The arrival of the Qiao Brothers was just the beginning; many more supplies were sent over later. The village chief knew these people were important figures, and he was incredibly excited. Surely, this little girl is a lucky star, and he has a feeling that their village will get better and better!
So, with a grand gesture, the village chief drove out one of the pigs ready for slaughter and gave it to Qiao Qiqi, asking her to treat the brothers.
At this ti, Rong Yun was live streaming, and everyone knew Qiao Qiqi was his sister. He had nothing to hide, so he generously showcased his beautiful and intelligent sister to everyone.
Right then, Qiao Qiqi was staring at the pig sent by the village chief, deep in thought.
Rong Yun’s livestream still had quite a lot of viewers. An old fan imdiately noticed Qiao Qiqi’s expression while looking at the pig and shouted out, "Is the scene of the beautiful girl slaughtering a pig going to be replayed?!"
Qiao Qiqi certainly wasn’t going to handle it personally this ti, but to thank the village chief for his enthusiasm, she planned to throw a big dinner for everyone in the village tonight.
Although the villagers were many, the supplies brought by the brothers and those she brought herself were more than enough.
Upon hearing this, the village chief happily ran to the broadcast station to announce the news to everyone!
The village chief would say a sentence, and An’an would echo it from behind, with the voices of the old and young ringing out from the village’s loudspeakers, carrying a unique humor.
The villagers hadn’t been this happy for a long ti. As a super impoverished village on a national level, they were truly struggling, usually only able to eat well during festivals in the year.
Despite being poor, the villagers were still very simple and kind-hearted. Two more people arrived, each bringing one of their own pigs to be butchered for everyone’s dinner.
Thus, the entire village started bustling with activity, cooking and setting up tables.
Of course, Qiao Qiqi couldn’t cook for so many people; she was only responsible for her brothers’ dinner, though, in actuality, it was the sa as everyone else’s, just prepared with a little more care.
Shui Qingcheng, with red eyes, ran over and handed her phone to Qiao Qiqi, "It’s the departnt chair’s call."
Qiao Qiqi glanced at her indifferently, took the phone, said a few words to the departnt chair, hung up, and called Gu Cheng to arrange a room on the first floor for Shui Qingcheng.
Shui Qingcheng breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the room. Although it was rather rudintary, at least it had a bathroom.
After bringing her here, Gu Cheng imdiately left. Shui Qingcheng took a shower, looked out through the window, and saw several n from the Rong Family surrounding Qiao Qiqi. Her mind began to race with ideas.
When Shui Qingcheng ca again, she was already dressed in a pure white dress, with pointed leather shoes and adorned her hair with a simple hairpin, which made her look sowhat elegant and intellectual.
It’s undeniable that Shui Qingcheng was beautiful.
If she wasn’t standing there, she would indeed be a great beauty, but as long as she stood next to Qiao Qiqi, she beca a re backdrop; certainly not comparable to the stunner, Yao Yao!
Yao Yao had already beco well-acquainted with An’an, and the two were happily chasing chickens and ducks running through the village.
Rong Yuan watched Yao Yao walk behind a flock of ducks, mimicking the way the little ducks walked, his face showing helplessness and fondness.
Rong Yun was live streaming purely because of an earlier promise to his fans, thinking he’d take the opportunity now that he had so free ti. He was walking around, interacting with fans anwhile.
Seeing this, Shui Qingcheng walked in the direction Rong Yun had gone.
Rong Yun walked a bit, and when he turned back, he nearly bumped into soone. He imdiately stepped back a few paces and apologized, "Sorry."
