Chapter 21: Chapter 21 The Young Man in the Garden_1 Chapter 21: Chapter 21 The Young Man in the Garden_1 “Holy shit!

What’s the deal with you, you little monster!

Are you sent from heaven to punish ?!”

Qin Yuze, having no other choice, also grasped the vines, hoping to climb over the wall like Susu.

But he quickly discovered that climbing walls is no easy feat.

Qin Yuze struggled imnsely, taking a long ti just to climb two or three deciters up.

Qin Yuze muttered with difficulty, “This little monster!

A hundred percent monster!”

Right after he spoke, the vine broke, and Qin Yuze fell straight to the ground, landing on his butt…

The pain in his butt and the hurt in his heart gave him a double blow.

“Ow…

I…” Qin Yuze felt like crying…

###

Inside the gate, Susu had already safely landed on the ground.

She looked around but didn’t see Hu Zi anywhere.

Seeing a figure in the distance, Susu walked toward it.

The villa’s garden was beautiful, filled with flowers everywhere—roses of various kinds, hydrangeas, begonias, orchids…

As she got closer, Susu could see the person in the garden clearly.

It was a young boy.

Bright, deep eyes, thick and long eyelashes, a high nose bridge, elegant contours…

His nearly perfect features combined in a way that was very pleasant to the eye.

Just that his brows seed to be veiled with a thin mist of drizzle.

Susu was sowhat stunned; she thought the boy was very handso!

So Susu stepped forward and complinted him, “You are really good-looking.”

Susu was never stingy with her praise for the beautiful things.

Lu Zhanyu had already noticed the little girl.

Her fine, soft hair was tied into twin ponytails, wearing a cotton T-shirt and capri pants.

One foot was wearing a shoe, and the other was just in a sock, with the shoe nowhere to be found.

One foot was higher than the other, she walked with a limp, awkwardly moving through the garden.

Hearing the girl’s smile-filled complint about his looks, Lu Zhanyu didn’t smile but asked in a very light tone, “Didn’t you see I am sitting in a wheelchair?”

At his words, Susu looked down at Lu Zhanyu’s wheelchair.

“I see it now,” Susu replied.

“And you still think I’m good-looking?” Lu Zhanyu asked calmly and coldly.

It was like a cold wind blowing from the edge of a steep cliff, chilling yet carrying a sense of desolation.

Although he looked like a little boy of eight or nine, he exuded a profound sense of world-weariness.

“Good-looking is good-looking, what does it have to do with what you’re sitting on?

You don’t have to doubt it!

If I say sothing is good-looking, then it must be super good-looking!

I normally don’t complint people’s looks!”

Susu, afraid that the boy in front of her would lack confidence, even made a special emphasis.

The innocence in Susu’s deanor and her bright eyes left Lu Zhanyu montarily dazed.

“I can’t walk,”

Lu Zhanyu thought Susu didn’t fully understand what sitting in a wheelchair really ant.

“It doesn’t matter!

You’re still good-looking even if you can’t walk!”

“Forget it,” Lu Zhanyu didn’t want to quibble over these details with a little girl anymore and instead asked about her reasons for being there, “How did you get in?”

“Climbed over the wall.”

“Climbed over the wall?” Lu Zhanyu furrowed his handso brows in skepticism, looking every bit the adult.

Lu Zhanyu was very aware of how high his family’s walls were; could a little girl climb over them?

“Sure, I’m very good at climbing trees!” Susu was confident and proud of her tree-climbing skills.

“So what are you here for?” Lu Zhanyu asked again.

“Looking for Hu Zi, it climbed over the wall too.”

“Hu Zi?

Is that your pet?”
