Chapter 492: I wanted to marry Lucas!
“H-He..wasn’t the sa Austin whom I had lived with. He had changed drastically and the change was vital to invade from my eyes..” Olivia muttered with a thick frown on her face.
She was tense, as her body started to clutch together.
In fact, how she rubbed her fingers and were her ti bed eyelids, gave Jenifer the insight that Austin and her bond have significantly gone through different situations too.
“What was it?” Jennifer asked.
“From the ti we both were separated, I realized that it...it..wasn’t a simple friendship from my side. And as I grew older, this realization turned into sothing serious.”
“My wait for him never ended, but I grew hopeless since I knew that he won’t be able to locate anywhere nearby.”
“With so many things going around, dad’s surgery, sister’s death, and the extra workload of the work, I was left with no ti to even think about him.”

“Fortunately, he reappeared at the ti when I was in the most need of him...the ti when I was left with the shortage of money for my father’s surgery.”
Hearing Olivia’s words made Jennifer massage her temples. She took a deep breath to once again sit on a desk, without tearing her gaze from Olivia. “You an to say that...Austin helped you with your father’s surgery?”
“Correct. He did, and I was grateful. He told that he found after much hardship since I was already out of the orphanage. Happily, and securely I believed..and my love for him also revoked again..” Olivia was guilt-ridden.
Even saying this aloud tore her heart apart.
She should simply hate that man, who put her in such circumstances, to act as the detective for Lucas.
Yet, she was vulnerable to boring much hate for him even from the depths of her heart. It was the undying fact lying in her heart to watch.
Jennifer blinked her eyes twice before she asked again, “So you thought he is here to bring you back with him..or at least because he has a thing for you?”
In return, Olivia didn’t give a beneficial answer.
Her intact head was itself an answer that she was clueless about what he held for her. “Only he knows what he wants and thinks. He never disclosed this to .”
“But as he had helped your father, did he ask sothing from you as well?” Jennifer was pretty much sure that since Austin changed, there must be sothing done by her as a favor.
‘But if Austin helped her so much, why did she fight him in front of the company and told him that she doesn’t wish to see his face?’ There was still confusion in her brain.
At the sa ti, Olivia had asked for more water and without delay, she gave her another glass of water.
Gulping and sipping it bit by bit, Olivia’s eyes straight away fell on the wall, without moving it for a second.
“He told that he is here again, I’m in contact with him because he wants to do work for him. At first, I thought that it must be in his company or sothing..but later on, I learned that he wants to be an..d...detective...”
“DETECTIVE?!”
Jennifer’s sudden blurring word only raised her guards.
Yet she held herself, to not exchange the glances, “Yes. Detective. And I believe you can easily guess for whom he wants to spy on.”
“Lucas?”Jenifer’s instant guess made a smirk pull off Olivia’s face.
She was suddenly feeling joyed, that this lady has got such a brain to recognize things efficiently as well.
The silence fell by Jennifer’s heart thumb again.
She knew Olivia had the things with Lucas.
There is a reason why she is known to be left-handed. But who will guess that her loyalty lies sowhere else?
At the sa ti, taking the opportunity in her hand, Olivia once again said, “I would be your personal assistant Lucas. and..he wants to be extrely personal..where you can understand what he ant.”
As Jennifer gave her a nod, she felt her heart squeezed. ‘The man you love..asks you to be a mistress of soone else?’ how heartbreaking this position would be for her.
Moreover, being with Lucas was terrifying.
He is a ruthless guy, who can kill anyone just in the blink of his eye.
Gulping the saliva, she had to applaud Olivia for her bravery and for stepping into this put fire willingly.
“You agreed..”
“My hatred for Austin had nothing to do with favor. Since he had given the money, I agreed to be the detective for Lucas. Initially, I had started to gain his luck and trust. Things progressed and with ti, I..I.realized that how Lucas pampers is also deserving..so my heart started to bind with his thoughts.”
“I..I...’ I’m sorry to say this but I wanted to marry Lucas. This was what I have been asking him for a few years. But he wants to marry you so I stayed quiet with this. However, as things progress and how he made..that bastard actress pregnant, I have already lost all those feelings for this man.”
Olivia’s truthful confession took her heart to miss the heart.
How can a lady like her be so honest yet daring in her statent where she knows that everything was at risk.
Holding herself back, Jennifer had taken it upon herself to adjust herself to this current situation.
It was hard, where she can’t help but feel her own brain nerves getting tempered.
But there was a more urgent need for this, and that was finally relieved.
With The first layer of the mist covering Jennifer’s eyes, she raised her head to look at Olivia, and this ti with the utmost seriousness, “Tell , Olivia.”
“Do you know why Lucas is interested in marrying ? What is the reason behind his so-called persistence to marry and only ?”
