Chapter 1602: Chapter 1602: Make Him Suffer

The outside fell silent for a mont.

Su Yunjin set down the little duck plush she was using to entertain the kids.

She looked towards the doorway in confusion.

Could it be that Gu Ya left so easily?

Su Yunjin thought that was unlikely.

And sure enough.

Su Yunjin glanced over and saw a distinct shadow lingering outside the door.

She knew Gu Ya hadn’t left.

Su Yunjin felt secretly smug.

Let Gu Ya enjoy ssing with her.

Now he’s finally getting a taste of his own dicine!

Anyway, tonight she was determined not to open the door for Gu Ya.

She wanted him to learn his lesson properly.

“Mommy will sleep with you two tonight and not with Daddy, okay?”

Su Yunjin asked the two little ones, and both of them grinned widely in delight. Especially Little Tiangua, who joyfully waved his chubby little hands non-stop.

“You agree too, don’t you?”

The reply didn’t co from the kids but from Gu Ya’s voice. “Yunjin, open the door. I know I was wrong.” His voice of admission ca unexpectedly from outside, leaving Su Yunjin montarily stunned.

Gu Ya actually admitted he was in the wrong?! Su Yunjin was flabbergasted.

This was likely the first ti she’d ever heard Gu Ya apologize.

After the initial surprise, Su Yunjin found it intriguingly novel.

“Since you know you were wrong, dear husband, then tell what you did wrong,” Su Yunjin asked, putting on an air of seriousness.

Gu Ya’s apology was sincere. “My dear wife, my mistake was in saying you bit , and even more so in ntioning it in front of Second Sister and the others.”

“What else?” Su Yunjin pressed further.

There was a brief silence outside before the voice responded, “What else? Could my dear wife kindly give a hint?”

“No hints. If you can’t figure out your mistakes, then you might as well go find another room to sleep in!”

Su Yunjin refused him relentlessly.

This ti, she was determined to make Gu Ya rember the lesson. She certainly wouldn’t make it easy for him.

Otherwise, if she forgave Gu Ya too easily, he’d surely repeat the offense.

Soon, Gu Ya’s apologetic voice ca again from outside.

“Yunjin, I’m sorry. Please open up. I can’t sleep without you.”

Towards the end, his voice softened into a gentle, affectionate tone.

Su Yunjin’s heart quivered inexplicably, thumping faster and faster.

“Yunjin, really, I can’t sleep without you. If you don’t want Aunt Bao and the others to laugh at us, you better open the door soon.”

Gu Ya’s voice carried a hint of amusent. “What’s wrong? It’s nothing—just your lady wife throwing a little tantrum with . A bit of coaxing and it’ll be fine.”

Wait, Aunt Bao and the others were watching?

Su Yunjin blushed, while Gu Ya kept talking outside. “It’s really no big deal. Just that your wife took a bite out of last night, and I accidentally ntioned it, so now she’s a little upset.”

“Fine, fine. Since she won’t open the door, I’ll just go find myself another room to sleep in, then.”

Next ca the sound of Gu Ya’s footsteps heading off.

All other noises ceased.

Outside, it was eerily quiet.

Except for the chirping of so unidentified insects.

There was nothing else to hear.

Su Yunjin wanted to check if Gu Ya had really left.

She got up to open the door.

Before Su Yunjin could peek her head outside, a warm, clean, large hand suddenly grabbed her wrist, and Gu Ya slipped inside in an instant.

“You little heartless thing, were you really going to ignore if I didn’t leave?” As punishnt, Gu Ya leaned in and playfully bit her neck.

Su Yunjin realized she’d been tricked, but it was already too late.

“You fooled ?” Gu Ya hadn’t left after all, and his supposed conversation with Aunt Bao and the others was likely fabricated. There had only been Gu Ya outside, pretending to talk and feigning departure.

This infuriating man.

Su Yunjin glared at Gu Ya, who lowered his gaze to watch his petite wife in his arms with a smile.

“Not bad, you’re not entirely clueless!”
