The Informal Tomb Raiding Diary: She is the occupant of the tomb! Chapter 100: Cold Personas Are Easy to Break
The waterlon cutting symbol relates to the moon, so Chen Qinghan suspects that this symbol belongs to a faction of the Celestial Maidens clan, a faction that has continued since ancient tis.
Perhaps this faction was the builders of our ancient tomb, similar to tomb-building artisans, and that’s why they possess the layout map of the tomb.
Chen Qinghan’s speculation is reasonable, but I think it’s not that simple.
Bi Shi is a criminal within the clan, and the waterlon cutting plan is to take her out of the ’cage’, which certainly isn’t a pure intention.
If the Heavenly Maiden Clan didn’t have strange abilities, no matter what trouble they caused, they wouldn’t be a threat. But people in the Heavenly Maiden Clan are sowhat different from ordinary people, so who knows what ss they might create.
I repeatedly remind myself to be a law-abiding good citizen and to firmly draw a clear boundary with the bad elents in the clan, absolutely not involving myself in any of their actions.
I was earnestly declaring my determination, and Chen Qinghan only responded with ’mmm’, which made quite annoyed, so I raised a hand and punched him.
Chen Qinghan acted as if nothing happened, and his attitude made unhappy, giving the feeling of being distrusted.
Right now, I trust him, but he seems not to trust that much. In reality, protecting soone and fully trusting them can be two different things.
Who made bear the identity of the Heavenly Maiden Clan? Now those making trouble might be descendants of the Heavenly Maiden Clan, and I might inadvertently get swept into the whirlwind.
"Will you change?" Chen Qinghan’s voice cuts through the sound of running water into my ears.
This is simply a soul-searching question. Who wouldn’t change? In Bi Shi’s eyes, I’ve changed beyond recognition, a world apart from the person she knew.
As long as there’s enough ti, nothing stays the sa—people are bound to change eventually.
But if the ti isn’t long, one likely won’t change. I nodded confidently, believing that during Chen Qinghan’s lifeti of just a few decades, I could remain unchanged over these ten-plus years.
Although I’ve seen countless scenes of teammates conflicting, internal fighting, and splitting, I still believe in myself. Just a few decades—that ti will pass with so perseverance.
I just don’t quite understand what kind of ’change’ Chen Qinghan ant, and he didn’t explain, rely smiled and said that’s good.
He’s a person hard to open up to others, keeping everything inside, and the rare monts he reveals a little of his thoughts often leave puzzled.
After showering until I looked like a drenched chicken, I ca out of the bathroom with my clothes soaked through.
Chen Qinghan pushed out, continued to shower himself, leaving dripping all over, like I just climbed out of a river.
Thinking about it, I suspect he might be afraid that one day we’ll stand on opposing sides, and that’s why he’s so conflicted inside.
Actually, he doesn’t need to worry. Like Bi Shi said, I’m the most hated existence in the entire clan, indicating my strained relations with them—I’m certainly not going to side with them.
The black-clad individual sat motionless on the sofa, gave no response when I ca out, genuinely devoid of emotion.
Before sleeping at night, Chen Qinghan suddenly said, "Don’t change," and then fell silent.
It startled as I lay on the sofa, and as a result, I was fighting with soone in my dream all night — angry, arguing, with soone constantly shouting at , "You’ve changed."
Waking up, I was still gloomy, feeling like I didn’t win the argunt in the dream, furious and wanting to continue the fight. But the scene had changed and the person I was fighting had vanished.
That certainly wasn’t a dream; it was likely so mory evoked by Chen Qinghan’s stimulus. The voice in the dream hadn’t been heard in reality—definitely not Mist or Bi Shi.
Unfortunately, the whole dream was a bloody red, and I didn’t get a clear look at the ’opponent’s’ face. But even if I did see clearly, after so many years, with shifts in ti, where could I go to continue fighting her?
After breakfast, we continued driving toward the coastline. Maybe due to our good behavior, showing no attempt to escape or attack the black-clad individuals, they allowed us to sit in the sa car today.
Chen Qinghan’s watch has a positioning function, and he’s already sent the signal. But being abroad, reinforcents will likely not arrive as swiftly as they would dostically.
Bi Shi madly scrolled through her phone in the car, hardly ever looking up even during als.
I excused myself, claiming to be dieting, only eating a bit of chocolate daily, while Bi Shi devoured als like there were no tomorrow.
Her way of ’resurrection’ is different from mine, clearly more human-like, capable of normal eating, drinking, and excretion.
When she eats, I watch to see if her constant phone-gazing would end up with her stuffing food into her nose.
She used to find the anti-depression videos I showed her annoying, but now she realizes the benefits of a phone, clinging to it day and night, with a power bank in her pocket, and charging cables as if they’re part of her body.
Seems like she doesn’t need my introduction to realize how the world has changed trendously from before.
Approaching the coast, I noticed Bi Shi was watching short videos; initially, I thought she was watching ’important information’ relevant to this era, only to discover she was watching Douyin TikTok!
No wonder I always saw her with a grimacing, contorting face—seems she was trying hard to suppress laughter.
Who’s the one that’s completely changed? The cold high priest watching brainless funny TikToks!
The car finally drove into a seaside small town called sothing Tu. I didn’t catch it when Chen Qinghan ntioned it; my mind was wandering.
At the shore, we had a boat waiting for us—breezy, sunny perfect weather for going to sea, with everyone on board, including the helmsman being the black-clad individuals.
After being escorted into the cabin and sitting, I quietly said to Chen Qinghan, "Did you see what I saw?"
Chen Qinghan nodded, "They look identical."
Four identical ones could barely be counted as quadruplets, or even rarer—sextuplets, octuplets. But altogether nearly twenty on the ship, all with the sa face! No plastic surgeon has such skills.
Except for the black-clad ones and us three, no one else was on board—obviously, this isn’t our final destination for this journey.
Sure enough, the yacht carried us deeper into the sea, after about an hour, a luxury cruise ship appeared in my view.
I’ve seen it on travel sites—Margaret Royal, Swan, Caribbean 15-day luxury packages, etc.
But ever since watching sea disaster movies about hitting icebergs, I’ve no interest in such tours.
Especially after seeing that movie about a sea monster boarding to eat people—a truly unforgettable horror.
However, since I promised Chen Qinghan to go to sea to find his sister, it’s also a good adaptation to get used to sea operations first.
Contrary to my imagination, this cruise ship seems to be just an ordinary tourist ship with quite a few tourists on board; with or without us three, it makes no difference.
Only three black-clad individuals boarded with us, seemingly aware to keep a low profile in public.
Our appearance didn’t draw attention from others as embarking and disembarking to enjoy the coastal scenery is part of the tour.
With so many people on board, no one would rember who disembarked today and whether those who returned were the sa group.
