I chuckled, the story is pretty convincing, and that innocent expression!

"You really think I was knocked out by Lord Qi’s drug?" If I had fallen asleep back then like Qinghan, missing their conversation with Lord Qi, I might have believed his lies.

He was the first to propose killing us to silence us. If they really were runaways unaware of Lord Qi’s tomb robbing, thinking it was just a regular adventure, their reaction to Lord Qi drugging us should have been surprise, not imdiately thinking to kill us.

"Oh? So you were pretending all along!" Baseball withdrew his superb acting, staring at coldly.

"Soone who can’t be killed by bullets, how could they be knocked out by drugs?"

"What kind of Evil Magic are you practicing? I’m willing to pay a high price!"

"You? Humph, you’re not qualified."

"Alright, if you let us live, I can give you a lot of money."

This man won’t stop talking about money, so kawaii. Just as I was about to say cash only, Qinghan beat to it by saying, "You can’t escape."

Qinghan won’t let the tomb robbers go, and there might be reinforcents he’s called waiting outside to catch them, so these two Sakura people aren’t getting away.

But why couldn’t he wait until I’d coaxed so money out of them? So frustrating!

"Let us go, and I can tell you a secret." Baseball made a last-ditch effort.

"What secret? Save it for the police," Qinghan replied with a straight face.

"A big secret about the Heavenly Maiden Tomb, don’t you really want to know? Pasopanukulo!" Baseball suddenly uttered a foreign phrase.

Unfortunately, Qinghan and I exchanged looks, neither of us understood it. What surprised us even more was when Baseball said this, his eyes widened in disbelief.

His skin rapidly dehydrated, he turned into a dried potato, and with a look of shock, his body turned to ashes.

"What’s happening to him?" I nudged Qinghan’s arm, hoping he could explain with his vast knowledge.

"Even he doesn’t know, but... it might have sothing to do with what he said last."

"That Sakura phrase?"

"No, it’s not Sakura language. Think again."

Qinghan launched into a riddle once more, and I thought about it repeatedly, finding that phrase sowhat familiar.

"Let’s get out first, this person needs treatnt. Maybe we can get so answers from him." Qinghan carried the barely alive Sakura man, and I dragged the unconscious one.

The base of the coffin shifted, revealing a hole with downward stairs, leading who knows where.

We reached the bottom, and Qinghan and I were dumbfounded. We thought this was another exit to the ancient tomb, but it turned out to be a hidden room.

Or rather, a back room. Large ancient tombs usually have a chamber behind the main tomb chamber, called a back room, used to store many treasures.

Lord Qi was likely after this room. Sothing felt amiss, so I asked Qinghan, "You said the archaeology team never opened the main tomb chamber doors, so they shouldn’t know about this hidden room, how did Lord Qi know?"

We assud Lord Qi’s knowledge of this tomb ca from the archaeology team’s internal docunts, but it seems that wasn’t the case.

Qinghan shone a picked-up flashlight around the hidden room, noticing many tal barrels lined against the wall, each half-human high.

He opened the lid of one barrel, filled with liquid, leaned closer, and sniffed, "It’s liquor."

"All of them?" I let go of the person I was dragging, ran to other barrels, lifted lids, sniffed each one, and found all twenty barrels full of liquor.

"This liquor lover~" I thought about the pitchers and cups in the tomb chamber; it seems 003 had no other hobbies.

"Let’s move on, check elsewhere."

"You go ahead, I’ll stay here and reminisce."

"Don’t overdo it, you have feeling now."

"Got it~"

I waved him off like shooing flies; when I got shot, I felt pain, but lightly. My pain nerves are still different from living people, recovering quickly, and the headache problem can be overco eventually.

After Qinghan left, I squatted next to the barrels staring at them, but after several minutes no mories surfaced.

"Sneaking a drink, huh?" I imagined the scene of the fiery blonde secretly drinking, her previous tantrum echoed in my mind, her fast-paced voice sounding familiar, pasopanukulo!

Ah... it’s what Baseball said last, we have a traitor among us...

That’s the aning, but the blonde said it without issue. Baseball said it and died. Why is that? It’s not a death curse, just a statent.

"Little Fu, I found the exit." Qinghan’s voice interrupted my thoughts.

I grabbed Lord Qi’s henchman and went back to the tomb chamber above, where Qinghan stood on the sealed coffin cover, with a square exit overhead.

He’s quite the master at finding chanisms, seemingly able to locate secret passages in any ancient tomb.

"Get up there first, lift them up." Qinghan made room beneath the exit.

I climbed onto the coffin, intending to jump into the exit myself, but Qinghan lifted first, easily entering the exit.

Can’t deny that two people working together is efficient and fast.

We tead up to lift the other two through the exit; above was a secret passage, only one direction, no twists.

"Backpacks, take the ones by the box." I rembered the two backpacks full of ’antiques.’

But Qinghan jumped up without the backpacks, clutching only a small silver goblet.

"That’s within my rights, take it as a souvenir." Qinghan took my hand, slipping the goblet into it.

"Just this tiny one? That’s stingy. And how co you’re aweso, yet have limited rights? At least change to a golden one!"

"Not impressed? Then I’ll return it."

Qinghan pretended to snatch it, and I quickly hid the goblet in my sleeve. The sleeve had a closure, preventing the goblet from falling out.

"Money-grubber." Qinghan smiled, shouldering Mr. Zhe Shou and moving forward.

I dragged Lord Qi’s henchman, following closely behind him. The passage had no decorations, nor traps or guardian creatures.

"Did your people arrive? Are we coming back later?"

"This tomb has new discoveries; more will guard it later. We need to switch locations."

"Where? Another Heavenly Maiden Tomb?"

"Yes, but abroad."

"Don’t tell it’s one you haven’t successfully excavated yet!"

"You guessed right."

"No way, are you providing a safe house or asking to help dig up my kin’s tomb? How do I deal with this deep sense of guilt?"

"Who tried to bag up the kin’s burial items? What about their guilt?"

"I..." How can a thousand-year-old zongzi be rendered speechless by a re twenty-sothing kid?! What a sin!
