I am a rank S Hero, Lightnova, and this is the first ti I have ever felt so angry at a Villain.

I saw a female bank teller who had lost her arm.

If she wasn’t taken to the hospital imdiately, I was sure she would bleed to death.

I had to resolve this quickly.

Lightnova then advanced at the speed of light towards Indigo, but it was as if Indigo had predicted it.

Indigo then dodged Lightnova’s blow.

Lightnova didn’t want to lose, so when Indigo dodged, she used her light attack towards Indigo.

The light shot quickly towards Indigo’s face.

But for so reason, she felt that her attack didn’t hit.

Sure enough, Indigo had teleported away before the light could hit him.

He teleported near the frightened citizens.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down, Miss Lightnova, I don’t want any violence here."

"...You say that, but you already took soone’s arm here."

Indigo then glanced at the female bank teller who had lost her arm.

"Ah... don’t worry about that, I’ll give him compensation."

"Compensation? Don’t joke around..."

"I’m not joking right now, Miss Lightnova."

With that, Indigo snapped his fingers, and the woman disappeared.

"Calm down, she won’t die. I sent her to a hospital."

Seeing this, Lightnova beca even more upset. Playing with people’s lives, isn’t that cruel?

*On Indigo’s side*

Sohow, I managed to survive the attacks.

If I had been even a second late, I would have died for sure.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down, Miss Lightnova. I don’t want any violence here."

"...You say that, but you already took soone’s arm here."

I then glanced at the cashier woman.

It was true, that woman lost her arm because of . If she wasn’t taken to the hospital imdiately, she would lose a lot of blood and die.

"Ah... don’t worry about that, I’ll give her compensation."

Hearing that, Lightnova’s face looked even more annoyed.

"Compensation? Don’t joke around..."

"I’m not joking right now, Miss Lightnova."

With that, I snapped my fingers, focused my power on the cashier woman, and teleported her to a hospital.

"Calm down, she won’t die. I sent her to a hospital."

I could see Lightnova’s face growing angrier and more annoyed, and I smiled behind my mask.

"Miss Lightnova, let’s negotiate for a mont. Calm down first."

I then sat down on a chair, facing Lightnova.

Although she looked very angry and upset, she tried to calm herself down.

"All right... tell what you want to negotiate,"

said Lightnova in a calm tone.

"It’s simple. If you let leave here with the money from this bank, I will guarantee the safety of all the residents here."

"I can’t do that,"

Lightnova replied in a calm but slightly raised tone.

"Take all the money from here and then run away. That ans you win."

Oh? Just like in the webtoon, Lightnova really hates losing.

"Hmm... alright... how about this, I’ll take half the money from here and leave safely."

"It seems like this negotiation has reached a dead end."

Lightnova looked increasingly angry, and I beca more and more panicked.

"Alright, alright, how about just a quarter! That way, everything will be peaceful."

"..."

Lightnova was silent for a mont.

"Alright, a quarter is enough."

Phew... thank goodness she agreed.

With that, I got up from my seat.

"Good... Alright, thank you."

A Villain thanking a Hero—it sounds strange, but it’s pretty exciting.

With that, I walked to the cashier and took a quarter of the bank’s money.

*On Lightnova’s side*

"Alright, if it’s only a quarter, then that’s enough."

Damn... why do I have to go through this right now?

I’m an S-rank Hero, yet I can’t catch a single bastard who only relies on teleportation.

But if I’m being honest, he can sense that right now, with his current strength, he can’t defeat the Villain in front of him.

He also hasn’t seen the full power of this Villain, so he is quite cautious and accepts the negotiation.

Indigo... who is he really? There is no data at all about him. Is he a villain from abroad? But intelligence says that there is no data about Indigo abroad either.

All I know right now is his annoying teleportation power.

After seeing Indigo take a quarter of the bank’s money.

Indigo then turned to Lightnova.

"Well then, see you again, Miss Lightnova."

Indigo appeared to tip his hat as if paying respects to Lightnova.

