Xu Xinduo glanced at the scars on Qiao Nian’s body and suddenly closed her mouth.

“Is it sothing you should care about?”
“It wasn’t Tong Yukai who made bankrupt.”

He stole my woman and he wasn’t going to help anyways, so I said a few things that might have pissed him off. Besides, Tong Yukai is not a good person anyways, but Yin Hua believed that he was willing to do anything for her.”
Xu Xinduo knew that the relationship between Tong Yukai and Qiao Nian was complicated at that ti. She even felt that Tong Yukai was a little inauthentic.
Tong Yukai pursued Yin Hua generously as he couldn’t care less about the fact that Yin Hua and Qiao Nian were secretly in love. He probably already knew about the duo’s relationship, but he just pretended that he was unaware of it. Then, he sent Yin Hua flowers, invited her to dinner, even investing in movies and TV series for her.
Tong Yukai seed to be a re investor at first as he did bet a lot of money on Qiao Nian. Yin Hua only knew about it after so ti had passed.
At this ti, the chain of interest between Qiao Nian and Tong Yukai was already very deep. It was also not sothing that could be broken off that easily.
Qiao Nian endured Tong Yukai’s blatant pursuit at first; he could reluctantly accept it as long as Tong Yukai continued to invest.
Yin Hua bluntly stated that Tong Yukai was her ex-boyfriend and she didn’t want to get back together with him. However, Qiao Nian expressed that Tong Yukai was doing it for Yin Hua’s well-being, as he hoped that Yin Hua could take on more dramas.
This was the point of conflict between Yin Hua and Qiao Nian.
The summary of the situation was also basically the extent of the knowledge she had about Tong Yan’s parents.
Xu Xinduo didn’t know how Tong Yukai turned the tide in the later period. In her opinion, it was a dead end. It would be odd for Yin Hua to not hate Tong Yukai, so how did the two end up getting married instead?
Xu Xinduo couldn’t help but be confused, “Why are you telling this?”
“I’m only telling you because I feel guilty towards what I did to you,” Qiao Nian scratched his cheek with his fingers as he looked towards the gate. He continued, “I was crazy at that ti— I had everything I wanted and more, so to lose all of that in a single mont, I went insane. I only had one thought in mind, and that is if I was in a bad situation, no one deserves to be happy either.”
This kind of madness was similar to Mu Qingyao’s.
Xu Xinduo looked at Qiao Nian and suddenly laughed. He then said, “You don’t seem to know your ex-girlfriend.”
Qiao Nian felt strange when he heard her reaction, so he asked, “What?”
“She’s a very smart woman; a research is sufficient to know the things you said.”
“That’s why I produced a lot of evidence that is enough for her to believe .”
