Another girl quickly followed up, “And there’s Professor Shen… If I’m not mistaken, it should be Professor Shen Jueming, Gu Huai’s uncle, right? Why would Professor Shen ask Gu Huai to pick up Qi Yue? She’s just an undergraduate from the School of Agriculture…”
“Yeah, yeah! What exactly is going on?”
Everyone turned to Qi Zhen with a gossip-fueled curiosity, “Zhenzhen, do you know anything?”
Qi Zhen’s smile turned sowhat unnatural as she shook her head. “I’m not sure either, I haven’t heard Qi Yue ntion anything. Maybe they have so business with her…”
Chu Jiapei added, “Exactly! If he really was her boyfriend, Qi Yue would have told us by now!”
As Qi Yue and Gu Huai had already ridden away on the bicycle, Qi Zhen suddenly called out to Qi Yue’s receding figure, “Qi Yue! Did you know Chu Mufan is coming back to the country next month?”
Qi Yue turned around abruptly, glancing back in Qi Zhen’s direction.
The mont Qi Zhen’s words fell, Gu Huai distinctly felt the girl’s small hand clutching his waist tighten, lightly pinching him there…
Clearly, Qi Zhen’s words had triggered so emotional turbulence in her.
The bicycle weaved through the crowd and gradually entered the campus, flitting along the tree-lined paths.

After being embraced by the girl, Gu Huai’s back seed to stiffen slightly, but then he resud a steady pace. “It’s nothing, I saw it wrong.”
“Oh…” Startled by the sudden stop, Qi Yue didn’t dare to let go easily and gripped him a bit tighter.
“First love…” After a long pause, Gu Huai’s voice ca through the wind, cryptic: “Are you sure… you’re not mistaken?”
“Huh?”
This question confused Qi Yue quite a bit.
Could soone actually get this kind of question wrong?
Qi Yue muttered to herself in bewildernt, “I shouldn’t be, right? How could I be mistaken about this kind of thing?”
Gu Huai remained silent.
However, Qi Yue definitely felt that the atmosphere around them had beco sohow more oppressive?
Had she said sothing wrong?
Whenever Qi Yue was pondering things, she liked to fiddle with sothing, so now her fingers absentmindedly traced circles on Gu Huai’s waist…
