“Miss Su, the case involving Miss Leng and Leng Yong will be jointly adjudicated by myself and Prince Ning. I now wish to hear about the process by which they attempted to harm you. Please outline it for .” The Prince took a sip of tea from the table, leisurely as though he were listening to a story at a teahouse.
Su Yunjin felt inexplicably angry witnessing the Prince’s deanor. Hadn’t the Prince already figured out the sequence of events where Leng Jingxian and Leng Yong tried to harm her? Especially on the day Leng Yong attempted to assassinate her; the Prince had been present, and those under Leng Yong were caught by the Prince’s subordinates and handed over to Prince Ning.
Su Yunjin wondered what the Prince’s intention was in asking her about these matters again. Why probe into events that were already known and go through the trouble of asking again? Was it entertaining?
Angrily, Su Yunjin stared at the Prince, not uttering a single word. The Prince waited for a while but did not see Su Yunjin speak; he then leisurely set down the teacup and directed his gaze back at her.

Since Su Yunjin was reluctant to speak, the Prince showed no anger, “Miss Su, since you don’t wish to respond to my questions, then let’s discuss sothing else!”

“Prince, seeing you in good spirits, I assu you’ve nearly recovered.” Holding the ointnt intended for the Prince in her hand, Su Yunjin then took it out, “Prince, this ointnt should aid your injuries; you may apply it on your wound.”
Su Yunjin approached the Prince, intending to deliver the ointnt to him and depart, only to unexpectedly find the Prince not reaching for the ointnt, but rather grabbing her wrist.
“Ah—!” Su Yunjin let out a startled cry, instinctively attempting to withdraw her hand.
