Su Yunjin suddenly felt a large hand grab the hem of her clothes. She instinctively looked down and saw that Gu Ya had opened his eyes.

“Yun’er, I’m not afraid of bitterness.” Gu Ya’s handso face was stiff, needing to explain himself to prevent his young wife from thinking he was truly afraid of bitter dicine.
Su Yunjin wondered what was wrong with Gu Ya? So that was the reason? Su Yunjin found it amusing; this man Gu Ya really was quite stubborn.
Wasn’t it just being afraid of bitterness in dicine?
What’s there to hide about it?
With an understanding expression, Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya, making his handso face darken again. As Su Yunjin saw Gu Ya’s face growing darker, just as she was about to speak, Gu Ya grabbed the water from her hand and drank it all down in one go.
Gu Ya recovered as quickly as he fell sick. Su Yunjin took care of Gu Ya for half a day, and by the next morning, he was completely well again.
Su Yunjin felt that since Gu Ya had just fallen sick yesterday, it was best for him to rest at ho today. So she tried to persuade Gu Ya to stay ho and spend ti with her and the child.
However, Gu Ya said that Prince Ning had important matters to discuss with him that day. He had to go to the Prince Ning Residence. Since Prince Ning wanted to see Gu Ya on important business, Su Yunjin couldn’t stop him.
Gu Ya went to the Prince Ning Residence.
Su Yunjin, thinking how hard Gu Ya had been working recently, decided to have Aunt Bao and the others make a pot of chicken soup for Gu Ya to nourish him in the evening. Also, her second sister was pregnant, so she planned to pay her a visit.
Su Yunjin quickly packed up a few packages of things the Princess Rui had sent her during her pregnancy for nourishnt, along with so sour plum candies, intending to send them to her second sister together.
