"Madam, don’t worry too much. The young master is always ticulous and prudent. I believe nothing will go wrong."

Aunt Bao comforted Su Yunjin and urged her to eat.

"Madam, even if you’re worried about the young master, you can’t skip als. If you neglect your health, he’d be distressed knowing how much he cares for you."

Aunt Bao picked up the spoon Su Yunjin had put down and handed it back to her.

Su Yunjin accepted it, and Aunt Bao continued, "Madam, if you’re really anxious about the young master, after your al, you could send Xue Chu and the others to find out exactly where he is now."

Speaking of Xue Chu, Xue Chu and Linglong are getting married in a few days; they’re certainly busy now.

It’s said that Xue Chu’s parents aren’t too pleased with Linglong. They’ve t her and feel she’s too beautiful to be a dependable wife.

Bringing ho such a coquettish woman wouldn’t make a good homaker.

The Xue Family doesn’t approve of Xue Chu marrying Linglong. Although Xue Chu eventually persuaded his parents to agree to the marriage, they still refused to help with the wedding arrangents. Fortunately, Xue Chu and Linglong don’t mind; they decided to prepare everything themselves, including hosting the guests.

Xue Chu and Linglong are doing everything themselves, and since they’re so busy, how could Su Yunjin bother them?

If not Xue Chu, then Hong Wu can. After contemplating, Su Yunjin said, "Aunt, please call Hong Wu over for ; I have sothing to instruct him!"

Aunt Bao nodded, "Madam, are you planning to have Hong Wu inquire about the young master’s news?"

"Yes." Su Yunjin scooped a spoonful of porridge, "Aunt, I really can’t stop worrying about my husband. Only by sending Hong Wu to check on him will I be at ease."

Aunt Bao suggested, "Madam, I’ll directly inform Hong Wu about this, no need to call him over."

That works too. Su Yunjin didn’t oppose Aunt Bao’s plan, "Alright, Aunt. Let’s do it your way then!"

After finishing their discussion, Aunt Bao went out to open the door, and the wind and snow blew in fiercely. Just as she opened the door, a cold gust blurred her vision, and the wind carried snowflakes onto her face.

Aunt Bao instinctively blocked her eyes with her hand, and as she was about to step out, she suddenly noticed a tall figure standing not far ahead.

Stunned for a mont, Aunt Bao’s face lit up with joy once she recognized the person.

"Young master, Madam, the young master has returned!"

Aunt Bao was delighted, truly overjoyed that the young master had finally co back. Inside, Su Yunjin was eating when she heard Aunt Bao’s voice and imdiately stood up excitedly.

After Aunt Bao’s announcent, she greeted Gu Ya, "Young master, you’ve finally returned. You don’t know how worried Madam has been these past days with the heavy snow."

Gu Ya had traveled day and night to return early and ease his wife’s worry.

He finally made it back today after being apart from his wife for several months and couldn’t wait to see her.

Without waiting for Aunt Bao to finish speaking, Gu Ya strode into the house where Su Yunjin, upon seeing him, first felt joy and then imdiately leapt into his embrace.

"Husband!" Su Yunjin tightly held the just-returned Gu Ya, not minding the cold that still clung to him from outside, ignoring the snow, and embracing him tightly.

"Husband, you’ve finally co back!" Su Yunjin hugged Gu Ya, her voice tinged with a hint of grievance.
