Kai’s carriage would have taken them two weeks to arrive at Vaudrille with stops along the way. During this ti, the four of them relaxed, chatted, and had a bunch of sex.
Unfortunately, that fun ca to a halt when a massive wyvern randomly appeared out of nowhere and started attacking them while they were flying.
"It’s gaining on us!" Amaya screeched, hopping into Kai’s lap.
"Gwen! Go out there and show it who’s boss!" Kai smiled.
"Are you crazy?!"
"Yes!" Kai didn’t hesitate to respond.
"That’s a fucking wyvern! Do you want to die?!"
BOOOM
The wyvern crashed into the carriage.
"This is a great opportunity to get its core! You wanna get stronger, right? Now’s the ti!"
Gwen looked at Kai, then at the wyvern, then back at Kai, then back at the wyvern. She grumbled under her breath, rummaged her hands through her hair like a madman.
"Fine. FINE! I’ll face off against it! I got stronger and I’m confident in my power!" She slapped her cheeks and took a deep breath.
"Here I go! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Jumping out of the carriage, she flew toward the wyvern with a newfound confidence.
"Yeah! That’s my girl!"
"Let ’em have it, Gwen!"
"Rip out its heart!"
The wyvern smacked Gwen out of the air like a fly, even looking at Kai with a ’Seriously?’ expression.
"That did not go as I expected it to," Kai admitted
"Sa." Amaya nodded.
"She got swatted out of the air like a piece of paper," Sasha said in shock.
The wyvern opened its mouth, charging a massive breath attack of pure mana.
"Kai!"
"Do sothing!"
"Shut up, you stupid lizard." He clenched his fists, and the Wyvern’s mouth snapped shut as soon as it released its attack, blowing up its own head in the process.
"You couldn’t have done that earlier?" Sasha asked, punching him in the arm. She clutched her chest since her heart was pounding on it as if it wanted to leave her body.
"Fun, my love, fun."
They landed on the ground, spotting Gwen hanging from a tree branch, groaning.
"I’m good." She gave a thumbs-up. "I’m good."
"That was aweso, Gwen! You really showed that wyvern who’s boss!" Kai smiled, also giving her a thumbs-up.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" She hopped down from the tree, looking at the dead wyvern that landed next to them.
"Right before you got knocked away, you punched its face and took it off! It was so sick!"
"I-I did that?" She looked at Sasha and Amaya for clarification.
"Hell yeah, girl!"
"It was so cool."
"Ha, haha, I did it! I really did it! I killed that wyvern!" She jumped up and down, celebrating her victory.
"I really showed that bastard who’s boss, huh?!"
"No." Kai killed her victory dance. "I killed it. You got your ass handed to you."
"Pfft!"
"Hehe."
Gwen’s face turned red from embarrassnt. She glared at Kai, then jumped on his back, chomping on his shoulder.
"Ouch! Are you an animal?!"
"You bastard! I thought I actually killed that wyvern!"
"Haha, no one told you to believe ! OUCH! Stop biting !"
"Not until you apologize!"
"Okay, okay! I apl-ouchhhh! Let apologize!"
"NO!"

"Finally, a wyvern core! I can grow horns and a tail now! Now I need a dragon core until I can grow my wings! I can’t fucking wait!" Gwen munched on the wyven core as if it were her last al of her life.
Sasha scooted away from the munching dragon, not wanting to get blood on her outfit while looking slightly disgusted.
"Y’all wanna camp out here tonight?" Kai asked
"I’m down." Amaya grinned
"Sure."
Gwen kept munching on the core.
"Sweet, we’re all in agreent. I’ll set up camp."
It didn’t take long for Kai to set up camp since everything was already put together in his inventory.
He took out their large tent and everything they would need for the night. After that, he started cooking dinner.
"Can I help?" Sasha asked
"Sure."
Unlike Gwen, Sasha actually knew how to cook and was really good at it. She enjoyed learning the recipes Kai would prepare for them, and she only wanted to eat his food since it was the best she had ever tasted.
’Thank god for the status window having a seasoning section. Oh yeah, fuck you, Leo. Haven’t said that in a minute. Gotta make sure he knows how much I appreciate him. Fucking bastard.’

"Kai, you’re a dick, you know that?" Leo said, shaking his head while eating nacho seasoning-covered popcorn.

"Food is ready!" Kai had two plates in his hand, giving them to Amaya and Gwen.
"Yay! Ti to dig in!"
Gwen smiled. "Thanks, babe."
"No problem."
Sasha handed Kai his plate, and they all sat down to eat while chatting with each other.
Then, a few minutes later, they all heard movents nearby. Kai’s barrier didn’t detect danger, but that didn’t an whatever was coming wasn’t dangerous.
But honestly, they weren’t scared. Not only were they all strong, but Kai’s barrier also protected them, so they continued to talk about many random things.
"O-Over there! I see the camp. Quickly! This way!" A man shouted.
Around ten people erged from the bushes, all of them either wearing mage or knight attire. Judging by how pristine their attire was, it was clear that they belonged to so important organization.
When they got closer to Kai’s camp, the leading Knight suddenly bumped his head into an invisible wall, which was Kai’s barrier.
"Huh? W-What did I just hit?" He wondered.
"Let see." The mage placed her hand on the barrier and felt mana flowing through it. "It’s a barrier. Those people probably put it up so they would be safe while they camped out here."
"Smart."
"E-Excuse , kind people?" The knight asked
Kai, who wanted to avoid them, rolled his eyes and turned around. "What?"
