One of the advisors imdiately said, "I have four clients in need of gold ores, two of which are from our Sambo family. Young Master Adelle, if there are samples, I can inquire about the prices right away."

"For example, I want to solve the transportation problem."

Another advisor imdiately said, "Young Master Adelle, I have connections with twelve shipping agencies, and we can develop the most suitable transportation plan in the fastest ti."

"For example, I want to prepare a gold ore refining factory."

Yet another advisor stood up, "Young Master Adelle, I have evaluation reports on the pros and cons of various gold ore refining technologies. You can take a look at them."

"Hear that?" Adelle said with a smile, "This is business. Information that may take others months or even years to gather can be obtained here in an instant. So information they might never obtain, or by the ti they do, it would be too late."

Turning his face, Adelle said, "Tell about the expected price trend of dwarf slaves next."

"Understood, Young Master Adelle." One of the advisors quickly opened his notebook and said, "From last year to this year, the number of dwarf slaves imported by various slave markets in Hilde increased by ten percent, and sales decreased by five percent. The overall price of dwarf slaves dropped by seven percent this year. It is expected to continue to decline next year. According to the cycle, if there is no major change in demand, prices will rise again the year after next."

"Listen up. This is the winning strategy of the Sambo family. They provide all kinds of information and suggestions. Of course, the final decision must be made by yourself." Patting Jones on the shoulder, Adelle said, "Co, I’ll teach you how to use this advisory team."

...

Just as Jones was marveling at the advisory team of the Sambo family, Adolf had already returned to the hotel.

It was a simple hotel in Hilde. Four floors, gray and white, sowhat old buildings, with a barbarian slave guarding the entrance.

Seeing Adolf, the barbarian slave hurriedly bowed respectfully.

Nodding, Adolf walked past him.

In Hilde, there are many such hotels. Generally speaking, upper-class Blood Clan mbers would not stay in such places, not even elves. Only passing caravans would stay here.

Buildings lacking maintenance, noisy environnts, uncultured guests, almost every corner is in disarray. Most of everyone’s clothing was cheap fabric, either gray or brown, with very few bright colors. Dressed in a suit, Adolf was particularly conspicuous.

"Young Master Adolf, you’re back?" The one-eyed goblin owner, leaning on a cane, smiled at Adelle from the stairs.

"Yes, just got back, and I’m going to my room. Make sure no one disturbs ."

"Understood, no one will disturb you."

Walking past the goblin owner, Adolf walked up the stairs step by step, all the way up to the fourth floor, turning towards the room on the east side, gently twisting the handle, and walked in.

...

Outside the hotel, at the corner of the street, several cloaked Blood Clan mbers were watching the hotel from a distance.

One of the Blood Clan mbers softly said, "Fourth floor, the room on the east side."

"How do we get in? Go directly up from the first floor?" another Blood Clan mber asked.

"I’m afraid not. Our orders are to see what he’s doing. If we go directly up from the first floor... the third floor and above are restricted areas. If we break in, we’ll create too much noise, and he’ll quickly realize."

"Then we can only go in from the window, break in. It’s just passing through a curtain, and then we can see what he’s doing."

"Let’s do that. Rember, don’t harm him. We’re just looking to see what exactly he’s up to inside, and why he’s been in there for so long."

"Do we need to prepare a getaway excuse? Like mistaking the person?"

"No need, there’s no instruction on that."

"Okay, understood."

In total, four Blood Clan mbers. They all transford into bats and flew towards the hotel.

...

All the curtains were drawn.

In the candle-lit room, Adolf dipped his finger in so charcoal, quickly drawing so kind of pattern on the floor in the center of the room.

The pattern was particularly intricate, like all sorts of geotric shapes piled together with so kind of tadpole-like text along the edges.

Adolf seed very skilled. In a mont, the extrely complex pattern was completed. Flicking off the remaining charcoal from his fingers, he gestured with his left hand in the air, recited an incantation, and a magic wand instantly appeared in his hand.

The magic wand gently touched the edge of the pattern, and suddenly, the black pattern drawn with charcoal emitted a strange light.

A faint, electrical sound was heard, and a portal slowly opened above the pattern.

...

"Three, two, one! Go!"

A piercing sound of shattering glass.

Four bats simultaneously slamd into the closed window of the hotel. In an instant, the window’s glass shattered, and the four bats rushed into the room, transforming into human form on the ground.

However...

"Huh? What’s going on?"

The room was empty.

Yes, completely empty. No magic array on the ground, nothing at all, and no Adolf. It was as if Adolf had never returned.

The four Blood Clan mbers stared at each other.

One of them hurriedly pushed open the door to check the room number, discovering they hadn’t gotten the wrong room.

That made them even more puzzled.

...

At the sa mont, in another corner of the continent.

Underground.

The dim and oppressive space, with rock walls twisted like giant tree roots. On the rock walls were nurous faint blue, gem-like spherical objects, emitting a soft and dim light, looking as if they naturally grew from the rock walls.

Inside each sphere, a person was sleeping. So were n, so won, so were middle-aged, and others children. Among them, children were the most nurous.

Countless children, each curled up, eyes closed, quietly lying within the spherical objects.

In the center of the space, there was a round platform covered with runes.

A portal opened on the platform, and Adolf stepped out. The portal imdiately closed behind him.

Muttering an incantation, he stretched out his hand, and a stone pillar rose from the ground. At the top of the pillar, a pale blue, translucent magic book appeared out of thin air.

Bowing his head, he began to silently flip through the book, seemingly searching for sothing.

In the anti, around him, nurous small stone pillars rose from the platform’s ground. Based on their heights, they ford tables, chairs, and even walls. It looked like a room, but this room had no roof, and the walls were incomplete.

"Are you still approaching the Lich King’s adopted son?"

A voice sounded.

A cloud of blue glistening mist appeared beside him, forming a human face. It was an old man’s face, with a high nose bridge, a beard, and piercing eyes.

"Yes," Adolf replied while flipping through the book, "I’m still approaching him. Although it may not be exactly as we anticipated, it should be useful. Just not as useful as we imagined."

"Why insist on him?" the blue face softly asked, "We have many other choices. The Lich King has more than just this one person around him."

"But he’s the only Blood Clan mber. Approaching others carries risk of exposure, while approaching a Blood Clan mber does not. After all, the Bloodline Ancestor already knows of our existence, and Blood Clan itself is the failed product of our Krimasha human improvent plan. Even if sothing goes wrong, they will help us erase the traces. We have kept this secret for ten thousand years. Any reason is not enough to expose us before the Awakening Day. Otherwise... these ten thousand years would be wasted."
