"They’re not going to co."
"Of course they are!"
"No, they’re not!"
"Why are you being a bumr?"
"I’m not, you’re just being dumb."
"So you don’t think that they would want to join us?"
"Babe, I don’t even want to join us."
"Ahh, whatever, you’re just a boring terd."
"Did you just call a piece of shit?"
"No. I called you a boring terd. That’s not the sa thing."
Kai created a portal and stuck his head through. "Gwen, Nadya, Amaya, co here!"
Taking his head out of the portal, Kai looked at Kyana with a grin on his face as if telling her that they all are going to be interested.
"Hey Kai, what’s up?" Gwen gave him a kiss.
"I missed you." Nadya hugged him and then gave him a kiss.
Amaya jumped on his neck and got comfortable.
"I have a question to ask you three. Would you be interested in going on an adventure together like the old days? You see, there’s a hero trapped in ti, and I want to rescue her. We will fight cool monsters called Chrono-Beasts who can eat ti!"
"Oh, you motherfucker!" Kyana knew that if he explained it like that, they would agree to co along because even she had to admit that it sounded cool.
"Hell yeah! I’m always down to get my claws dirty!" Amaya would always be with Kai no matter what, so it wasn’t surprising that she agreed right away.
"Wow, this sounds pretty interesting. I’m on board." Gwen nodded
"Hmm. I don’t know. It doesn’t sound that fun." Nadya didn’t really care for it. She actually enjoyed hanging out and being a mother to the kids.
"Oh, I forgot to ntion that an entire city was trapped in ti along with the hero, and that was over one thousand years ago. So technically, you’ll be exploring the past." Kai knew this would get Nadya’s attention.
"Really? If so, then yeah, I’ll join. Now it sounds really fun." She agreed
"Ha! Fuck you, Kyana."
"Ugh, you girls are traitors!"
Gwen furrowed her brows. "Did we do sothing wrong?"
"Nah, she just assud you all wouldn’t have agreed. She said that you guys aren’t that interested in adventuring anymore."
"Oh, well, that’s true. But this is different. Besides, I miss hanging out with you." Gwen leaned against Kai’s body, pushing Amaya’s legs out of the way.
"Stop touching , you lizard."
"Shut up, you house cat."
"Hiss! What was that?!"
"Want to burn that stupid ass fur of yours?!"
’Ahh, I missed this so much!’
"Um, Kai? We’re just going on this adventure for fun, right? We’re not actually becoming adventurers again, are we?" Nadya hoped it wasn’t the latter.
"What? No, definitely not. This is just sothing for fun, so you don’t have to worry about the adventure license and shit. We’re not doing that anymore."
"Oh, thank goodness. I was hoping you wouldn’t go back to being like that."
---
Kai slamd his adventurer’s license on the receptionist’s desk with a huge smile on his face.
"Six S-Rank adventurers and one S-Rank party, we would like to take on the hidden city quest, please."
All of his girls were groaning out of annoyance behind him.
"Um, just so you know, no one ever makes it back from that quest. Are you sure you want to take it?" The man asked
"Positive." Kai nodded
"Okay." He handed Kai the slip and registered him in their system, which simply ant that Kai’s na was written next to the quest, telling the guild that soone was currently on it.
"Thank you, have a nice day."
Kai walked out of the guild with a huge smile on his face.
"You motherfucker!" Amaya tackled him to the ground.
"OOOOF!"
"Amaya, hold him there!" Sasha rubbed her elbow, then landed on his back.
"Oww!"
Gwen couldn’t believe that he was actually doing this. "Really, Kai, do you have like an adventurer disease or sothing?"
"You girls just don’t know how to have fun." Kai got up, and Amaya and Sasha were still clinging to his body.
"At least he didn’t make us start from F-Rank this ti." Kyana knew this was going to happen, so she didn’t have the sa reaction.
"Ugh, whatever. Let’s go."
Kai stared at Gwen.
"What?"
"You said, let’s go." He repeated her.
"Yeah?"
"So, transform into a dragon."
"You plan on riding ?"
"Is that a problem? You ride all the ti."
She blushed so hard that she grabbed Kai by the collar and smothered his lips with her own, pushing her tongue into his mouth.
"You’re lucky you’re so fucking sexy."
"Pwhahaha! Was your first instinct to kiss to make yourself feel less embarrassed?"
"Shut up!" She turned into a massive dragon, nearly giving the people a heart attack. "Or I will fry you to a crisp!"
"Hahaha! Look, everyone, it’s an embarrassed dragon. How cute. AHHHHHHH!" Kai was indeed burned to a crisp.
When they all boarded Gwen, she flapped her wings, generating tons of wind underneath them, and lifted into the sky before taking off.
"Where to?" She asked
"Hmm. If this map is correct, then there should be a village at the end of this river. So just follow the water until it forks."
"Got it. Should I go fast or keep this pace?"
Kai leaned back on Gwen. "Keep the pace. It’s nice to relax in the air like this. The wind blowing on my face feels good."
"Gwen, your back is comfortable." Sasha rubbed her scales
"Thank you. And that tickles."
"Can we co back to this continent once you finish everything you have to do?" Nadya asked.
Kai wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close. "Like the place?"
She nodded. "The way they use magic is fascinating. It reminds of Astalith."
"Yeah, I agree. They call it Ki here, and they circulate mana in their dantian, not their mana core in the heart."
"I know, it’s amazing. But the mana thod you have us use also circulates mana in the dantian as well, right?"
"Yup. But that’s it. The techniques they use are completely different from what we use."
"Right. I’ve noticed that their Ki mainly amplifies their body’s physical nature more so than their magical nature."
"Nice observation. You will make a great scholar."
"I actually wanted to be a scholar before my family died."
Kai hugged her tighter. "Then once everything is over, let’s make that a reality."
