Su Yunjin looked at the people in the restaurant. For a mont, everyone was staring at her. If she didn’t answer her second sister’s question, it would surely arouse suspicion among the others.

Without giving Su Yunjin a chance to reply.

I’m going to the Governor’s Office right now to report this to the County Magistrate and have that wolf in sheep’s clothing arrested!”
Su Ningxiu impulsively decided to go to the Governor’s Office to file a report.
Su Yunjin hurriedly stopped her.
“Second Sister, wait.” Not to ntion that the person who abducted her wasn’t Young Master Chu, even if it truly was him, the County Magistrate wouldn’t be able to do anything to him. How could he have the power to arrest a prince of a nation?
Su Ningxiu looked at Su Yunjin in confusion. “Little Sister, why are you stopping ? That despicable, shaless man abducted you. Shouldn’t we report this to the authorities?” Su Ningxiu was furious, particularly since she had just been blocked by two of Young Master Chu’s subordinates. Her anger was now boiling over.
Su Yunjin looked at the impulsive Su Ningxiu. Her second sister was great in other aspects, but her fiery temper could be quite a headache. The situation wasn’t even clear yet, and she was already rushing to report it to the authorities.
“Second Sister, listen to . Although the person who abducted is sowhat connected to Young Master Chu, it wasn’t actually soone sent by him to abduct .”
The more Su Yunjin explained, the more confused Su Ningxiu beca. “Little Sister, what’s going on? Hold on, what you just said—Second Sister doesn’t quite understand. Seeing everyone staring at her in puzzlent, Su Yunjin simplified her explanation. “Second Sister, it’s like this: the person who abducted wasn’t Young Master Chu. However, Young Master Chu does know who that person is. I just now called him outside to ask for information about that person, in order to have that person apprehended.”
This statent was a lie. Su Yunjin had called Young Master Chu outside not to gather information about that person but to distance herself from him, hoping he would never approach her again. As for that madwoman Leng Jingxian, Su Yunjin had no intention of using Young Master Chu to find her. Just thinking about that deranged woman and her two maids made Su Yunjin’s arm ache sporadically.
Being manhandled several tis today by Leng Jingxian’s two maids, Su Yunjin suspected her arm must already be swollen. She would have to apply so ointnt for the swelling later.
After Su Yunjin’s explanation, Su Ningxiu, realizing that Young Master Chu hadn’t abducted her, asked again, “Little Sister, did Young Master Chu tell you anything? Do you know where the person who abducted you is now?”
