"Kai! Stop throwing up and help !" Erald shouted as she killed another demonic hound.
"Ugh, yeah, yeah, I’m coming."
Erald had easily killed the first ten demonic hounds, but then more and more kept coming out of nowhere until the number reached well over two hundred. At that point, she started struggling.
Kai wasn’t actually vomiting, though; he just wanted to see how Erald could handle herself. The sll was disgusting, though.
Kai launched himself into the action, taking out his blades, and started killing the hounds left and right.
"Careful! Their blood is acidic as well!"
"It’s so cute hearing you worry about ?" Kai smiled as he cut the head off another hound.
Even as they killed dozens of hounds, they kept piling on. One lunged at Eald’s head, but Kai quickly stabbed it with his chained blade, dragging the beast toward him where he then sliced off its head.
"Erald, hold on tight," Kai shouted
"To what?"
"Uhh, the air?" He threw her into the air using telekinesis.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Kai started spinning his chained blades vertically at super high speeds; the wind it generated could be felt all around them. "Ti to die, you ugly mutts!"
Slamming his blades into the ground with all his might, amplified by his insane magic power, the ground literally erupted like a volcano, completely incinerating every hound in sight. The spectacle could be seen by everyone in the class, and they were amazed by Kai’s power.
Before landing, he hypercooled the ground, making it safe to stand on, and when he landed, he held out his arms to catch Erald.
"D-Don’t do that again!" Her body was shaking, and her throat was dry from all the screaming she had done. To emphasize her seriousness, she pinched Kai’s cheeks, but that made him giggle instead of taking her seriously.
"Now that those annoying dogs are handled. Wanna fight a stronger demonic beast?" Kai asked
"Sure. Just let catch my BREATHHHHHHHHH." Kai had blasted off into the air and flew toward one of the stronger monsters he sensed in the area.
When he landed, Erald instantly threw up.
"Hey, watch where you’re aiming that shit!"
"Bleghhhh! S-Shut up, you rat."
"Haha, my bad." He rubbed her back and helped her get all her lunch out of her system. Once she finished, he healed her and focused back on hunting the demonic beasts.
"So, where is the stronger beast?" She asked
"Should be right there." He pointed to a rock in the distance.
"The rock?"
"No, it’s behind the rock."
"Oh. Let’s go then."
When they reached the rock, both of them flipped over it like badasses and prepared to attack the monster, but what they saw made them stare at the beast in shock.
"Are you seeing what I’m seeing?" Kai asked
"I-I think so."
"So, if I’m not mistaken, you can also see this cute creature standing in front of us?"
"Y-Yes."
"Chirp?" The creature made a cute sound and looked confused.
Kai’s heart skipped a beat. "Ahhhhhh! It’s so cuteeee! I wanna keep it! I’ll na it spooky, because its cuteness spooked us."
The creature was a small, cute kangaroo-rat-looking animal with black fur, a white strip on its back, and red eyes. It was nibbling on so type of food while giving Kai and Erald a cute stare.
"W-We can’t keep it. It’s a demonic beast." Erald really wanted to pet the cute creature. She liked cute things, but she held herself back.
"But it’s so cute!" Kai argued
"Who the fuck is cute, bub?" A deep voice asked
Kai laughed. "You, silly." His body tensed, and he regained focus. Kai looked down at the creature, then at Erald, who was extrely shocked.
"D-Did you hear that?" He asked, looking around to see if anyone else was here.
"I’m down here, dumbass!"
Kai looked down and saw the cute kangaroo-rat speaking.
"Y-You can talk?"
"Is that surprising? You can talk as well, fucking dumbass."
"W-What? Hold on. What?"
"Fucking dumbass humans, always thinking that we’re stupid creatures. Do I look like an animal you can pet?" The demonic beast asked
"Do you want my honest answer or the answer you’re looking for?"
"Honest answer."
"Yes, you look like an animal I can pet." Kai said with no sha.
"Ugh, fine, you can pet . But ONLY once. No more than that."
"Y-Yes!" Kai reached down to pet the small creature. He was looking forward to feeling its soft fur.
’Maybe I should get a cat.’ He thought to himself.
The mont the creature saw that Kai’s hand was in range, it opened its mouth to attack. Its mouth stretched five feet in all directions, tentacles lunged at Kai, and its mouth was filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth that extended onto the tentacles.
"KYAAAAAAAA!!!" Erald scread
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Kai instantly teleported himself and Erald a few feet away to avoid being eaten by the kangaroo-rat.
The rat scoffed. "Damn, you got away."
"What the fuck was that?!"
"T-Tentacles?"
"I’m a demonic beast. Did you seriously think I was so rodent?"
"Yes! Also, Erald, beware of those tentacles, for so reason, females usually get taken by those. It’s a whole trend or sothing."
"N-Noted."
"Stupid fucking humans! Thinking that you’re better than us!"
"I never said that." Kai raised his hand.
"Shut up! Since you didn’t die peacefully, I’ll just hunt you down!" The rat started to grow and transford into a massive, muscular kangaroo-rat, and its mouth tentacles dangled down its chin.
"Now! I’ll eat you both for dinner!"
"Kai! Get ready! This might be a hard-"
The kangaroo-rat instantly died.
When Erald turned to Kai, she saw that he fired a beam from his finger that killed the beast in one shot.
"I’m not fighting that fucking hentai monster. Let’s go, Erald, let’s find a real beast to kill. One that has claws or sharp teeth. Not fucking tentacles."
"S-Sure."

"Hmm? The scarred land is currently being occupied by humans?" The horned demon used his power to connect to the demonic beasts in the land, seeing who was brave enough to do such a thing.
When he noticed that it was the Hero Academy, he nearly let them do as they pleased, but then he noticed soone familiar.
"Kai LuForia?! Ohohohoho! This is great. Franklin!" The demon called.
"Yes, master?"
"You are my most loyal and trusted servant. Go to the scarred lands and kill all the humans there. While you’re at it, test the power of Kai LuForia. I’ll be watching."
"Yes, master."
Franklin vanished, and the horned demon smirked.
