[Beast Army Front – Eastern Ridge, Serenity Crater]

The war had begun.

The once silent serenity of the crater now roared with chaos. Thunder cracked, ash rained, and the scent of blood and magic clung to the air like poison.

Across the eastern ridge, Owen's beast army charged.

Verdant Hollowstag led the charge, its antlers glowing with primal green energy. Each stomp it took caused thorned vines to burst from the earth, impaling and trapping dozens of the Tyrant's twisted minions—flesh-warped beasts bred from decay and nightmare.

"Stand your ground!" Verdant bellowed in the old tongue of Beasts. "For the Beast King!"

Beside it, Seraph-Lynx streaked like a bolt of silver lightning through the air. Wings of radiant white cut through the smoke. Her claws shimred with divine magic as she dove into the front lines, tearing through five corrupted sky-fiends in a blur.

CLASH!

Below, Stonehide Grizzlor, a mountain-like bear with rock-plated armor, intercepted a charging bone-tusker. The shock of their collision cracked the earth—but Stonehide roared louder, swiping once and sending the monster flying back with shattered ribs.

Sky-splitters, demonic bird-beasts with skeletal wings, descended on the Beast King's troops—but Ashmane Wolves, Owen's elite scout unit, leapt in midair and dragged the fliers down to the ground, tearing at them in coordinated fury.

"Hold the skies!" Ashmane's alpha barked.

Behind them, Lumora the Mist Serpent slithered across the rear lines, summoning illusions and veils of fog to confuse enemy formations. Her hypnotic gaze caused enemy beasts to turn on one another in a frenzy.

anwhile, the Tyrant's minions shrieked.

Flesh tendrils, acidic spit, and bone-laced limbs flailed across the crater. These were not natural beings—they were failed evolutions, remnants of those who tried to evolve like the Tyrant and beca monstrosities.

But Owen's army was unshaken.

They had tad storms.

They had hunted gods.

And now, under the banner of the Beast King, they fought with unity, purpose, and fury.

Seraph-Lynx swooped to the cliff edge, landing beside Verdant Hollowstag.

"Too many from the south! The tide's shifting!" she called.

Verdant narrowed his eyes, then bellowed, "Release the Caged One!"

A deep rumble shook the far mountains.

Chains snapped.

From a cave wrapped in ancient sigils, a howl shattered the sky—

The Dire Chira.

Three-headed, bound in a prison for centuries, now unleashed under Owen's command.

It thundered into battle, fire, venom, and ice spewing from its triple maws, clearing entire hordes of the Tyrant's spawn in seconds.

The battlefield shifted.

The balance tilted.

And every beast on Owen's side roared—

"LONG LIVE THE KING!"

[Owen's POV – Serenity Crater, War-Torn Center]

The Tyrant trembled.

Its breathing beca erratic. The ground cracked beneath its feet, and a dark crimson mist started pouring out of its body—like the very essence of rage bleeding through its skin.

Then I heard it—

A heartbeat.

Not mine.

Its.

Thump-thump. Thump-thump.

Louder. Louder. Until the very rhythm of the battlefield danced to its tempo.

"What the hell..." I muttered, backing a step as my instincts scread louder than they ever had.

Its muscles convulsed—ripped open and reford. Horns split into a jagged crown. Bone wings burst from its back, dripping with venomous ooze. The Alpha's eyes glowed with an unholy violet, and its voice... it was layered now. Thousands of snarling voices in one.

"I am no longer your equal... I am your extinction, Owen Yates."

The sky darkened. Lightning danced crimson. My beasts across the crater halted, snarling—afraid.

The Alpha Tyrant had evolved.

[ALERT: New Threat Level – S | Transcended Apex Variant Detected]

I grinned... tightly.

"Looks like I don't get to hold back anymore."

I lunged with Stormclaw Manifest, claws sparking lightning—but it vanished before I hit.

"Too slow."

The next mont, I was slamd from above—buried into the ground like a cratered spear. Before I could get up—

BANG!

Its foot ca down like a teor. My ribs snapped. My HP dropped hard.

[Moonlit Regeneration activated automatically]

I coughed blood, but my healing flared. I rolled, grabbed its ankle, and used Wild Binding—chains of spectral energy wrapped around its limbs.

"I don't care what you beco," I snarled, pulling hard, "You're still going down!"

It snapped the chains with a roar that shook the entire battlefield.

Then it unleashed its own move.

Void Rend Howl – AREA-WIDE CURSE INFUSION.

A pulse of corrupted sound slamd into like a sonic avalanche. My ears bled. My mana trembled.

But I didn't fall.

"You forgot one thing," I said, rising slowly.

Blood pouring from my jaw, my body burned but my spirit surged.

"You may be the Tyrant... but I am the Beast King."

I slamd my claws together.

Wild Soul Pact – Activated.

From the edges of the battlefield, Seraph-Lynx and Verdant Hollowstag howled in unison, their energy surging into .

My form changed—fur black as night, gold stripes glowing, and eyes ignited with the soul of every beast I'd ever tad.

I looked at the Alpha Tyrant.

And smiled.

"Let's finish this."
