortal Stage demons weren’t dead yet but were heavily shocked, unable to move for a while.

Shen Luo promptly landed, his Pure Yang Flying Sword shot forth, splitting into nurous golden sword shadows, comncing the slaughter on the ferry, annihilating all remaining demons, leaving only the Bear Demon leader.

Watching the desolate corpses filling the ship, the Bear Demon trembled in fear, unable to stand.

“Didn’t I say to settle the battle within ten breaths?” Bai Xiaotian remarked.

Shen Luo, speechless, stepped forward to the Bear Demon.

“Who are you? What do you want?” The Bear Demon was terrified, still asking.

Shen Luo neither answered nor questioned, simply flashed forward in front of the Bear Demon, and before he could react, pointed straight ahead, pressing it against his forehead.

The Bear Demon flipped his eyes and fell into slumber.

Shen Luo searched its soul, revealing mories showing that prior to this team, a large number of the Demon Clan had crossed the sea. The entire Northern Ju Lu Continent had been completely demonized, their current target being the Eastern Victorious Divine Continent.

As Shen Luo watched, his expression abruptly changed, as he unexpectedly found Lu Huaming among the demons crossing the sea on expedition.

However, in the Bear Demon’s mory fragnts, Lu Huaming had disheveled hair, pitch-black eyes, his brow seemingly cut, exposing flesh, grafted with strange demonic patterns.

A mont later, Shen Luo slowly opened his eyes, raised his hand, and dealt a fatal blow atop the Bear Demon’s head, eradicating it completely, soul and all.

Subsequently, he swung his hand, igniting the Pure Yang fire, quickly engulfing the entire ferry, consuming everything, leaving no ashes behind.

Bai Xiaotian then withdrew the Golden Bell, the duo leaped up, returning to the cloud sea flying ship.

“The Northern Ju Lu Continent is completely demonized, these demons crossing the sea are heading to attack the Eastern Victorious Divine Continent. I saw Lu Huaming in the mory fragnts; it seems he’s already controlled by the Demon Clan, apparently in a leader-like role, having now also gone to the Eastern Victorious Divine Continent,” Shen Luo shared the explored information with the other two.

“This is good news. The Eastern Victorious Divine Continent has the Flower Fruit Mountain of the Victorious Fighting Buddha; it won’t be easily overwheld in a short while. We can go there to rescue Lu Huaming, which is much more convenient than in the Northern Ju Lu Continent,” Bai Xiaotian smiled.

“Indeed,” Shen Luo nodded.

“Then we shouldn’t delay, let’s head to the Eastern Victorious Divine Continent imdiately,” Gu Hualing promptly stated.

“Alright,” Shen Luo responded, imdiately maneuvering the Spirit Flying Ship, flying swiftly toward the Eastern Victorious Divine Continent.
