Chapter 78: Wholesale, Is It?

Aladdin's Lamp had already gone. That cruel prince was in for a rough night's sleep.

Naturally, to save trouble, Beihai decided to enter the city first and find a guest room to rest. But before he even reached the city gate, he saw a line of people.

Those people seed to be adventurers, each carrying a treasured sword on their back, wearing armor, and holding an apple in their hand.

Beihai noticed this strange scene, and those guys naturally noticed Beihai too.

"Warrior, are you also here to join the crusade against the cruel prince?"

This question from the other party stunned Beihai. Looking at this long line that stretched from inside the eastern part of the city all the way out the city gate, Beihai truly didn't know what to say.

"? Uh, I guess so. You're all the sa?"

"Correct. That guy's actions have enraged both heaven and man. We naturally cannot stand idly by. It seems you are like us, also here to uphold justice on behalf of heaven, and also to rescue the princess, right?"

The man spoke with great conviction. As the saying goes, what that prince likes to do is capture kings and then walk them like dogs. Since they are kings, they naturally have princesses. Sotis, a single king might even have nine princesses.

According to the princess law, this was bound to attract poor lads or princes.

So, it seed quite normal that it could attract this many warriors. It's just that the equipnt on them wasn't even trying to hide it.

Although there was so suspicion of being mass-produced and generic, the goal was the sa: to take down the prince!!!

Beihai rubbed his hands together, a bit impatient, and said sowhat excitedly, "It seems that prince couldn't fly out even if he grew wings. When do we act? Wait for the encirclent to form? Or charge in right now and chop off the prince's dog head?"

Who knew that as soon as Beihai said this, he was t with rebuttal.

"No! How can we gang up on one person? To defeat him, we must fight fairly and squarely, make him lose and accept it wholeheartedly."

This statent seed both expected and unexpected, the kind that could throw your back out from the sheer twist.

Beihai didn't know whether to praise this kind of virtue or call the other party an idiot.

Or, to be a bit more conspiratorial, perhaps after defeating that prince, all the princesses would belong to the victor. That would be wanting to hog the entire feast.

However, such a rule couldn't possibly exist. Everyone was a passionate youth, caught up in the chuunibyou spirit, having agreed to one-on-one duels. Beihai also followed the long line straight into the castle.

In the central area of the kingdom, the sound of fighting seed to be coming from over there. Looking that way, one could see a fighting ring with two people engaged in combat.

Both sides held sharp swords and were fencing, but the fight was quickly decided. The person from the hero's camp was directly kicked off the ring. Before he could even get up from the ground, he was captured by the soldiers and taken to the prison.

As soon as this hero went down, the next second, another hero jumped up to fight the prince.

Although they talked about honor and played by one-on-one rules, that didn't stop them from using a war of attrition. This way, they upheld their honor and could still crusade against the cruel prince. Losing didn't seem so bad anyway;

they wouldn't die, at most just spend a few days in prison.

This bizarre scene naturally made Beihai click his tongue in amazent. He did feel so admiration for the prince. Truly a man who dared to go toe-to-toe with God. It's just a pity this person was too cruel.

They just kept fighting like this all day. When night fell, the heroes retreated, set up tents in the rear to rest, and of course, couldn't avoid cursing and grumbling.

Most of it was dialogue that, the more they cursed, the more it excited the prince.

Things like, 'You cruel and unkind brute!', 'You won't co to a good end!', 'You demon, you scum!' and the like.

Who knows if the cursing warriors felt better or not. Anyway, they just kept repeating those sa words. But the prince was definitely having a great ti.

Wasn't the reason he did all this to make everyone fear him, to spread his might and cruelty far and wide? Now he could say he had overfulfilled his mission. He was going to conquer a vast territory!

An outsider might think these foreign warriors were all just part of the prince's play.

After a day's work, the prince was in an excellent mood. He picked up water and drank it. After quenching his thirst, he began encouraging the soldiers below.

"After I play for one more day tomorrow, the army will march again."

The army below revealed cruel smiles and cheered loudly. They were happy to follow this guy because there was money to be made!

Every ti they captured a city, except for figures with status like kings or popes who couldn't be touched, everything else was free ga.

Although they didn't have any proper justification for it.

After all, there's a historical analogy. Put nicely, it was for a holy war, a crusade to the east. Put bluntly, it was just a bunch of bandits looting their way south.

See sothing, take it. After looting, they never forgot to say, 'This is for the holy war.' If they encountered soone they couldn't beat, they'd disband on the spot.

"Wouldn't that be breaking our word? Those heroes are still waiting outside."

So soldiers were worried. After all, every one of those outsiders could be considered a skilled fighter, having undergone training. Aside from so wild youths, those princes had all received excellent instruction.

The main thing was, today they ca alone to reason with you. If you dared to move troops tomorrow, wouldn't they scatter and flee? When they returned, who knows, it might be so 'Alliance to Punish the Bandit,' gathering 800,000 troops!

"Ah, are you sick? We're the villains. Isn't doing this very normal? Not doing this would be strange."

Even if sothing really happened, those guys would just say, 'I knew they would do that,' and that would be the end of it.

The cruel prince made up his mind and went back to his room to sleep. A person like him acted without caring about anyone's opinion.

The more unreasonable he was, the greater the infamy and terror he created, the more he could intimidate those below him, and the more his reputation would grow.

It's just that today seed a bit different. Just as he lay down and started feeling drowsy, his stomach suddenly began to ache.

The cruel prince had no choice but to rush to the toilet. But nothing happened. He ca back, lay down again, and his stomach imdiately started hurting once more.
