The Hero is Hunting me! Chapter 1: Webtoon

On a quiet night.

I was walking ho from the minimarket.

As I walked, I suddenly felt incredibly dizz

I closed my eyes for a mont and suddenly found myself in an alley.

And there was a picture of a woman with golden, slightly white hair wearing a tight white outfit.

I imdiately knew I wasn’t in my real world.

This was my favorite webtoon world, and the woman on the flyer was Lightnova, a newly appointed S-rank hero.

Damn... I actually didn’t want to be in this webtoon because I already knew how cruel and dark the storyline was.

This webtoon has more haters than supporters.

That’s because the author of this webtoon has crafted a very difficult storyline, with plots and cruelty everywhere.

As soone who fears death, I don’t like this.

*Months later*

I sat on a chair in a small house in the slums.

I was getting used to the situation where villains suddenly appeared and destroyed everything.

In this world, I used my real na, Yoo Jinhoo.

No matter what, I’m an anomaly in this world. Of course, I don’t have an identity card in this world, which ans I’m illegal.

After further investigation, I learned that if I, now 23, went to the civil registration office and said I wanted to apply for an identity card, I would be imdiately arrested.

That’s because in this world of Korea, applying for an identity card for more than 20 years is considered illegal.

The police would certainly interrogate , although I might be able to lie to them, given that this world has more advanced technology than mine, including lie detectors.

If I exposed myself to this world and I were in trouble, I’d be screwed.

I reached out and clenched my fist, and suddenly a dark blue light appeared.

I finally learned that I also have powers in this world.

I then walked out of the house and headed to the TV store.

I wasn’t there to buy a TV, but to watch the news.

She’s very strong and beautiful, and many people like her, and I’m one of them.

Then I thought... why don’t I just beco a Villain? Maybe that would help survive in this crazy world.

*The next day, on a bright morning*

At a bank, where there were many custors.

I sat in a chair provided by the bank, wearing an all-black suit, black hat, black tie, black shoes, and a black cape.

It looked strange but cool. How did I get this cool outfit? Of course, I stole it from an expensive clothing store.

So I put on my black mask, which covers my entire face. This way, my identity will be secure.

I then stood up and walked to the cashier.

"Hand over all the money in this bank, or you won’t see tomorrow."

The female cashier looked confused. She knew this was a robbery, but alone and unard? It would be considered a joke.

I shot my dark blue light at her right arm, and it instantly disappeared.

The woman looked shocked and then scread in pain. Everyone in the room heard it.

The other cashiers approached the woman in pain.

"Once again, I won’t repeat myself. Hand over all the money in this bank."

*In the Seoul University building*

Lightnova, or more precisely, Ji-hye, was seen eating in the campus cafeteria.

Ji-hye is a student and an S-rank Hero known as Lightnova.

Ji-hye prefers to hide her identity as a Hero.

She does this because she wants a peaceful life on campus.

Suddenly, another woman arrives carrying a plate of food. It’s Jin-ah, Ji-hye’s only friend on campus.

"Ji-hye, you’ve been looking tired lately. Have you been too focused on that thesis the professor gave you?"

"What? Oh... yeah, I even stayed up late to work on that damn thesis..."

That was a lie, of course. Ji-hye had finished her thesis early, and she looked tired because of the many villains that had appeared recently.

"Co on, don’t take that thesis so seriously. You need to take care of your health too, you know?"

With that, Ji-hye relaxed and rested her head on the table.

"Yeah, yeah... I know that too. I’m not stupid. You know that I’m the best and smartest student here!"

Ji-hye said with a slightly proud tone.

"Okay, Miss Best Student~"

Jin-ah replied playfully. Ji-hye also smiled faintly.

Suddenly, Ji-hye’s phone rang. Ji-hye glanced at it to see who was calling.

It turned out to be the director of the Korean branch of the Hero Association.

"Sorry, Jin-ah, I have to take this,"

Ji-hye said to Jin-ah, and Jin-ah imdiately understood.

Ji-hye walked to the building exit and picked up the phone.

"Hello, Director, has a villain appeared?"

"Of course there is. He’s currently carrying out his actions at the bank. He calls himself Indigo Reign. There’s no information on this villain yet. He seems to be a new villain, and it’s unclear what rank he’s at, so be careful when dealing with him."

I stood up from my chair and turned to face Lightnova.

"Oh? Who is this? Isn’t this our S-rank Hero!"

"Welco! Welco! I welco you!"

I clapped my hands, then paused, my voice becoming a little heavy.

"But I’m sorry, I can’t follow your orders, Lightnova."

Lightnova looked annoyed. She glanced around at everyone inside and saw a female bank teller who had lost her right arm.

She looked angry, but for so reason, I felt a little energized by her anger.