With that, he disappeared, teleporting off to who knows where.

"Damn... this is so annoying..."

said Lightnova, clenching her fists tightly.

*A few hours later*

Ji-hye arrived at the hero association office.

"Welco, Miss Ji-hye,"

greeted the security guard at the door, opening it for Ji-hye.

Ji-hye then hurried to the director’s office.

*In the director’s office*

"I’m sorry, Ji-hye, but our intelligence has said that there is no information about a villain nad Indigo Reign."

"What!? There must be at least one or two pieces of information about him."

"We’ve tried, but there’s nothing."

"Huh..."

Ji-hye then sighed deeply.

"What’s wrong? Why do you look so upset?"

"Of course I’m upset! He’s the first person to make feel this way since I beca a Hero!"

"Hahahaha."

The director then laughed out loud.

"Director, this isn’t funny at all."

Ji-hye replied coldly.

"Haha... ah... I’m sorry, I got carried away, Ji-hye, I know you’re strong, but you shouldn’t be so arrogant."

"Then, how do you feel when facing an opponent like that?"

asked the director in a soft tone.

"He’s really weird, annoying, and irritating. Every ti I try to catch him, he always teleports, and he also has incredible reflexes. I know this because he dodges my light-fast punches."

"Oh? Doesn’t that an he’s very dangerous?"

asked the director with a curious expression.

"Yes, he’s very dangerous, and when I fought him earlier, I could feel that he was holding back."

"Holding back when facing an S-rank Hero..."

said the curious director, stroking his chin.

Whatever it is, Lightnova will try to get back at Indigo for humiliating him like this.

*On the other hand, in a small house in a slum area*

I walked weakly.

Damn... it turns out using teleportation power to move soone requires a lot of energy.

I then sat down on my chair.

"Hah... I guess I’m pretty lucky."

Yeah... that’s right, I’m pretty lucky to have survived death.

Lucky I have teleportation power, otherwise my head would have been blown apart by the light he shot earlier.

As expected of the main character, he is indeed very strong.

Although the story is still in its early stages, which ans Lightnova is still quite weak.

Like in the webtoon, Lightnova at the beginning of the story is an S-rank Hero, but even though he is S-rank, it doesn’t an he is very strong when facing other Villains.

There’s even a Chapter where Lightnova is overwheld fighting an A-rank Villain, Pure Nature.

There will co a ti when Lightnova truly becos an S-rank Hero, with power that’s truly unmatched, even the strongest Villains will be overwheld fighting him.

That’s what’s called improvent.

The more experience and practice you have, the stronger you will beco.

But in the original story, Lightnova is definitely not a naive woman.

Her mind is constantly being trained by force.

Even though this is for the sake of improvisation for a hero, I think it’s a bit excessive.

I hope I can et the author of this webtoon and punch him for turning such a beautiful and kind woman into that.

I then lay down on a spring bed, which was uncomfortable but at least better than lying on the floor.

I then closed my eyes to rest my body because I had used up a lot of energy today.

*In the morning*

I went to an illegal facility operating in a slum area.

I entered the area easily and sneaked into the building.

When I entered, it was quite dark inside.

In the webtoon, this place was where Professor Teros, an S-rank villain, conducted various experints on the children they had kidnapped.

Since this villain would be quite troubleso in the future, it was better for to destroy him now.

I opened a door and entered a very dark room, blending in with my all-black clothes, hat, mask, coat, and cloak.

I then turned on the light switch in the room and saw many cages containing children around 11-14 years old.

I then closed the door behind so that no one would disturb .

I glanced around the room and saw that the children were afraid of . They probably thought I was part of Professor Teros’s group.

"Damn... this is too cruel. They’re just children who want to have fun,"

I muttered to myself.

I then walked slowly forward.

I initially intended to release all the children here.

But I paused for a mont, noticing a 14-year-old boy with brown hair.

He is Lee Donghyun, a man who will beco an S-rank villain in the future, and he will be the second stage’s final boss in the storyline.

