Paige can even hang out with so many old n, so being young and strong, she should be able to hang out with him as well.

Thinking of this, David beca less resistant and disgusted by everyone’s teasing.

He smiled and looked at Paige, as if conveying that aning.

Paige found it extrely boring, so these kinds of class reunions are basically a waste of ti.

Paige looked at Sumr to convey a ssage—I’m ready to leave.

Sumr squeezed her hand.

She knew Paige wouldn’t bother explaining to irrelevant people, but she couldn’t stand this group joking about a girl’s reputation.

Do they even know Paige to speak so randomly?

At the sa ti, Sumr regretted bringing Paige along.

She stood up, her face cold and said, "We are all adults here, can’t you be a bit more civilized? Even if you lack manners, at least keep your mouth in line. Saying our Paige slept her way up the ladder, let be blunt, who in this world would dare exploit our Paige? Unless he doesn’t want to live!"

Wendy chuckled, "Listening to you, soone who doesn’t know would really think she has a big background."

She looked sarcastic, "Sumr, we know you’re close with Paige, but it’s unnecessary to defend her like this, right?"

Back in high school, Paige was a loner, no luxury cars picking her up, dressed quite ordinarily, does that look like soone wealthy?

Also, if she was really rich, why would she enter the entertainnt industry at such a young age?

It’s truly laughable.

"I’m the eldest daughter of the Xavier Family, living in Jarrow’s most upscale villa area, and I’ve grown up as childhood friends with Paige. Do you really think if Paige were an ordinary person, I’d grow up with her?"

The room went silent for a while, then Sumr added, "Let tell you, our Paige is just low-key and couldn’t care less about your gossiping. If you keep talking nonsense about her, be careful her father hears and cos after you, hmph!"

Everyone started pondering, carefully analyzing Sumr’s words, seeming to find them quite reasonable.

All of a sudden, the way everyone looked at Paige changed.

"Plus, our Paige is already married, in a low-key and hidden marriage, understand? Her husband is tall, handso, and well-matched, so you don’t need to worry about her marital affairs."

Now nobody dares underestimate Paige, upon carefully thinking, everything seems suspicious.

If Paige really relied on wealthy n to start a company, could the real wife endure till now?

Moreover, rich people these days aren’t fools, handing over so much money to a woman to open a company, is that possible?

The only possible explanation is that Paige’s family background might really be extraordinary.

Among those present, how many haven’t offended Paige?

The atmosphere beca a bit awkward, and even Wendy didn’t say anything for a while.

After a while, the class president laughed twice to ease the tension.

"I didn’t expect Paige to be married already haha, why didn’t you tell us? We would have liked to attend the wedding."

But after saying it, he realized, according to Sumr’s announcent, Paige’s husband might not be ordinary either, and they’d likely not have the credentials to attend the wedding.

Paige said calmly, "We just registered, didn’t hold a wedding."

Finished speaking, Paige stood up, "You guys carry on, I’ve got sothing to do, I’m off."

Everyone imdiately stood up to try to keep her.

But Paige walked away without hesitation,

As she left, Sumr also found it pointless to stay, grabbed her bag and followed.

Inside the room, everyone looked at each other, feeling it was not great to sour relations with Paige, and imdiately followed her out.

Then they saw another group of people in the hallway.

One classmate said, "That’s our company’s chairman, President Chambers, and several other big bosses, I need to go greet them."

But before he could go up to greet, President Chambers waved over with a smile, appearing very kind.

No one knew whom he was waving at; they all observed the speaking classmate.

The classmate looked baffled, thinking he’s just an ordinary employee, how could President Chambers know him?

But it seed like only he had the qualification to know President Chambers here, and he thought maybe his diligent work had been silently noticed by the boss.

Nervous and unsure, he was about to move forward but heard Wes say, "Maybe President Chambers is calling , my dad has so connections with him, and they t at a party last ti."

Everyone thought that made sense.

Then Wes spoke, smilingly, and was about to walk over.

Wendy imdiately held his arm, "Darling, I’ll go with you."

Can’t miss the opportunity to et influential people, right?

Wes nodded, and the two walked over together.

"Hello, President Chambers."

Uncle Chambers, "And you are...?"

Wes’ smile was a bit awkward. So President Chambers wasn’t looking at him?

"I’m Wes, uh, my dad is..."

"Oh oh oh..."

Uncle Chambers didn’t really rember Wes or his father, but being a businessman, wouldn’t let soone be embarrassed and, pretending to know, laughed twice, "Oh, it’s you."

Wes was about to continue talking to let President Chambers have a deeper understanding of him but saw President Chambers quickly stop the conversation, seemingly uninterested, and kept waving over there.

Wes and Wendy felt a bit awkward.

Watching her uncle waving with such effort, Paige lazily walked up to him.

Uncle Chambers smiled and even reached out to pat Paige’s head.

Paige dodged a bit, dissatisfied, "Stop patting my head, you’ll make it bald."

"Can’t uncle pat you once?"

Paige snorted softly.

Everyone observed their intimate behavior, looking dazed,

"Does Paige even know President Chambers?" No one dared to say Paige was relying on wealthy n anymore.

If her family truly is wealthy, saying that would be even more offensive.

Sumr rolled her eyes, "Are you kidding? That’s her real uncle."

"What?"

When Sumr saw their shocked expressions, she coldly snorted.

Then she smiled and ran over too, "Uncle Chambers."

"Sumr," Uncle Chambers’ smile grew wider as he glanced around, "Are these your high school classmates?"

"Yeah, it’s our high school classmates’ reunion today."

Uncle Chambers didn’t know Paige and Sumr had a spat with everyone at the reunion, and imdiately told the staff next to him: "Put their expenses on my tab."

Then rembering sothing, he pulled several red envelopes from his bag.

Uncle Chambers had a habit of distributing random red envelopes, seeing him pull out the envelopes, Paige knew what he was up to and quickly took them all.

"Okay, Uncle, I’ve received your red envelopes," she said, "Let’s just put it that way, I’m leaving now."

Uncle Chambers, "Eh, the red envelopes..."

Paige, "I know, I know, I’ll split them with Sumr, Uncle, you get busy, we’re off now."

Uncle Chambers, "..."

Paige and Sumr left, and at the doorway, their classmates’ eyes were still on her.

This ti, they truly believed Paige’s background wasn’t simple, even Wes broke away from Wendy to cozy up to Paige.

Paige seed annoyed, "Can you stay away? If you keep babbling, I’ll hit you."

Wes cheekily replied, "If you hit , it’s my blessing."

Annoyed by his cheekiness, Paige actually punched him, causing his nose to bleed.

Wendy imdiately ran over, "Paige, what are you doing? How can you hit him?!"

Paige replied, "He said it, getting hit by is his blessing."

Wendy’s face turned slightly green.

Paige expressionlessly said, "Keep your dog away from , my temper isn’t good."
