Chapter 493 - FangSu Taunts ixu
After the clash with Zhi Ruo at the film festival, Fu ixu returned to her condo late at night. Imdiately after she woke up from sleep the next day, she went back to the Fu house in a sore mood. She didn't need to check the news headlines in order to know that she made it there last night.
Obviously, she and her well-known rival wearing the dresses from the sa collection by a newbie designer and added to the fact that they arrived at the sa ti, was surely going to make it to the headlines.
When Fu ixu returned ho close to lunch period, FangSu who had been waiting for her return, had a good laugh at her.
"It looks like you and Zhi Ruo are in synch, you two would make a good partner." FangSu said while chuckling softly.
"What's so funny about this? I was literally made a laughing stock by appearing alongside that bitch!" ixu said in an angry tone.
"Heh! watch your tone before you get punished. As much as you hate Zhi Ruo, you can't deny the fact that she has been in the industry longer than you and had a lot of influence, so appearing alongside her would surely attract so attention to you." FangSu said to her.
ixu rolled her eyes at her and said, "Who needs the attention from her side? Whenever we appear or are compared with each other, her fans tongue-lash , at least, a good number of them, so who wants that attention that cos with her rude fans behavior?"
"You two sure have a history for you to hate her so much but your fashion sense and hers matched." FangSu said with a smile.
ixu gritted her teeth at the reminder of their outfit last night. "I hate this! I really need to ask Jia Li not to sell her designs just to anybody, this is going to be an embarrassnt to her portfolio."
FangSu stared at her while trying to hide her laughter. "You can't ask Jia Li not to do business and besides, FJ has the right to the dress and not her. You really need to grow up."
After saying that, FangSu turned to walk away but ixu followed after her, "Between you and I, who needs to grow up?"
"Surely you are the one." FangSu replied with a smile as she continued with her steps without turning back.
"That's a lie! Who was the one that ca to welco because she wanted to laugh at ?" ixu said to her.
"I'm done arguing with you, I'm going to find Da Xia, I want to go out with her after lunch." FangSu said as she took the stairs.
ixu asked as she beca curious as to where she wanted to take the little princess to, "Where are you taking her to? Grandfather won't let you go anywhere with her, it's so cold outside."
FangSu glanced at her and continued in her steps, "It's not like we are going to stand in the cold. I have a heater in my car and the cafe we are going to has a heater as well. Anyway, leave it, I will just go and play building blocks with her."
FangSu and ixu found Jasmine learning instead of playing. Jia Li was teaching the little girl the Alphabets.
Seeing that it was her learning period, FangSu and ixu didn't dare to distract them. They welcod themselves and sat at a place.
Since so people just walked in, the mother and daughter spared them a few seconds glance before going back to their work.
After teaching the little bun for a while, Jia Li spoke with FangSu and ixu for a while, where the latter ntioned her not selling her dresses to people like Zhi Ruo.
Jia Li had a good laugh because she saw the news too. ixu's heart broke when she saw that Jia Li was laughing at her. When the latter saw her change in facial expression, she stopped laughing and apologized.
"Sister-in-law, don't mind ixu, how can you stop FJ from selling your dresses to their custors." FangSu said with a smile.
Jia Li smiled and said, "Alright, I'm off. You ca for Jasmine right? Please don't take her out, she is showing signs of having a cold."
FangSu and ixu had a good look at the little bun who had a book on her laps and observed her. Luckily, the book's pages were designed to be thick, so she couldn't tear it off so easily.
"Don't worry, we won't take her out." FangSu assured Jia Li before she left the room for them.
Jasmine watched as her mother walked away and she abandoned her book and wanted to follow her, FangSu and ixu blocked her path.
"Da Xia, where are you going to?" ixu asked as she winked at her.
Jasmine looked up at them before pointing at the door her mother just walked out from and said, "I want to follow my mummy."
In order not to stress the litte girl who was finding it difficult to stare at tall people like them when compared to her short height, FangSu and ixu squat in front of her with a smile.
"You want to follow your mummy? Don't worry, she will be back. I have so chocolates for you." FangSu said as she put her hand inside her pocket and brought out a chocolate bar and passed it to her.
"Thankiu!" Jasmine said to her as she accepted the chocolate.
ixu who had her gaze on the chocolate, asked FangSu, "Do you have the carton of this or what?"
She asked that question because she was always carrying chocolates in her pockets.
"I bought a pot of this for Da Xia." FangSu replied with a smile.
Jia Li who left her little daughter in the care of FangSu and ixu, went to the study to find Fu Hua who was busy working with his tablet.
When she knocked and walked in, Fu Hua raised his head to glance at her and when he saw that she was the one, he asked with a smile, "How were the lectures today?"
