Chapter 514: Hostility!
Jennifer’s eyes didn’t wash from his serious face even for a single second. “I’m not sure who it is but I heard from my parents about them. I guess, there are so military people or Kingdoms... I don’t know.”
“Princess?” For a while, Javier still held his doubts. He found this to be lewd since, in his eyes, he never thought that she wasn’t a Taylor.
“Then, were you adopted by them?” He can’t help but ask, believing that she was hurt by the revelations which caused her to run away from her ho.
But Jennifer gave him a solid shake and burst his bubble. Javier passed her his obvious gazes which were anticipating so answers.”Then, why were you running from your parents?”
“Because they want to kill !” The word finally rolled from Jennifer’s mouth when she found her throat tightened while muttering this. “They.. think that I will be a threat to them.”
“At any cost, they don’t wish to let be aware of my identity. Moreover, they think that if my real parents find , Mr. and Mrs. will be killed. I don’t know why my parents will actually kill my adoptive parents!?!”
Jennifer had thought about this but she found no clue. Why would they wish to kill Mr. and Mrs. Taylor if they were the ones who took her care for the past two and half decades?

She was under the wings of Taylor’s. So why was Taylor’s family so afraid of her identity being revealed in front of the entire world?
While a bundle of questions was raised, Javier was in no hurry to answer them.’I will need or investigate this first...’ before he could co to any conclusion, he wished to have information under his nose.
As Javier rotated his head back to the front, he started the engine and hit back the road very soon. They were traveling on the outskirts of Lucas’s state’s territory which was still riskier.
However, Jennifer’s eyes didn’t bulge from Javier’s fine expressions. She could vividly guess he was hiding sothing but her eagerness was on the high side. “I also have sothing to show you...”
“Hmm?”
“This...” Jennifer brought the crumbled photograph from the back of her pockets. The picture was of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, and there stood a man with shining armor.
Javier took the picture from her hand to pass it a glance. Just in one look, his eyes turned narrower. “This...Are you seriously a Princess?”
To this, Jennifer maintained silence.
She has yet to dig the grave of the truths and without facts, she will not build any irrelevant assumptions.
Taking a deep breath, Jennifer posted the comnt, “Use this picture to find out about them. I’m sure that I must be related to them at least.”
Her certainty also made him nod his head. At last, they were back to their awkward silence where Javier didn’t take initiative to converse and Jennfier was finding it hard to kill the air.
Subconsciously, she kept on digging her nails into her flesh but that didn’t bring any possible hint. ‘Should I say sorry? But is he even looking forward to it?’
Out of the blue, Jennifer realized that both of them weren’t only lost in their communication but also building up trust issues.
In the end, Jennifer took a deep breath to regain her composure before asking. “Now tell , what are you doing here? How are you able to sneak inside the states?”
“Lucas’s effect has decreased since Jack took over the business and other stuff..” Was the simplest reply possible from Javier?
He was acting to the point and didn’t leave her with any margin to negotiate. At that mont, Jennifer understood that he was deliberately trying to make things difficult for her.
“If that’s the reason, why did you not reciprocate when we both t in that hotel?” Her instinct told her that he was still angry.
Jennifer kept her narrowed eyes stagnant on his expressionless face but found no clue. He remained solid and this brought an extre level of fury.
“You acted so fast.. just one night, I was with you. The next morning I’m waking up in another room of another hotel. Were you so desperate to see ?”Jennifer tried to push her luck.
She added the tease and flirtation, in the hope for Javier to give his response. But to her dismay, JAVIER didn’t even flinch his eyes at her.
While Jennifer wished to protest his cold behavior, she had no courage. There are tons of things that need to be discussed so that they are able to remove threats from their way...
As Jennifer flew her eyes out of the window she saw the large buildings were left behind them. Now, they riding through the countryside. She was greeted with a view of the lavish greenery of farms.
But soon, the greenery went to a halt and it was replaced with sand dunes. For a bit, Jennifer had a bad feeling riding in her stomach, and she instantly shifted her focus.
“Javier.. there is sothing which I need to tell you...”
“Not right now.” He spoke in his hoarse voice and finally, he pulled the car at the entrance of one of the buildings
Jennifer logged her eyes to find that the buildings looked massive. In fact, in such a deserted place, the construction to build buildings must be huge. It didn’t strike her mind imdiately and this brought an undefined uneasiness budding in her heart.
She was alard and this made her clutch her hand sharply.
Jennifer gazed at Javier who removed his seatbelt “Why have you brought here?”
On hearing this, Javier lifted his rigid eyes which contained hostility for her, “Don’t ask questions and co inside. You will know yourself.”
