Chapter 155 - Fu Hee Was Unhappy With Their Interaction
Since he first caught sight of them, Ocean seed very interested and happy while circling Jia Li, and he beca curious and wanted to know the reason.
"She can sense the baby in my stomach, that's the reason she keeps circling ." Jia Li replied.
Fu Hua frowned, even more, when he learned about it. "If she continues acting like this, it wouldn't be long before it will be suspicious when soone sees this, or are you ready to tell the family about your pregnancy?."
Fu Hua was right, if any mber of the family saw Ocean circling Jia Li like that, they would beco curious since that act was already suspicious.
Jia Li knew Fu Hua was right. She wasn't ready to tell the family she was pregnant, so she had to get Ocean to stop circling her.
"Ocean, sit beside ." Jia Li said to Ocean. Ocean being an obedient dog, brought out her tongue, and wagged its tail as she ca to sit beside Jia Li who was squatting.
Jia Li looked very happy as she touched Ocean's hair.
Jia Li stayed with Ocean for a few more minutes before she tried leaving, but she discovered that she couldn't get up as she felt pain in her legs from sweating for too long.
Fu Hua sighed and ca to help her up.
Jia Li thanked him before asking Ocean to go back inside her kennel, and she locked it up before leaving with Fu Hua.
"When they went back inside the house, the snacks Fu ChunHua asked the kitchen to prepare, was ready, so Jia Li and Fu Hua sat down to eat them up.
After enjoying the snacks while watching the Tv, Grandfather Fu called for Jia Li.
This ti around, he didn't ask her over to his study but t her in one of the smaller sitting rooms in the house.
Jia Li was surprised the old man had nothing much to say to her, because he only asked about how she was being and her studies, before talking about Fua Hua's ex-girlfriend.
"Jia Li, I know you suffered during that ti, but I'm happy everything is over, and Fu Hua settled his ss. You don't have to worry about any other thing, just eat and take good care of yourself." Grandfather Fu said to her.
"Thank you, Grandfather." Jia Li said with a smile.
Grandfather Fu smiled and talked about so other interesting matters with Jia Li, before allowing her to leave.
When Grandfather Fu t Fu Hua, he gave a hardly noticeable complint.
"Jia Li looks happy. How did she see the new house, did she like it?." Grandfather Fu asked.
"She liked it." Fu Hua replied in simple words.
"I want you two to spend a little ti here. Since Jia Li wouldn't need to be in school next week, you two can stay for a while." Grandfather Fu suggested.
Fu Hua didn't say anything in response, which was a silent agreent with what he said.
Later in the evening when Fu Hee and the remaining mber of the family ca back, they learned that Fu Hua and Jia Li were around, and went to greet them, but Fu Hee was an exception.
She was annoyed that Jia Li ca with Fu Hua. She would have been happy if Jia Li didn't co with Fu Hua, for she would have used that opportunity to introduce him to Mrs. Bai. But too bad that opportunity wasn't close.
During dinner, the scenario looked harmonic. A few tis, Fu Hua would put so side dishes on Jia Li's plate.
When Grandfather Fu saw their interaction, he was all smiles, and couldn't hide the happiness he felt.
Fu Hee had their eyes on them, so Fu Hua's gestures didn't escape her sight.
Fu Hua was annoyed to see their interaction, but she couldn't do anything about it. Grandfather Fu was present, so she couldn't berate Jia Li for not taking the food by herself.
Fu Hua could only swallow her annoyance and eat her food with bitterness in her heart.
After dinner, When Jia Li and Fu Hua were about to leave for their bedroom, Fu Hua followed them.
"Mum, do you have anything to say to us?." Fu Hua asked as suddenly stopped walking and turned to glance at Fu Hee.
Fu Hee smiled at him, but when her gaze t with Jia Li's she tolled her eyes at her.
"I will leave first." Jia Li said to Fu Hua in a soft tone and before Fu Hua could say anything to her, she had already walked away.
Fu Hua glanced back at his mother and fixed a cold gaze on her because she saw her roll her eyes at Jia Li.
"What do you want to see for?." Fu Hua asked.
"Why are you sounding cold towards ? It's been a long ti since saw you, can't I want to speak to you?." Fu Hee asked with a smile.
"What do you have to say to ?." Fu Hua asked as his tone changed for the worse. He wasn't in the mood to listen to her nag.
"I only wanted to chat with you for a while, do you have ti?." Fu Hee asked as she saw that Fu Hua was already getting angry.
"I don't have ti to chat. I want to sleep early, I have a lot of work to do in the office tomorrow, we can chat when I have ti"
After saying that to her, Fu Hua walked away, leaving his mother to stand there in the worst movie ever.
"Did your grandfather feed you sothing or what? Since you got married, your attitude had turned worse, or did that girl use a charm on you?." Fu Hee asked as she stared at the empty hallway.
She was very annoyed since her son couldn't give her a little of his ti. She forgot that he had always been that way even before he got married.
But she wouldn't seize to bla Jia Li for everything since she was looking for more reasons to hate her.