Lee Donghyun glanced at fearfully, looking as if he was hugging a brown-haired girl, as if protecting her.

Of course, I knew who that girl was. She was Lee Donghyun’s younger sister, Lee Mira. The reason Donghyun beca a villain was because of Lee Mira’s death.

"Hmm... do you want to be free?"

Donghyun looked hesitant and afraid when he saw .

"Will you free everyone here?"

Donghyun asked . Of course, I would free all the children who had been kidnapped here, because most of the children here were future villains who had been traumatized by Professor Teros’ experints.

"Of course, but on one condition."

Donghyun looked tremulous, afraid of the condition I had set.

"Join and beco my partner. I need soone knowledgeable like you."

After I said that, Donghyun seed to pause for a mont.

Mira, who glanced at , also seed to like my offer.

"can... can I bring my little sister too?"

"Of course, I promise I’ll take care of you both."

They looked hesitant.

It was only natural for them to hesitate; even a fool would hesitate if given a good offer by a man wearing all black and a mask.

"Alright... I accept the terms."

"Great, then wait a mont, I’ll release everyone here."

Thankfully, he accepted it. If not, I would have had to force him.

So, I walked to the center, then stretched out my hand and opened my fist, releasing my dark blue light and spreading it. The dark blue light hit the iron cage.

The iron cage instantly lted, and the children there couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

It was only natural. Even if I were one of them, I would be amazed too.

*A few minutes later*

"Everyone, wait here and don’t go anywhere. I’ll defeat—I an, I’ll defeat the person who kidnapped you."

I walked toward the exit door. Before opening it, I spoke.

"And one more thing, don’t let anyone else in here except . I’ll say 221 as the key code, okay?"

"Okay!"

Donghyun replied enthusiastically.

With that, I opened the exit door and went out.

I closed the door, hearing a click from inside, aning it had been locked from the inside.

I then walked toward the main room.

*A few minutes later*

How long had I been walking? It felt like I had killed everyone I saw on my way here.

Behind , I could see many dead n with tattoos and firearms.

Opening the door to the main room, I saw Professor Teros conducting an experint on a child’s body.

The professor then stopped his experint and turned around to face .

As expected of an S-rank villain, their danger instincts were very strong.

"Who are you!? How did you get in here!? Aren’t there hundreds of people guarding outside!?"

"Ah... you an those helpless people? They’re all dead now, only you remain."

"You’re crazy! There’s no way I’m going to die just like that!"

Of course, he wasn’t going to give up easily.

The professor seed to be taking out a toxin weapon.

He fired the toxin weapon at my body, and of course I dodged it imdiately.

I walked slowly towards him while avoiding his shots.

Actually, I could have just teleported behind him and killed him, but I just wanted to look cool.

"Ugh!! Stop dodging!!!"

"Are you stupid? No, it seems you’re worse than that. Even a fool knows they have to keep dodging when they’re being attacked."

"No! No! Don’t co closer!!"

I walked slowly toward him. He kept shooting at , but I dodged them easily.

"Rember my na until the end of your life. My na is Indigo Reign. A dark blue light will accompany you and your final monts... Enjoy your new life in hell."

Once I was very close to him, I ford my fingers into a gun shape and pointed it at his chin.

BOOM-

Professor Teros’s head exploded.

His body fell lifelessly to the ground. I then glanced at the child being used as an experint.

It seed that the child was still alive, suffering without anesthesia. This was truly cruel.

The child glanced at , as if begging to end his life.

"...If only I had co earlier... maybe I could have saved you. I’m sorry."

With that, I pointed my finger at the child’s head.

BOOOM-

*a few monts later*

I returned to where the children were.

I knocked on the door.

"221"

The door opened imdiately; the key was used by Lee Donghyun.

Thus, I managed to save myself and 78 children.

We walked toward the building’s exit.

On every street, there were many dead n with tattoos and weapons.

"Don’t worry about them, they’re dead, I defeated them."

That’s what I said to the children. The children looked scared and trembled, but they also felt relieved.
