Chapter 181 - Grandchildren's Face!

The voice made Javier take a step back, putting so distance between them. "Not interested. I have no interest in this.."

"Oh C'mon Javier! You archived thousands of bottles in your apartnt, beers in your mini house bar yet you are telling you aren't interested in them?" A giant smile passed through her lips when she heard him lying.

The dress hers was too tight, which made Javier think twice about how was she able to breathe and stand properly?

"You are mistaken." That was all that Javier said, but this wasn't enough to satisfy her.

Raising Her brows, she asked, "Did I?"

"I told you that I don't have any liking, but that isn't towards the wines but of having drinks with you. Having any drink, will in return be considered disadvantageous for , in the end, no." His straightforward reply on her face, made her smile vanish imdiately.

His words made a frown curve on her forehead where she can't figure it out, why was he so rude towards her?

What was her fault!? I

tit was Jennifer who made an entry into their relationship, how can she be at the wrong end?

"Javier.. open your eyes. You are talking with your fiance in such a rude manner. Will this continue even after we get married?" her question made him answer in the distant voice.

"No. It will not. Who said that I will marry a bimbo and dumb girl like you? Anyways, move aside, I have to go back to my room." Javier has no interest in talking to her.

Especially after what she did with Jennifer and how she openly claid him as her fiance.

No, he wasn't her fiance since there is no legal arrangent, or any engagent held.

Moreover, talks between families don't count in his eyes, as the groom is himself not ready for any relation between them.

Emily didn't like his way of talking with her. Yet there was more to add when she looked at his face with her loof eyes.

Trying to convince, but in the end, she failed as Javier was persistent to leave.

"I was here to inform you about sothing.." hearing this, Javier lowered his eyes to stare at the girl's face to see through her soul if she was bluffing or saying any truth?

"What kind of ssage?"

"Your father was calling you on the terrace and invited you to have drinks with him… he was the one who asked to inform you." Javier found it ridiculous since his father will never make any attempt himself.

It was arousing, but at the sa ti, he wasn't going to ignore her words so easily too. Narrowing his eyes, he asked with a threatening voice, "Are you kidding? If you are, the result will not be good."

"At last, I will not joke when it cos to Elder Mr. Johnson. Go, et your father while I take my leave for tonight.. goodbye my love." She tried to stand on her toes and kiss his cheeks but he pushed her ruthlessly behind.

Looking at his back she wanted to call his na but sohow stopped himself from doing so.

A narrow glint passed through her eyes when she rembered Shirley'd word in her own mind.

'In the end.. you will beg to marry you..'

Javier stepped on the terrace, to find the minibar wood along with his father's standing inside it while making so drinks.

It was a sight to witness as it would be considered weird, for the very first ti when his father really wanted to have so talks.. as father and son.

"You called father?" Javier appeared ahead and kept his hand on the bar's top when Shawn lifted his eyes and nodded.

"Yes yes. I wanted to say sothing important And discuss it with you."

"If it is related to business then brother will be the best option. Don't consider the sa." Javier had no such interest to be associated with the family business which is currently under the hand of his brother.

Instead, he wanted to flourish the company which his mother left behind for him so that both of their parents' hard work will not go in vain, and it will sohow avoid any conflict as well.

Shawn shook his head, insisting that it is related to sothing else, "Take a seat. I will bring your drink there."

"Alright." Answering back, Javier walked to the other side where he sat and tried to close his eyes, and relaxed a bit.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do so because curiosity was a problem in his heart. 'Why will he send Emily to have a discussion with ?'

He found it very strange. Until now in his lifespan, neither has his father tried to initiate any conversation with him again ever.

Today was an exceptional situation for sure!

Soon, Shawn appeared with the drinks in both of his hands, from which he handed one to Javier. "Hopefully you will like the taste."

Taking a sip, he just nodded his head, "It is indeed good. Anyways, why have you called on the terrace to discuss things?"

"So that we can be one and in the fresh air? I don't know how to talk. It's hot inside and will be boring for us to have a personal conversation."

Personal conversation?

Javier's eyes twisted at the comnt when he knew that his father has sothing else which he wish to add as well.

"You wish to say sothing else, father?"

Coughing hard, Shawn Johnson brought his glass near his mouth and averted his gaze to the sky above them.

But it was clear where they could see stars, a half-shaped moon, and so cold breezes coming and passing by, after touching their skin

"I.. was thinking… about our lives. Soon, I will be very old and leave this world, won't it?"

Javier can't comprehend his hidden movent and emotions way as he was trying to know what the man wishes to convey via his words.

It made no sense to him, "Father…"

"Javier, I'm neither young nor are you. I can' say anything to Charles as… because of the past he is too broken but.. son you are the only hope for , from whom I can at least expect to see my Grandchildren's face."
