One hour later.
Inside the library, Ishigami Yuu looked at the four Nakano sisters sitting across from him.
Aside from their hairstyles, they really looked identical.
Although he had heard about it before, seeing it with his own eyes still shocked Ishigami Yuu.
But what shocked him even more was sothing else.
Ishigami Yuu lowered his head to look at the test paper he had just finished—today was Math review.
The test was given by Sakurai Saki, mostly within the scope he had studied. Although there were a few questions he couldn't solve, the result was still quite good.
...Are there really people who can be this dumb?
( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)
Even though he had seen it many tis, Ishigami Yuu still found it hard to believe.
He secretly glanced over at the scores of the four people sitting across from him.
Umu, none of them passed.
Shuchiin Academy used half the average score of all students for the sester as the passing mark, which was around 35 points.
And yet, none of the four girls in front of him reached it!
"Itsuki, the thing I told you yesterday, you still don't rember? You're doing the test way too slowly!" Sakurai Saki sighed.
Today he had slightly increased the difficulty of the test, wanting to see how far their limits went. The result? Haa… they couldn't reach the upper limit, and the lower limit didn't even exist!
That's right, even with such terrible results, Sakurai Saki still didn't believe that was their lowest potential.
Because the test included multiple-choice questions.
Ichika relied on random guessing, and she actually guessed a decent number correctly.
Ichika: (๑>•̀๑) Ehe~
As for Yotsuba, she went even further—she directly took out an eraser and began a sacred ritual—letting the RNG Gods decide her fate.
Yotsuba: (੭˃ᴗ˂)੭ ⚀ ⚁ ⚂ ⚃ ⚄ ⚅
Relying on luck for multiple-choice questions was one thing, but the fact she planned to use the eraser for fill-in-the-blank questions was sothing Sakurai Saki couldn't tolerate.
If he hadn't reminded her, she probably would've really filled in A B C D into the blank spots—don't doubt it, Yotsuba could absolutely do sothing like that.
"If you gave just a little more ti, I could finish everything!" Nakano Itsuki insisted on proving her capability.
She could do it! She could absolutely pass, maybe even score higher.
Ishigami Yuu sneered slightly: "Itsuki-senpai, I really hope during the real test you'll also have ti to drag it out like this. The longest exams only last a bit over two hours. In-class quizzes only last one period."
Because there were now several people worse than him, Ishigami Yuu at this mont felt extrely smug and full of pride!
Ishigami: ⎛⎝( ` ᢍ ´ )⎠⎞ᵐᵘʰᵃʰᵃ
What's that saying, "there's always soone better, and always soone worse"?
Japan has over a hundred million people—there's always soone more hopeless than you—Ishigami Yuu had truly realized that!
Sakurai Saki brought him here exactly to nurture his self-confidence, so he didn't say anything.
"Ishigami-kun, weren't you also at the bottom?" Nakano Itsuki protested.
Hearing that, Ishigami Yuu imdiately held up his test paper.
The score on the test shone like the sun, causing Nakano Itsuki to montarily be unable to look directly at it!
Itsuki: ˏˋ ☼ ˎˊ˗(∩˃o˂∩)
Terrifying!
Is this what overwhelming dominance in scores looks like? The gap between passing and failing was like an endless chasm!
"So annoying!" Nakano Itsuki said through gritted teeth.
Though she was furious, the truth was that her score really wasn't as high as his!
Moreover, the other party was in a lower grade than her.
"Ishigami is the student council treasurer, being good at Math is normal," Sakurai Saki said in consolation.
"Miku did pretty well this ti, just a little short of reaching 30 points." He personally set the passing threshold for this test at 30 points.
"You'll definitely pass next ti."
Nakano Miku never really cared about grades that much, she just lacked strong motivation to study. In reality, she wasn't stupid—last year she was planning to give up, since none of her sisters liked studying, so she didn't feel like trying alone either.
"What about ! What about !"
(˶ > ᗜ < ˶)/
Nakano Yotsuba raised her hand, full of anticipation for Sakurai Saki's evaluation.
"Umu, you have a lot of potential to improve." Sakurai Saki lied as naturally as breathing.
"Yay~!"
✧。◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜✧*。
Yotsuba cheered happily.
Ishigami Yuu had a strange look on his face. Could it be that Yotsuba-senpai really didn't understand the true aning of that sentence?
"Itsuki. The questions you answered have a very high accuracy rate, this score is very comndable. At least it proves that you still grasp last year's knowledge quite well." Sakurai Saki did not spare praise.
Although this test was all basic types, the kind with examples in the textbook, Itsuki's foundation was indeed quite solid. Or it could be said, her morization ability was still decent.
As for her flexible adaptability… um, judging by how she did the multiple-choice questions, having to guess each one, it definitely wasn't much better.
"Ichika." Sakurai Saki looked at the last person.
"Huh? Sensei-chan~ what's up?" Nakano Ichika asked curiously.
"Not bad on the test."
"Thanks." Ichika unconsciously touched the corner of her eye.
For today's Math test, Sakurai Saki had ntioned it since yesterday, so last night she studied for a long ti.
"That matter, you still have to work hard on it."
"Umu." Nakano Ichika smiled and nodded at him.
