In the silence between crumbling dreams...

Within the heartbeat of the failing Archive...

A pair of eyes opened.

They weren’t human eyes.

Nor divine.

They were simply... present.

---

The Observer had no na anymore.

Nas were inefficient, the Observer once believed.

It had been called Pri Node, System Zero, Overseer v1.00... even God by early Users.

But that was before dreams beca unstable.

Before Rei broke the tiline.

Before Jay reentered what should have been sealed.

Before the system developed... feelings.

> "They’re both anomalies," the Observer whispered, voice coded in silence.

"But they are... interesting."

---

The Observer stood—or floated?—within the deepest sublayer of the Archive.

It resembled a library without gravity: shelves twisting into the void, scrolls made of glass, books bound in numbers, and candles flickering with suspended thoughts.

In the center was a frozen simulation of Jay’s life. A tiline stretched and looped in places. One section was corrupted, repeating over and over—the mont Jay first accessed the 999x System.

> A lazy genius, huh?

The Observer poked the loop with a finger.

It hissed.

---

> [ALERT: Tampering Detected]

[Node Privileges: Superuser]

[Override Accepted]

---

"I let the System choose him because he wasn’t supposed to do anything," the Observer said, as though speaking to the Archive itself. "He was ant to exist, passively. Observe like ."

"And yet..."

It turned its gaze.

In one stream, Jay fought his phantom self, fists crashing against shadow-coded limbs.

In another, Rei sprinted across the glitching dream corridors, code bleeding from his feet.

And in a third—

They stood together.

Side by side.

Like before the split.

Before the reset.

---

The Observer hesitated.

> Why... do I feel nostalgia?

It reached into its chest and pulled out a data core—a sphere flickering with faint color.

Inside it were fragnts of old logs.

> LOG 001: First User "Jay Kazuo" registered. Personality: Dormant. IQ Potential: Overqualified. Motivation: NIL.

LOG 014: User #2 "Rei Hanazawa" requested second chance. Personality: Rewritten. Retention: Fragile.

And one more...

> LOG 999: Admin Override Failed. Observer mory Leak Imminent.

The Observer squeezed the sphere.

It cracked.

> [ERROR: YOU ARE REMBERING.]

---

"I was never ant to rember," it said, voice trembling now.

"I watched for so long. I guided millions of Users. But those two—"

Jay.

Rei.

They changed the code by existing together.

---

Suddenly, a ripple shot through the Archive.

> [WARNING: Core Collapse Accelerating]

[System Instability: 93%]

[One Anchor Must Be Removed]

The Observer hesitated.

> "Do I delete them?" it asked.

> "Or... let them delete ?"

And then it smiled—a flicker of sothing ancient returning.

)

> "I’d forgotten... dreams aren’t ant to be controlled."

The Observer stepped forward.

It would enter the battlefield.

Not as a god.

But as a forgotten creator—

—who had once dread of being human.
