After leaving the Giant and the woman in the lake, it wasn't far from that distance before they soon saw another tree. Its leaves were lush and green, rustling beautifully in the wind. It would be even more comfortable to sit under the tree and enjoy the shade. Looking up at this mont, one could spot a single apple on the tree.

That apple was very strange. After all, the entire tree had only green leaves and that one apple, as if all its essence had been poured into it.

Beihai naturally noticed it and began to ponder. This apple was clearly no ordinary fruit, so it definitely wasn't a poisoned apple.

Moreover, the position to observe the apple was extrely tricky. You needed to be enjoying the shade under the big tree, then inadvertently look up. Otherwise, it was like searching for soy sauce.

This feeling was like when a parent is cooking and asks you to find a bottle of soy sauce, right at a critical mont. You look over the place where kitchenware is kept again and again, but you just can't find it.

Accompanied by the parent's urging, "It's right there on the table, can't you see it?"

This feeling was utterly baffling. So, after seeing that apple, if you looked from other angles, you could see it completely and clearly.

Naturally, Beihai climbed the tree, plucked the apple, and tossed it to Elsa. He didn't forget to ask Aladdin's Lamp, who was just standing by watching.

"What's the deal with this apple?"

Aladdin's Lamp raised an eyebrow, stroking his chin. "Nothing. It might be an ordinary apple, or it might be sowhat extraordinary."

Who could say for sure about apples? After all, they are too significant. In the realm of myths and legends, there's Adam and Eve. In the scientific field, there's a guy surnad Newton who sat under a tree, got hit, and then discovered gravity.

Their anings vary greatly across many worlds. Things like the Golden Apple, which grants a flawless golden body after consumption, or the nurous varieties of poisoned apples. And one can never avoid the fact that Snow White's appearance always involves a red apple—not just a stereotype, but even a bit of a dark joke.

Beihai clapped his hands, sowhat indifferent. As long as it wasn't poisonous, he'd just gobble it up.

"Elsa, it's yours as a reward."

Elsa clutched the apple tightly with both small hands, feeling it was precious for a mont and not daring to take a bite. After all, that tree was just too weird, growing only one apple, and it was bright red, looking crisp and delicious.

Aladdin wasn't very interested in the apple either. It was just an apple, after all. It couldn't possibly co to life after being eaten, could it?

After settling the apple issue, they continued forward and soon discovered a sharp sword. The blade was ssy, covered in dust, and even overgrown with so weeds.

As Beihai rode past on his horse, he couldn't help but comnt, "This is really not taking care of things. Aladdin, if I made a shared sword pavilion, do you think I'd make a killing?"

Following the sa principle as shared bicycles—scan to pay, then draw the sword to duel. Get one underage user, another who exceeds the ti limit and gets charged.

So, regarding this sword they saw, after providing Beihai with a topic for criticism and an utterly useless suggestion, it was tossed to the back of their minds and ignored.

And just like that, Beihai missed out on a Giant who could take on a hundred alone, even block a breach in a wall with his bare body. After all, that's how the story goes.

When the city wall is breached and the cruel Prince's army rushes to support him, the Giant just sits down in the gap and blocks a million troops.

He also didn't take the river water that could extinguish the Blazing Fla.

He didn't eat the apple that would make him stronger, nor did he pick up the divine weapon by the roadside. It was as if he took none of the gifts bestowed by heaven and earth.

Then, heaven and earth would produce two thods. First, if Beihai lost and the cruel Prince couldn't kill Beihai, good fortune would accompany Beihai until he returned to claim these things.

If he won, well, one could only say the prize pool was still accumulating.

The journey had been arduous, full of detours and encounters with lunatics. Now, they had finally arrived at the region ruled by that cruel Prince.

That area was very quiet, eerily so. Moreover, nine out of ten houses in the towns were empty. So houses were dilapidated, others had nothing left inside. Except for so load-bearing beams and staircases that couldn't be taken, anything that could be dismantled was gone.

The soldiers had burned, killed, and looted, taking all the good stuff back to their own country. If this place weren't now the Prince's territory, who knows how much worse it would have been ravaged.

When had Beihai ever seen such a scene?

The killing intent towards the Prince in his heart grew increasingly intense. In the original story, it was God who stopped him. But here, in this hodgepodge world, there was no God.

This also ant that stopping him would probably take a very long ti. It might just be the classic tale of the son overthrowing the father, a heartwarming story of filial piety. After that, the people could usher in true liberation, and the corrupt rule would be overthrown.

But this ti was too long, so long that Beihai couldn't wait. After all, if it didn't happen before his eyes, not knowing and not intervening was only natural. But since he knew, he had to get involved no matter what.

It echoed the phrase hospitals love to say: "Better a short, sharp pain than a long, drawn-out one."

"Aladdin, now I need you to do

a favor. You old thing, you're finally useful."

Aladdin's Lamp imdiately straightened his back. Well, Beihai had a point. He had been by Beihai's side for so long and hadn't helped with anything.

Naturally, he felt a knot of frustration in his heart. Not helping truly made him uncomfortable. There's a saying in this world: "The mont you start testing soone, you've already lost."

Aladdin's Lamp just wanted to test. "I don't believe you don't want to make a wish. I don't believe such a person exists. What kind of people haven't I, Aladdin, seen?"

So, regarding this sword they saw, after providing Beihai with a topic for ridicule and an utterly useless suggestion, it was tossed to the back of their minds and ignored.

"I would have done it even if you didn't ask. But I think being a mosquito is still letting him off too easy."

"You wait until the Prince is eating or drinking, then sneak into his stomach and wreak havoc."

Aladdin's eyes lit up. This was very interesting. He liked doing this.

As the saying goes, if a villain dares to do this, it's cruelty, it's sadistic, it's applying torture.

But when a righteous person does it, it's carrying out heaven's will, it's called tornting an evildoer who gets what he deserves.

There's a saying that fits well: letting this person die would be too cheap for him.
