Sol suddenly shook his head internally.
’No, how can I find soone like that in the Huashan Sect? It’s not like he would be causally walking around in the open for to approach.’
Sol then sighed and said.
"Is this enough to buy a bow?"
"Maybe an ordinary one, but you’ll need one crafted by a blacksmith and inscribed with runes by Runemaster for it to be useful in battle. If you don’t have enough Aether Stones Brother Sol, I can buy a bow and a Movent Skill for you. You can pay back later."
Sol shook his head.
"Thanks, Brother Yoon-Jae, but I’ll just buy a normal bow and inscribe the runes myself. As for the Movent Skill, I can go on missions to earn enough money to buy it."
Sol really didn’t want to beco dependent on soone else’s help.
His Father always said it was better to struggle for what he wanted than to have things handed to him.
Yoon-Jae smiled and then said.
"Then let’s go buy you a bow, the Battle Pavilion also sells an assortnt of weapons."
Sol nodded before he ran back to the second floor and placed all the manuals back before leaving the Martial Arts Library with Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae.
....
...
..
Back at the Huashan Sect...
Sol was currently dancing his way back to the party, but Little Zeel suddenly popped his head out from his robes.
"Oh, did I wake you? I’m sorry."
Sol rubbed Little Zeel’s head before he slipped back into Sol’s robes.
Sol settled for humming a happy tone.
However, he couldn’t help but think back on his eting with Byeong-Ho’s Master just now.
’I’m happy that I was able to learn Heavenly Stride, ah, perhaps it should be called Heavenly Steps!’
This idea suddenly ca to Sol and interrupted his train of thought. But he soon went back on track.
"Since I filled in the gaps I suppose no one should investigate my background too deeply."
His Innate Dharma and him originating from the Ibbian Mountain Range, his bloodline that gives him abnormal strength, as well as his Master being Cheonma.
Sol couldn’t allow anyone to find out these things. So using this eting with Byeong-Ho’s Master he was able to explain those things away.
Now that he learn the Heavenly Steps Movent Skill, when he uses it, his connection with Beyond-Ho’s Master would be revealed.
He wanted to establish a connection with such a high-profile figure, without actually establishing connections with him.
Perhaps now if soone wanted to know more about Sol they would go to Byeong-Ho’s Master and he would retell his lies.
If a lie is repeated, it can beco truth.
However, revealing his Innate Dharma was a risk as its true nature could have been seen through. However, it would have been revealed sooner or later, plus Sol was confident that no one else was as knowledgeable as his Master or his Uncle-Master to see through it.
Sol didn’t know how long it was until these secrets are discovered, but he knew there would be so consequences when they do.
Until then, Sol would do as much as he can to grow stronger so he could resolve everything.
Sol felt his conviction strengthening.
Soon, Sol arrived back at the party and t up with Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule who were waiting for him.
"What took you so long? That Byeong-Ho suddenly appeared and claid the party was over and the sparring matches are going to begin imdiately."
Mar-Dule said, and Yoon-Jae followed up with.
"It’s strange, that’s not like the perfectionist Byeong-Ho, the party usually last until a few more hours."
Sol’s eyes gain a strange glow when he heard that, but he hid it as he and the others walked with the crowd towards the large stage set up in another clearing.
Several chairs could be seen around the stage.
It was also noticeable that these chairs were separated to reflect the different powers in Jianghu. Or perhaps the different Pavilions in the Martial Alliance Academy.
Mar-Dule got a main seat in one section of the chairs, while Yoon-Jae got one as well.
It was now that he was in this setting that Sol realized Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae weren’t ordinary people.
They were figureheads of either an entire Race or an entire Pavilion.
anwhile, Sol sat slightly behind Yoon-Jae in the Alchemy Pavilion seating.
He wasn’t that affected by being placed in the background as well. He was just happy to be here and look around at the people who were from different sects and clans in Jianghu.
Everyone here was geniuses of this younger generation that had fa across Jianghu.
Sol wondered if all of them were going to spar.
Would he get to spar with so of them?
Yoon-Jae had said this was disguised as simple sparring matches, but they were also choosing who would get the best locations in the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dinsion.
It took a while but Sol finally understood what kind of place that was.
It was a pocket dinsion that the Martial Alliance Academy owned. And every year disciples from the Academy would be able to enter.
As for what was inside this pocket dinsion, from its na, one could tell it was filled with rare dicinal plants and herbs.
However, the thing is, this place was coveted by the Six Holy Sects and the Five Great Clans.
So despite it being a place for the disciples to obtain resources, it turned into a scramble between the top powers to grab as many resources from the pocket dinsion using their disciples.
The Huashan Sect was probably able to host this gathering that was going to divide up the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dinsion because they had a lot of sway in the Academy from having two Grand Elders.
Byeong-Ho’s Master might have not wanted anything to do with his position as a Grand Elder, but the fact still remain he had the position at the end of the day.
Sol couldn’t help but realize the academy was just a cage for the top powers to introduce their younger generation to the power struggle between them.
"Alright everyone, the sparring matches will now begin! If anyone is unsatisfied with the locations they currently have from last year, step onto the stage and request the location you desire!!"
Byeong-Ho who was sat at the head seat for the Huashan Sect yelled for all to hear.
Yoon-Jae was right, he sounded a bit eager to start the sparring matches for so reason.
