Gu Ya has never been very fond of the tomato sauce that his little wife makes. Seeing the potato strip dipped in tomato sauce being offered to his mouth, Gu Ya couldn’t help but frown.
Su Yunjin noticed Gu Ya’s apparent reluctance and said, "Husband, it’s really delicious. Just give it a try!"
With a look of expectation on his little wife’s face, Gu Ya couldn’t refuse and opened his mouth to taste it.
"Husband, how is it? Is it tasty?" Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya expectantly.
Gu Ya thought it was diocre; not particularly good, but not bad either. However, seeing the look of anticipation on his wife’s face, the words slipped out of his mouth subconsciously, "Hmm, it’s delicious."
"See, I wasn’t lying, was I?" Su Yunjin giggled, "I knew you would find it as tasty as I do."
Gu Ya said nothing, thinking, "It’s the kind of thing that probably only won like my little wife would enjoy."
Su Yunjin, while eating the potato strips, casually ntioned to Gu Ya that Su Muze had visited today, "Husband, my brother ca to see today."
"Yunjin, why did your brother co to see you?" Gu Ya asked as he sat down.
Su Yunjin sprawled onto the chair, exasperated, "What else? It’s about the dock again. My sister-in-law brought up the dock issue to him again when she returned, and he, feeling guilty about her, agreed to it."
"So, your brother is still thinking about working at the dock?" Gu Ya poured himself a cup of tea.
Su Yunjin nodded, "He’s been thinking about it all the ti!"
"Yunjin, what do you plan to do about it?" Gu Ya intended to hear his little wife’s opinion.
Instead of answering, Su Yunjin asked back, "By the way, husband, it will be the end of the month in two days, have the dock’s profits for this month been calculated?"
Curious about the dock’s profits and ntioning silver, Su Yunjin’s eyes sparkled brightly.
Gu Ya looked at his little wife with amusent at her greedy expression.
"Yunjin, you’re a mother now, why do you still love silver so much?" Gu Ya said with a half-smile. His little wife’s greedy nature never changed.
Su Yunjin wasn’t bothered; who doesn’t like silver? As far as she’s concerned, as long as it’s a person, they would like silver. "Husband, don’t you like silver?" Su Yunjin didn’t believe Gu Ya wouldn’t love money.
It was as if only she was the greedy one. Su Yunjin waited confidently for Gu Ya’s answer, not expecting that he would suddenly wrap his arms around her. Looking down at her, he said, "Yunjin, I like you more." Although Gu Ya also liked silver, he preferred his little wife. The little woman in his arms was what mattered most to Gu Ya.
Hearing Gu Ya’s words, Su Yunjin felt sweet inside, but she playfully scolded him, "You sweet-talker!"
Gu Ya stared at her, "Yunjin, I’m speaking the truth. Compared to silver, your charm is much greater!"
Gu Ya’s words had a deeper implication, and his gaze beca sowhat heated as he looked at her.
Being stared at by Gu Ya like that, Su Yunjin suddenly felt awkward and hurriedly gave him a gentle push.
But Gu Ya didn’t continue teasing his little wife.
Returning to his seat, Gu Ya said, "Yunjin, the dock’s profit for this month has already been calculated, and Xue Chu has arranged for soone to send the account book to my study!"
"Really?" Su Yunjin asked with a cheeky smile, "Husband, have you looked at the account book yet?"
Gu Ya replied honestly, "Not yet!"
