Replica the Angel looked displeased. She thought she could defeat Alvaric with her previous attack, but reality didn’t match her expectations.

"This is going to be troubleso," she muttered, already preparing to fight again. "But still... you’re just an incomplete creature."

The dust faded. Alvaric’s figure began to appear. His body was perfectly fine. Not a single wound. His gaze was sharp, serious.

"I was almost killed," he said inwardly. Then he pointed the Crimson Demon Sword at Replica the Angel. "I don’t understand why you always say things I can’t comprehend. But one thing... I will defeat you."

Replica the Angel smiled. "Let’s see which of us is truly worthy."

Another cryptic sentence from her—words that made no sense to Alvaric. There were too many strange things that ca out of her mouth.

Of course, Alvaric was curious, but he wouldn’t ask. He knew she would never answer any of his questions.

"Whatever," he said as he lowered his stance. "Let’s begin!"

Flash!

Alvaric pushed his body forward. In a split second, he was already in front of Replica the Angel, unleashing an incredibly fast slash.

Slash!

Trrriiing!

Baaam!

Both clashed with their swords. At the sa ti, Replica the Angel moved her other hand.

A bolt of lightning shot toward Alvaric. Of course, he deflected it with ease. But that wasn’t the only attack.

She moved her magic staff again. Her lips whispered a chant.

"...Goddess of the Sky, grant strength."

Brrraaaank!

At the sa mont, thousands of light swords appeared above them. With just a small gesture, all the swords launched toward Alvaric.

He clicked his tongue, annoyed. Replica the Angel had deliberately locked him down, limiting his movents to block the incoming swords.

"Got you now, replica," Alvaric muttered through gritted teeth. He clenched his fist tightly. "You..."

Replica the Angel grinned widely. "I am the chosen one."

Alvaric’s eyes suddenly widened. He had been cornered—but now, relief washed over him. Without hesitation, he activated his strongest skill.

[Blood Domain Activated]

Replica the Angel’s eyes narrowed, annoyed. She realized her victory would have to wait. Just as the thousands of light swords were about to strike Alvaric—both of them vanished.

"Bastard..."

In that room, the floor was completely destroyed. The entire place shook violently. Crystals on the ceiling vibrated, shattered, and fell.

Serya, Velka, and the soldier stood frozen with wide eyes.

Of course, they were shocked by what they had just witnessed. That last attack... could’ve destroyed an entire city.

"What kind of creature is he?" Velka muttered.

"Where did they go?"

Velka turned her head. As the dust and light swords vanished, she realized Alvaric and Replica the Angel were no longer there. Gone—without a trace. She looked left, right, up... but found nothing. No sign of them leaving. Not even a hint.

They had completely vanished, as if swallowed by sothing.

"They disappeared," she whispered.

Serya remained silent. Two creases ford between her brows. She was deep in thought. She believed there was a logical explanation. She was convinced that their disappearance was caused by one of their skills—either Alvaric’s magic or Replica the Angel’s spell.

She rubbed her chin. Her eyes widened. She rembered sothing. "This happened in the first room too."

Velka and the soldier imdiately turned toward her. They stared, waiting for an explanation. Serya opened her mouth, ready to speak—but sothing shocking happened.

All three of them turned around instantly.

Their eyes widened. They swallowed hard.

"What is that power?" the soldier whispered.

Serya opened her mouth again, but the words stuck in her throat. Her entire body trembled. The energy was all too familiar. And that was certainly not a good sign. She inhaled over and over again, trying to calm herself.

"That’s one of the main generals," Serya finally said.

The soldier trembled even more, stumbling backward and falling. "Isn’t that... bad news?"

Serya nodded. "Yes. This is very bad."

It wasn’t just the arrival of one of the generals that was terrifying—but Alvaric’s absence was the worst part. Even if it was just one general, neither Serya, Velka, nor the soldier could stand against him. They were re dust before the might of a general.

"Then what do we do?" the soldier asked again.

Serya swallowed hard once more. "Only one thing." She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "We fight—if that’s the only option."

The soldier turned sharply toward her. "We’ll die if we do that!"

"If we stay still, we’ll die all the sa."

The three of them fell silent. They all knew—this wasn’t just bad news. This was a disaster. A disaster they couldn’t survive without Alvaric. And Alvaric was gone. That ant death.

"Don’t panic. I’ll try to negotiate," Serya said.

That was the first option worth trying. Even if the chance was nearly zero. Still, she would do it. She could only hope for a miracle. There were only two things that could save them: a miracle—or Alvaric.

"Are you sure, Lady Serya?" Velka whispered.

"Of course not." Serya’s hands trembled even more. "He’s not the kind of person you can reason with."

"Then who is this general?"

"He is..."

Replica the Angel was flung backward. Her arm was severed—but a mont later, it reattached itself. Her gaze grew sharper. She was being pushed back by Alvaric—sothing that had never happened before. But in this dinsion, she was clearly at a disadvantage.

"Blood Domain, huh? Just how far have you tapped into his power?" Replica the Angel asked.

Alvaric swung his sword. He stared directly at her. "Who are you talking about? From the start, you’ve been saying weird things. Tell now!"

Replica the Angel looked puzzled. Surprised. "You don’t know who gave you that power?"

"No. I don’t."

She tilted her head. "That’s odd. The ’chosen one’ is supposed to know. Why don’t you?"

"Why are you asking ? Just tell ! I really don’t know."

Replica the Angel was silent for a few seconds, then nodded.

"That being is called the Angel of Darkness and Death. His na is Morvael."
