Buzz!
William, whose physical body was thoroughly shattered and devoured, heard a strong ringing in his ears.
But it wasn’t too painful,
as the darkness in front of his eyes quickly turned into a hazy gray fog,
William abruptly awoke on a wire bed covered with dirty sheets, his brain feeling like it had been mashed into pulp, needing to sit on the edge of the bed to gather his wits.
Yet a smile played on his lips.
"As expected, once the physical body dies in the high-rise, the spirit arrives at the Lighthouse ntal Hospital. I’m starting to gradually understand so of the rules within the First Disaster."
Wearing a striped hospital gown, William walked to the door, discovering that the iron door of the ward was completely locked. Just as he was about to use his ability for a brute-force solution,
the nurse t his eyes through the window in the door.
"You need to rest a bit;
leaving now could leave irreparable trauma within your thoughts."
William pointed to his own "It’s okay, my brain is quite amazing. Trauma doesn’t exist~ Don’t be fooled by how I look;
I possess a Thought Hall, just like this ntal hospital.
However, the state it presents is another scene. Would the young lady like to take a look? Maybe we should have a deeper exchange."
William hadn’t even finished speaking before the other side left.
He could only pry the door open with a tumor, continuing to stare at the young lady who had returned to the nurse’s station with eager eyes,
changing from his hospital gown into a dark suit fitting for the current area, tying his hair into a bun with a rubber band, intending to attract her attention with a handso appearance.
But just as he reached the nurse’s station and was about to rest his elbow upon it,
Buzz!
The scene in front of him changed instantly,
his elbow plunging directly into a freshly brewed cup of hot coffee, scalding William sharply.
The shattered physical body had already reconstituted, returning to the high-rise lobby.
"How annoying, can’t I even flirt..."
William had no intention of stopping, getting up again to head towards the [stairway],
this ti going to the entrance labeled "storeroom",
inside corresponding to a giant village,
where each villager’s house had a basent and a secret room, preserving various rusty, old, or damaged experintal instrunts, piled with many brain-related draft docunts.
Mostly gibberish, it was difficult to glean any useful information from these abandoned plans.
And the villagers here were very simple,
each head showing signs of craniotomy, filled with various instrunts, keeping smiles, and would run towards outsiders frenziedly upon seeing them.
Though the strength of the villagers was far below the Manager from the sewers, when William attempted to kill so villagers, the village would sound a bell, and the Village Chief would appear.
With just one slap, he turned William into mince,
his consciousness returning once more to the ntal hospital,
still without any fatigue or intention to stop and rest, imdiately seeking out the young lady at the counter, much to her annoyance.
And so, over and over,
constantly being killed, continually entering the ntal hospital, trying to converse with the young lady nurse, and then being pulled back to the physical body by an invisible force.
It seed the First Disaster intentionally avoided William having too much contact with this mysterious nurse.
After experiencing roughly twenty such cycles,
Ruben, imrsed in brain research and Moon Transformation Disease developnt, finally found it unbearable, eting William once again in the dieval mansion.
"Can’t you take a break?"
"Boss, you know , I can’t sit still! I’ve been restless ever since I ca here two years ago, always wanting to accomplish sothing for the organization.
My Madness Brain has long evolved to discard the aningless function of ’sleep’, in a state of constant excitent around the clock.
Otherwise, how could I have just ascended as a disaster and established such a perfect paradise?
How about giving access to the library and archives in the high-rise? You know I love reading, I promise I won’t bother you again.
Moreover, I have a certain level of research in science, dicine, especially brain science, and Lorrian is considered a friend of mine! If you need my help in the research and combination with Lorrian, I’m always ready to assist."
Slap!
A hand full of scorch marks grasped William’s throat, lifting him entirely into the air, "Since you’re so bored, let’s keep you in your previous state and awaken you before action starts."
Not fully trusting William, Ruben naturally wouldn’t give more access, nor release him just because he’s causing trouble.
Right now, he just wanted to communicate well with the Lorrian inside him without disturbance before the Great Annihilation ca. This William, like a cockroach causing trouble everywhere, was simply too annoying.
Sizzle! The scene flickered.
William was taken once more to the deepest part of the ntal hospital, the ward crawling with cockroaches.
Sothing unseen floated behind Ruben, swoosh!
William’s limbs were severed, making him into a human stick again,
the remaining body placed on a special chair, donned with a specially made helt, and various syringes inserted into the brain, plugging into the materialized ’Madness Brain’.
William’s eyes quickly dimd, and his body no longer struggled.
At this mont, a nurse holding a record book walked in, the last column of the book bearing the na William Behrens and today’s admission ti.
Ruben also signed his na in the last column as per procedure, indicating this patient was authorized by him to be detained here.
"Another week of hospitalization? My workload will increase a lot," the nurse complained.
"Thank you for your hard work."
Ruben turned and disappeared from the current area, apparently very trusting in the detention mode of the Lighthouse ntal Hospital.
After several dozen consecutive sickening harassnts, plus William’s identity as a disaster elevating caution, the young lady nurse took out a most special sedative from her pocket and injected it directly into the back of William’s neck.
The powerful dicine even interfered with the hidden Brain Hole, causing it to stop spinning.
Locking the door and leaving, checking the room every hour.
Such a detention indeed had no loopholes, William in his current state could not possibly escape. .
But this was exactly the effect William wanted to achieve.
As his true consciousness completely subrged, the "backup chanism" belonging to Art passively activated, precisely the trait of the clown virus.
Once the main body is deed dead or in a similar state,
the main consciousness will randomly transfer to a nearby ’virus infector’.
anwhile,
at an underground club developed by William, a woman on stage sharing today’s humor suddenly convulsed, stopping abruptly at the climax of the joke.
The fan club mbers below, ready to mock this person’s mistake, imdiately realized sothing, all kneeling and bowing their heads, calling:
"Teacher!"
The woman lightly lifted her hair, using sharp strands to slice open her index finger, using the blood as lipstick, applying it in a full circle, then placed the index finger vertically on her lips, signaling everyone to be quiet.
A deeply seductive yet William-like voice emitted from between her lips:
"Pretend I never appeared, you all may go about freely~"
The woman walked down the stage, changing into a black strapless dress, completely covering her face with black hair to form this common horror movie hairstyle.
With a poised posture and graceful gait, mimicking Principal Desline’s deanor, she walked out of the underground club, above which corresponded to an operating accessory store.
Buying herself a crystal skull ring to wear, she then headed to the nearest chain hotel.
