Chapter 88 - Ryan's Taunt!
Jennifer felt that the girl was smart. At least not foolish, unlike other teenagers.
"You know who you should trust and not. That is good in your defense but the little one, rember my words as well. You can't just live without trusting anyone, neither can't you survive without trusting everyone."
The words which she said were a bit confusing too. Amaira found it sowhat hard to comprehend exactly what she ant. But on the second note, when she ran her mind deeper, she knew that it was related to her pain.
"Why are you telling about this?"
"Because I feel you should know? Listen, I don't know what you're going to through. We were on a bad note because of Javier.. and I already told you that Javier kidnapped because I was going to marry my fiance. That's it. You can rest assured with things related to Javier."
The assurance was a must, which Jennifer felt was needed. She senses how tense the lady looks for her elder brother. 'He isn't that vulnerable to how much she thinks.'
Or maybe, she hasn't seen his hidden scars until now, about which she can barely see it with her naked eyes.
When Amaira didn't reply, Jennifer continued to say, "You are a teenager and too much worried that you have forgotten how to enjoy your life. Must be because of how difficult it is at the sa ti you have to find happiness in the small holes."
She wished it was as easier as how those words left Jennifer's lips when she replied, "Glad to hear that but sohow that isn't possible how you make it sound so easy. Things aren't always so good and not in our direction. I have suffered so much in my life that.. they have absorbed deeply."
"So, co out of it and live your life on your terms. If soone taunts you for it, let them do it. Don't listen to them but rember, living your life doesn't an being indulged in wrongdoings."
As the elder of hers, she needs to make sure that the lady is aware of everything and Amaira just nodded her head. She didn't say anything further but Jennifer did take the notice of how seriously she took her words in her mind.
'Maybe my words registered in her mind and she will give it a thought at least that is better....' Her work was to make her feel about her own feelings and life, but if she isn't willing to talk, then all she can do is to motivate her.
"I heard that Emily ca to Brother's apartnt in the morning. Have you t her?" Changing the topic completely, Amaira asked about the fiance of Javier.
"Well… " making a sarcastic face Jennifer answered, "She is a bit annoying. Ca unwelcod and tried to show off with Javier as her fiance but whatever, as I care?"
"Good. Don't even co closer to her since she's one of the most famous cunning queens in the lady's club." Amaira chuckled when she pressed the key point and realized both of them have a deep dislike towards Emily.
"That surely she is. How does she reply? as if we are here to snatch sothing. Oh, honey, we have everything in reality which you just think of having in your dreams. I should have said this at her face!"
Both the ladies laughed while gossiping about Emily and her severe attitude which wasn't in liking any of them.
"Oh, You know what happened in the morning? You see, we gathered to have breakfast but Javied made b-"
"Cough cough.."
Jennifer was interrupted in the middle of the talks. Turning around, she saw Ryan standing there with a glass of shake in his hand which he passed her over to Jennifer. "I bought this for you. You must be hungry.."
"Oh! Thank you so much." Jennifer tasted it with the help of straw and her eyes widened. "That is so tasty! Oh my god, I never had such a delicious shake. I an.. there must be sothing secret for sure."
Her eyes glood in happiness. Excitedness was on her entire face and Ryan nodded simply. anwhile, Amaira who was standing beside Jennifer, felt her soul being extracted when Ryan ca from behind.
Her eyes never tore from his face. He was trying to avoid any kind of eye contact with her, keeping his head and eyes all in Jennifer's direction in the most professional manner.
"Amaira! taste it once." Jennifer passed the drink in Amaira's direction and which led to the shift of the daze. She simply nodded through her eyes and tasted it to find it refreshing as well. "It is good."
"See? I told you. I will drink the rest. Do you want one?" Jennifer asked politely since the girl was walking with her, for who knows how many minutes already.
Amaira shook her head in Jennifer's direction and retarded her face to take a look at Ryan. "Hey.. how have you been?"
At first, he didn't seem to hear. Or just heard to ignore her presence but when her longing and eager gaze lingered on his face, did he take notice of her for the very first ti since arriving.
"I'm good Ms. Johnson. It is such a surprise to see you here when you should have been attending your classes in university."
The taunt was much clear to hear. Even Jennifer Felt sothing was definitely odd to hear Ryan's cold attitude. 'She is Javier's sister and a Johnson too, still, he has the guts to talk to her like that?'
It was rude but not sothing that should concern her. To not ddle in their affair, Jennifer decided to keep herself out of this ss and let them have a serious and orderly conversation, without showing them her horses.
Amaira's face fly lost all its color. But still, she felt the urge to hug him, she answered back in the elite voice. "My university is over already. The ti is four twenty now... My classes get over around two-twenty."
"Oh right. Now, will I know? Silly . But this makes wonder, are you roaming here and there to et soone special now, Ms. Johnson,"
