I shivered with discomfort after reading the Honkai Impact fic: Invictus. I couldn't continue reading the book after reading up to chapter 24, even though there are still 200 more chapters, but no, I've had enough of all the suspense in that book. I read the book on the recomndation of one of you and I also felt optimistic after seeing the reviews of the book that had a lot of 4/5 stars. At first I felt fine reading the book, at least until chapter 14 where the MC let the won nad i who had a close relationship with him beco the lover of another man nad Kevin. I threw my Mousepad on the floor while reading that chapter, and I knelt down while grabbing my own hair with annoyance in my heart! I didn't care if that author read my complaint, I didn't care because I was really annoyed with that book of it. My mood beca bad, luckily I had made a daily chapter before reading the book today. I know a lot of people thought the book was good, but not for , sorry. I know people's tastes vary so I won't complain about why people liked the book. I'm just complaining about what I personally feel to everyone, because I wouldn't feel comfortable if I didn't tell others about the grievances in my heart. Okay, back to the discussion about the book. The book is pretty good and it's the best Honkai Impact fic I've ever read because the author really knows a lot about Honkai Impact lore that I myself only even know the nas of a few characters from the ga. I appreciate and admire how passionate the author was in putting his Honkai Impact knowledge into his book. But unfortunately I couldn't continue reading the book because the plot and drama in the book made my nerves very tense, I was too ntally weak to read a novel with that level of tension. Starting from distributing the female character who has a close relationship with the MC to other male characters, the author probably did it because he wanted to replicate sothing in the ga version or... I don't know. Then the character assassination, I honestly don't mind character assassination, but the plot and dialog of that character made tense, especially when I saw the reaction of the MC and that woman nad i who seed to feel fine after their parents died. I'm not demanding realism, I just felt that my nerves were getting strained reading the plot and drama in the book after the ntal attack incident in chapter 14 that made unable to continue reading more than 24 chapters. By the way I know the MC will have a lot of won in his harem according to the chapter with the harem list I read, but I've already given up on reading the book so thanks! The book was good, just not for . I'm a person who prefers to read unrealistic books with unrealistic character relationships, as long as the MC and the heroine in the book I read look compatible and have a relationship that is pleasing to the eye, for example like a harem without Yuri, no Yuri objects, no bitch in the MC's harem, the heroines loves the MC more than her job, no sex friend objects, no overly realistic character relationships, no objects such as MC's son or MC's male family being horny for won in MC's harem, no Yuri in MC's harem, no idiot MC letting his woman dance with other n or being excessively touched by other n, no MC letting his woman train male disciples who are in love with his woman, no MC distributing heroines close to him to other n, No MC would let his woman create a won-only sect or group where all the won there hate n, and they don't know that their leader already has a lover or husband like the MC, so when they see the MC they do things like testing the MC whether he is worthy to be their leader's lover or not, and the woman herself even allows all that to happen, not reprimanding the won in her sect/group when they treat the MC like that.
