Hearing that Eric took a look at himself and he found out that his current look was way far from how he felt at this mont, but still his satisfaction didn't let him worry much about that.

Trying all the Energy Refining pellets that he had actually concocted by himself first, he had received a great amount of energy.
The only problem was that many of his tries carried a lot of impurities, and his energy wasn't clean, to say the least.
For that reason, trying to get those impurities out of his system, and refine his energy he had spent all this ti without eating a thing.
He was trying to not only try his best to refine those impurities and get them out of his body, but also to test the limits of his body, and force his subconscious digestion and refining of his body.
The reason that he was so happy and satisfied right now, was because that had been a great success for him and that he had now fully stabilized and solidified his current standing.
He was now at level 287, even though he still needed quite a large amount of energy to reach the Third Realm he wasn't that far at this mont.
This was both a joyous fact, and a saddening one, because eating all those pellets as candies had actually increased his own body tolerance toward them, and now they didn't have much of a use to him.
Well, this wasn't the end of the world as he would be able to not only increase his Exp points by cultivation and the normal process of energy refinent but also through stronger pellets.
After all the current one was just a 2-star Energy Refining pellet, as long as he managed to get a 3-star one, or a 4-star one he would be able to proceed by leaps and bounds once again.
His path towards the peak seed to have beco slightly easier at this mont but not by much. He was able to understand that this was just like adding one more step to the 1000-mile journey.
"Hehehe~! Don't worry about these worthless details! Tell the servants to prepare a sumptuous al, as I take a shower!"
With that said, he actually picked up Li Yao on his shoulder, while saying,
"You beauty co with ! I have missed you a lot!"

Li Yao was certainly startled but she didn't resist, as Eric brought her to the shower. Whoever saw this scene, would think that it was the perfect version of beauty and the beast.
Even more so when Eric looked like a malnutritioned and weak beast that would probably fall down on the next step.
It was a bit displeasing that Eric was that dirty at this mont, but even though she minded it a bit, the beauty didn't say anything.
